We were able to check in a little early. Each room has a designated parking spot, and the Inn is walking distance to restaurants, shops, the beach, and Marginal Way. It’s about 1.5 miles from Perkins Cove, but it’s walkable and/or a short shuttle ride. Beautifully renovated, and great personalized service!

Right in the middle of where you want to be. It is walkable to all the shops in town, the Marginal Way, the beach and many restaurants along Main Street (Highway 1). This was a very last-minute booking (not planned) as we decided to return to Ogunquit because we loved it so much and only had stayed one night earlier in the week. This place even had a reserved parking spot for our car which was super convenient as you have the pay to park all around. We did not utilize the restaurant but would do so if we ever return. Our room (#7) was so nice, a great balcony to enjoy drinks/coffee, and a good view of the ocean/beach area. Plus, this place is obviously newly renovated and it is beautifully done. Our a/c in the main room was not working properly but the second unit was so it was not an issue. I just informed the front desk when I checked out and they were going to look into it before the next guest. I highly recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat when/if I ever return to Ogunquit!

Lauren could not be nicer. My room was recently renovated and beautifully appointed with antique furniture. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. As is the case with old structures, there was no elevator so getting luggage to the second floor was a challenge but figured it out. The Inn’s restaurant was great, too. I was taken care of by Brooke and she was also wonderful. Perfectly located for walking through town (or accessing Ogunquit Beach in the Summer), I can’t wait to return.

This property is 10/10, and Lauren is super accommodating. My wife and I stayed here for two nights and it was phenomenal! The property is right downtown, within walking distance of more than a dozen great restaurants in Ogunquit, the beach, and the Marginal Way entry point. A disclaimer: If you are older, or have difficulty moving your legs, it will likely be hard for you to go up and down the steep staircase to your room. All-in-all, I would recommend this inn 100% and I will be staying here if I return to Ogunquit!

Very nice location close to shops and restaurants clean, comfortable and ample room Just be aware no elevator So might have to climb stairs with your bags. Also no coffee matching at the room. Bus hostess was nice enough to prepare a espresso y regular black coffee for us

We were told we had room on second floor but when we checked in we were given room on third floor, we are elderly, hard to navigate the steep stairs with baggage. Parking very tight and adjacent to busy restaurant access .

This is a beautifully renovated property with large comfortable rooms in the heart of town. It also has a good restaurant and a fun bar. If you have mobility problems be aware that it has steep stairs and, of course, no elevator (built in 1833). For us, the only small inconvenience was that they don’t have coffee in the rooms or available on the property, although there are coffee shops close by.

We arrived for a one night stay before check-in time and were happy to be able to leave our car in the lot before 3:00. From there it went downhill. We were under-whelmed with a lackluster welcome. We weren't even addressed by name. Furniture and TV were fine but room was quite dark with inadequate lamp lighting. There are no USB ports for phone charging on the lamps or anywhere, so glad we had an adapter. Only one squirt bottle of soap available, nothing separate for shower use. The shower basin filled up with water. Upon lifting the grate cover, the drain was completely covered with hair. (I took a picture to show them.) Once I wiped up the hair, the drain bubbled for a while before clearing the water. Upon checkout we received only a mildly apologetic, "I'll have to pour something down the drain."

The property is nice enough for a renovated village inn but on our second night ants moved in. They were still coming when we checked out despite ant traps. Additionally, since our room was on the second floor in the front of the inn , the noise from Main Street never stopped! We never got a good nights sleep. Should you choose to stay here,insist on a room at the back of the inn.

Old hotel in perfect location within walking distance to local shops. We had a wonderful sea view and a useful balcony. But the hotel itself was run down. It seemed that the focus was more on the restaurant and bar. We pointed out that the parking signs outside were covered in bushes, but that didn't seem to make any difference for the front desk. We accept impractical solutions, but there were some totally unacceptable conditions: 1) bathroom door could not close, 2) refrigerator had a loose connection to a multi-socket located beside the heating panel. There were nice towels and accessories, but we saw dust on the bedside lamps and on the bathroom ceiling fan. All in all not acceptable for the price.

Unique property with beautiful rooms. Our room was a king room and had a separate seating area in back, with a bathroom behind that. Really cool layout with attractive and updated decor, felt less like a hotel room and more like a private loft. The rooms are located above a restaurant and bar in a bustling area so understand there is going to be noise. I wouldn't say it was quiet but that was not a problem for us as we are familiar with the area. It is perfectly located to anything you'd want to do in Ogunquit. The only negative thing I'd say is that the air conditioner was really weak, it was in the sitting room and barely seemed like cool air reached the bedroom, so we did find it to be warm even with the air conditioner as low as we could make it. Staff was incredibly friendly. Overall really enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you don't mind a little street noise.

