Nice and new! The pool was warm. Good breakfast food!

Staff was very nice! Pool was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good and well stocked! Good place would definitely staff again!

Pool needed attention. Not a big deal, it it was too dirty to swim in.

Excellent staff, cleanliness, and comfort. Have stayed several times and the parking is horrible. There is never any parking in the hotel parking lot.

The pool is totally awesome if you like a heated pool you will love this pool!

The only issue with this property was the parking. Advertised free parking and there was absolutely NO PARKING!!

The system was down when we first came in for check-in. The system remained down as people were pouring in for check-in. When the system was back up, the front desk did not notify anybody. When people found out, they all quickly ran up to the front desk to get checked in. It was utter chaos. After a long check in process, we decided to go to the pool to relax a bit. The pool was dirty and reeked heavily of chlorine.

Parking is tight but available. Hotel next door that shares parking not as nice and has some long term guests.

The pool was out of order for 2 of the 3 days we stayed and that was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel

This hotel was so clean and quiet. Rooms and common areas were spotless. I’m not sure if it was recently renovated, but everything seemed fresh and new. The fitness center was adequate for my needs and so was the breakfast. It is close to lots of stores and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

The room wreaked of stale smoke and the floor was sticky. The hallway smelled like marijuana smoke. Overall it did the trick if a place to lay your head.

Check in staff was nice but then the situation turned. Ants in room, cleaning staff ignored the do not disturb sign and tried to enter anyways, and rude check out staff that called and asked why we were not checked out two hours before the check out time.

The room was disgustingly dirty. The carpet looked like someone has been sick. The room was just dirty.

We’ve stayed at better properties. Found a long black hair in between the sheets as well as two tiny bugs. We pulled up the corners of the sheets and found nothing so it was probably just pest control issue. Pillows are pretty small for a king bed! The towels were also small. The fridge in the room was a plus. Breakfast was ok. Fruit and eggs were good. The property was clean & there was free parking. Location was close to many restaurants.

Nice, clean property. Front desk attendant was very pleasant, was quite busy during check-in but she handled with ease. It’s quiet and spacious.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and well-maintained, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious, which made getting ready each day super comfortable. I really appreciated the complimentary breakfast—there were plenty of options, and everything was fresh. Most of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from check-in to check-out. Their hospitality truly made the experience feel above and beyond. I’d definitely stay here again!

I woke at 2am one morning and saw a massive cockroach on my wall that I had to kill. Not cool. The service was great. Special shoutout to Eric (front desk) for being so warm and welcoming.

This property was cool. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of options for food nearby. Only issue is the room I was staying in the heater was annoyingly loud.

Road noise too loud, otherwise great

The hotel and staff are great. However my room as very noisy as it overlooked a busy intersection. The hotel also shares a parking lot with lower end hotels. The room was in very good, clean condition, and the included breakfast is nice. If I were to stay here again I’d as for a room facing the parking lot or on the opposite end of the hotel from the intersection.

The room was clean and well maintenance.. I received an upgrade that puts me in a large suite👍 Unfortunately the hot water wasn’t really hot enough for a relaxing hot bath .. but Eve thing else is amazing

Property was clean but it was very disappointing to learn that a Hot Shower was not possible. Water was like warm and pretty poorly insulated to block out noise from highway. Breakfast was fine. Bed and Pillows were fine. Staff were nice, but if you like a hot shower, it will disappoint you

Internet access was terrible and it was noisy because of the hotel right next to the highway.

Downside is the building is right next to a busy major intersection and the accoustic isolation is minimal. We were awakened repeatedly through the night by trucks using the engines to break for the light and then reving engines to start up again. We asked to be moved to a quieter side of the hotel, but the desk attendant would not grant our request. We'll not stay in this hotel a second time...

Normally don’t complain but arrived about midnight. Doors were locked and could not get in to lobby to check in. Picked up service phone on wall. Let it ring for about 5 minutes with no answer. Then called hotel from my cell phone and could not get answer. Finally another guest came in door, using their key card and after about 15 minutes I finally got into lobby. Nobody at desk. After a little bit the night clerk finally came out. He appeared to not have any idea how to work computer to get me checked in. Took forever but finally got my room. Everything else about the hotel was great but check in was horrible

2 male managers entered our room without permission or announcing who they were or what they wanted. Our teenage daughter was in the room by herself at this time and they terrified her. She screamed for them to leave, latched the lock but they kept knocking and continued to try to get in. It was very scary and unprofessional.

