I really liked the decor of this hotel. It was very zen with interesting art, light fixtures and wall treatments made of natural materials. The front desk staff were friendly and cheerful. The restaurant was good for breakfast but not for dinner. One day we had to leave before breakfast and they were nice enough to pack a picnic breakfast for us, but when we opened them it was ham sandwich despite requesting vegetarian. This hotel is on the main road with lots of stores and restaurants. It's about a 15 min walk to the port our the beach. The outdoor space with the pool has very beautiful gardens and the bar opens up to it. There is an indoor pool and spa with a charge which we did not have time to use.

This is a resort style property with a heated outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool. The breakfast buffet is bigger than any other hotel I have stayed in This is the wind surfers paradise and hundreds of kites are in the air during the day.

Breakfast was also excellent, with a wide selection and good quality. Two ladies at the front desk were especially friendly and helpful when we checked in, which left a very positive first impression. Unfortunately, this impression didn’t last. Throughout the rest of our stay, we rarely felt acknowledged or welcomed. Staff interactions were minimal, and we were hardly greeted. Even among other guests, we didn’t feel a very open or friendly atmosphere – as German guests, we sometimes felt a bit out of place. We didn’t use the pool because there were no umbrellas and the area was quite small – not ideal for relaxing. The Sky Bar sounded more exciting in the description than it was in reality. There was no greeting or explanation, and guests are expected to serve themselves, but no one tells you that. The hotel’s location is okay. It’s about a 10–15 minute walk to the beautiful, long sandy beach. However, be aware that some sections of the beach allow dogs, and unfortunately, there was quite a bit of dog waste, which took away from the otherwise great beach experience. Overall, it’s a quiet hotel with potential, but lacking in service and guest experience.

The rooms were nice and it’s a nice hotel, but the pools were shut off for the season and the price didn’t reflect that. Do not eat at the restaurant in the hotel. The food was terrible. Possibly the worst food we’ve had in years ….or ever.

Great Hotel .. I really liked the layout and the decoration of the hotel is beatiful. The Pool is a good size and the Rooftop bar was a highlight. We watched the sunset.

A lovely hotel to come back to after spending the day exploring the area; we had a car & although the car park was full we always found a spot nearby. It’s about a 20 minute walk into the centre which suited us, slightly less to the nearest beach, Los Lances. The rooftop pool is a great place for sundowners & watching the sunset. Great breakfast too. We wished we had stayed longer & would definitely return

Super tolles Frühstück, sehr gepflegte Anlage mit schönem Pool, wurde viel genutzt auf Grund des windigen Wetters. Würde ich definitiv weiterempfehlen.

El hotel es muy bonito y está muy limpio, el personal muy atento, amable y eficaz, la comida buena, el desayuno extraordinario. En general todo muy bien, lo recomiendo si vienes a Tarifa.

Ho scelto questo albergo perché in viaggio con il mio cane e cercavo un bel albergo che fosse anche “pet friendly”. All’arrivo mi fanno firmare una dichiarazione di numerose condizioni e mi informano che al cane era consentito l’accesso esclusivamente alla stanza, mentre non poteva sostare in NESSUNA ALTRA PARTE dell’albergo. Però non lo potevi lasciare da solo in stanza. Da NON CREDERCI, eppure è tutto vero. Inoltre mi è stata assegnata una stanza al piano terra (le uniche per chi ha un cane e che peraltro PAGA DI PIÙ) con vista incrocio e cantiere. Mentre non puoi portare il cane da nessuna parte, invece è consentito fumare nelle zone comuni e a colazione ho dovuto sopportare il fumo dei vicini di tavolo tutte le mattine. Oltre ai bambini ai quali invece è consentito girare indisturbati tra i tavoli correndo ed urlando se lo ritengono. Tornando alla camera, oltre alla vista e all’odore di sgradevole, il phon non funzionava, la luce in corridoio nemmeno e le pulizie giornaliere a dir poco approssimative. Tutto ciò è stato segnalato al direttore che ha scrollato le spalle e non ha fatto ASSOLUTAMENTE NULLA di gesto di cortesia vista l’insoddisfazione manifestata. Levando il cane, per il resto, le foto pubblicizzate non corrispondono alle reali condizioni della struttura. Non c’è un parcheggio e parcheggiare è a dir poco difficile. La posizione è a 20 minuti a piedi dal centro, pessima. Purtroppo non ho trovato altra struttura altrimenti avrei cambiato posto.