The room was very large with high end furnishing, linens and bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable with a marshmellow-like duvet that was great for the cold weather.

The hotel is in the middle of everything- walk to the Marginal Way, restaurants, and shops. Newly renovated with beautiful furnishings and what might be the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on!

Couldn’t have asked for a better walkable location and the hotel was just gorgeous - loads of vintage charm with all the updated amenities. Bar was great, restaurant looked excellent although we didn’t dine. Highly recommend! No coffee in the room but tons of options literally right outside the front door.

From the time we arrived, the entire stay was amazing! We met Lauren, the manager, as soon as we walked in the door... She couldn't have been any more delightful and accommodating. The Inn is located right in the old village, surrounded by all things decorated in the Christmas atmosphere... Delightful! Not to say the least, but the room/ suite was totally amazing too 😊

Brusque, strange check in. Zero helpfulness. In terrible run down condition upstairs. Abandoned in the morning. Literally no one around. Cute outside, center of town location. Otherwise deeply disappointing. Haunting stories quite possibly true

Lauren could not be nicer. My room was recently renovated and beautifully appointed with antique furniture. The room was clean, spacious, and quiet. As is the case with old structures, there was no elevator so getting luggage to the second floor was a challenge but figured it out. The Inn’s restaurant was great, too. Lauren wasn outstanding. Everyone on the property was friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and much nicer than we had imagined. The location was incredible. We will return!

The property was nice and what we expected. However when we woke up from our first night we couldn't get out. The door handle was broken. . I called the emergency number and explained to the man he said he would send someone out. An hour later and ask did we get it out. I said we were able to climb out the bathroom window to the roof to exit but it wasn't ideal with a 5 year old. His response " we weren't expecting any children" the reservation was for 2 adults. What does that have to do with a broken door, a fire hazard, absolutely nothing. We left for the day and they said the door was fixed. It would open but we couldnt lock it for the remainder of the stay.

We were able to check in a little early. Each room has a designated parking spot, and the Inn is walking distance to restaurants, shops, the beach, and Marginal Way. It’s about 1.5 miles from Perkins Cove, but it’s walkable and/or a short shuttle ride. Beautifully renovated, and great personalized service!

The property was great as were all staff. Food we had in restaurant was excellent. Only issue was noise from street outside from 5am onwards and also someone staying on floor above walking around at about 6 am.

The Inn is beautiful, very clean and comfortable. Only downside is noisy as its on Main st, but with earplugs a non issue.

We only stayed in Ogunquit for one night, and I am so thrilled we stayed here! Absolutely beautiful, special decor, the bar and dining options were fantastic and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Location on the main thoroughfare was perfect! Only wish is that we should have stayed longer☺️

The hotel is in the middle of everything- walk to the Marginal Way, restaurants, and shops. Newly renovated with beautiful furnishings and what might be the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on!

Nice location, easy check in. Room was charming clean and comfortable. Bonus was the breakfast restaurant on the first level that provided a marvelous breakfast. Glad we were there on a day it was open.

Absolutely beautiful Inn! My room was great, spectacular view of Ogunquit Beach. You can’t beat the location of this hotel. The restaurant was awesome also. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Would definitely go again

We absolutely loved our stay at the Old Village Inn. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. The restaurant and bar was amazing. The service and the food/drinks were very good. From he heirloom tomatoes, to the mixed drinks and everything in between. Highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay there again. Bummed we didn’t think to stay long. Ogunquit was a gem in of itself.

I always love going to Ogunquit and southern Maine in September. The crowds are smaller and sometimes you can get a good beach day earlier in the month. The hotel had gone under a renovation earlier this year - it is beautiful and tastefully done. The room was large and had a private deck. This was a nice feature and we utilized it with the nice weather after coming back from the beach. The inn is located on Main Street and very accessible to restaurants, shops and the beach. The staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. The only negative thing we experienced was the food/menu in their restaurant. Very unusual fare for us. However they did seem to have a lot of people that ate there, it just wasn’t for us. We went down the road to their other restaurant The Front Yard. Very delicious food and excellent craft cocktails.

My second stay this summer. I love it here. Lauren is the inn-keeper; She is very attentive to your needs and Jack is an incredible bartender/mixologist. Delicious drinks and great vibe. While we went to a couple different restaurants, I have eaten dinner at the Inn before and the food and service are wonderful.

I wanted to love this hotel but it was just a like. The best part was the bed maybe the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on. My husband usually wakes up at 6 but slept til 8! However the shower was so small, worse than a cruise ship. I had to step out to shave my legs and I’m a limber 5’2”. Lots of stairs up to your room, also. There’s a restaurant downstairs with a “fun” bar. If u read that as “ noisy” you are getting the picture. It shuts down around 10 or so but if you’re early to bed take this into consideration. Perfect location though.