The front desk staff at this property was excellent.

The staff was extremely helpful from the check in staff until the check out staff. Would definitely be staying in one of your hotels again

Had a wonderful stay with the family (two small kids). The hotel is modern and clean, quiet inside (appreciated the quiet hours). The parking is lot is shared with another hotel and fills up quickly. The front desk staff (Eric) was very helpful and full of information. Will definitely be back as this hotel is close to UVA and other various shops

From the welcoming check-in to our departure everything was excellent.

Disappointing Experience with Front Desk "Manager" I was very disappointed with the hospitality at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Charlottesville, Virginia. Upon check-in, I arrived with four friends and had booked two rooms for our group. One of my friends stepped up to the counter first and gave her last name, and I simply added that the reservation might be under my last name, since I was the one who booked both rooms. To my shock, the gentleman at the front desk turned to me and said I was being extremely rude. I was confused and asked why, and he replied that he was helping "the other lady," not me. I calmly explained that I had booked the rooms and thought they may be under my name, which is why I spoke up. He responded by saying he didn't care and that I was being rude to "the other lady" by cutting in front of her — despite the fact that we were literally standing side by side, checking in together. All four of us were stunned. My husband then asked to speak with the manager — and unbelievably, the man claimed he was the manager. If this is truly how management treats guests, it’s incredibly disappointing. None of us were rude in any way; we were just trying to check into the rooms I had already reserved. I’ve stayed at many Country Inn & Suites locations and have never had an experience like this. Hospitality and professionalism should be the bare minimum, especially from someone representing the hotel as a manager. Sadly, this enc

Housekeepers did not clean room the whole 5 days we were there even after asking them for extra towels we had to go down to the front desk nightly to get them! Also had to take our own garbage out! When talking with them they didn’t speak English

The gals at the front desk when we arrived were very friendly and efficient. They offered some great options for dinner and their suggestion did not disappoint. Everyone asked if we needed anything while we were there. One suggestion though…stock the room with more washcloths, cups, coffee, tea, etc. We had a great stay.

This hotel is the perfect location for walking to the JPJ Arena for basketball and excellent area for dining.

We stay every visit to UVA. Close to it as well as shopping and dining choices.

The room and hotel was clean. It was convenient for shopping but not walkable to restaurants, downtown, etc... It was a bit noisy at night with traffic.

Breakfast was not enough. Product was out 1.5 hours before closing.

Hotel location at the crossroad of highly popular roads made it noisy all day and night. To avoid if you’re sensitive to traffic noise. The room was just below the roof AC machine controlling the corridors cooling. It turned on and off every hour making the most horrible sound and trembling of the room. The staff admitted it but couldn’t help it. The breakfast was super limited and the cherry on the top is that you eat on paper plates with plastic cutlery 🫣☹️

Great location in terms of convenience, but because of that is a busy, noisy spot. Room and common areas of the hotel were great though, clean, modern, etc. Breakfast was fresh and always stocked with coffee.

We enjoyed our stay at this Country Inns and Suites. The only negative was that the breakfast foods weren't being kept re- stocked very well when we went down for breakfast. The first day was fine; the 2nd day was an issue. Otherwise things were very good.

Super clean room. Bed was a bit soft, though. Hot breakfast but no hot option for vegetarians. The eggs with ham in them should be just eggs. Please!

This was a great property. Conveniently located off the highway. Can be noisy because of this but we just played white noise to drown it out. Excellent fresh breakfast in the morning in the lobby. Everyone we encountered was fabulous and friendly.. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Room was clean. Breakfast was disappointing. There was something that resembled a French Toast stick--not sure, but it was cold. Limited cereal and only instant oatmeal packets. Coffee had a metallic taste. We went across the street to Starbucks and had coffee and something to eat. Also there was no guide for TV remote and it took forever to find a channel.