Ein tolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Sehr gepflegte Aussenanlagen und ein richtig schöner Poolbereich. Das Hotelzimmer hat eine gute Größe. Teilweise hat das Material schon gelitten. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Wir können das Hotel trotz kleiner Mängel absolut empfehlen.

Wonderful modern new property. Everything was great. We arrived in a rain storm so we did not take advantage of the pool and gorgeous grounds. Only suggestion was the tv would not hold a channel and volume control was messed as well. They tried to fit it to no avai.

Very clean comfortable room. Located within walking distance to the beach and a short five minute drive to pick up the ferry to Tanger. Our room had a fabulous balcony. I only wish we stayed longer so we could have enjoyed it.

The staff was helpful and I was nicely upgraded to a room with a view of the sea. The room was excellent. Tarifa is a cozy little surf town with great dining option.

Relativ kleines Zimmer. Sitzgelegenheiten nur auf der Terasse. Gutes Frühstück. Supermarkt gegenüber. Tiefgarage verflügbar. Etwa 500m vom Strand. Schöner langer und breiter Strand, viele Surfer.

Leider war unser Zimmer (executive mit Meerblick) genau über den Mülltonnen. Die Lärm- und Geruchs Belästigung war dementsprechend. Das Restaurant ist nicht zu empfehlen. Wir haben 2x das Abendessen reklamiert, da es kalt war, und es wurde mit einem Lächeln abgetan und abkassiert. Die Direktion sagte nur, dass sie kein vernünftiges Personal finden.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel bietet eine sehr schöne Atmosphäre und das Zimmer ist großzügig und praktisch eingerichtet. Leider ist das WLAN sehr unstabil.

We stayed for 3 nights. Area is safe and walkable to the beach! Loved the place. Room was very comfortable and spacious with a balcony. Breakfast was really good! Laura was very pleasant and friendly! Pool was nice!

The shells in the lampshade were so loud it sounded like we were sleeping under church bells and were ver disturbing

A new hotel with really large rooms. The design is really unique. Only the headboard and nightstand was uncomfortable. Some more furniture and some carpet could make the room more homy. The top deck pool and terrace was not open in April. The garden with the pool and sunbeds are really nice. The poll is not heated, 22-24 C in april. The breakfast is perfect. The food and service of bar is also good, the service is fast. WiFi is working well. Air conditioning is fine. The parking space is limited. It is quite far from the oldtown. This hotel was much better that we expected.

Staff were amazing! When I asked front desk for help, they solved immediately. When I asked travel and transportation questions which I couldn’t figure out online, he printed out the information with adding his knowledge for where I was going to visit. Housekeeping is also doing great job here, and the breakfast is also wonderful. Bed is very unique that colorfully lights up

A one night stay worked well for us when you don’t need to stay in Tarifa’s historical the old town. Checkin was smooth. Bu we were startled at checkout when the receptionist told us we haven’t paid without even checking records, which was unfriendly if not rude.

Reception staff were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, they made us feel very welcome, also the hotel rooms and facilities were excellent!

We had an excellent stay. The property was above and beyond what we thought. The photos on hotels.com don’t do justice. The customer service was the spectacular. Carolina went above and beyond for our group of 11. Excellent hospitality professional.

Pues ha ido genial porque nos hemos sentido acogidos como en casa, nos hicieron recomendaciones además espectaculares y pasamos una estancia de lujo. Las instalaciones están muy bien pero es que no hay nada como la gente que trabaja allí.

Very close to a spectacular beach. Had to do street parking, but it was super easy. excellent brunch. Good pool area. A little far to walk into old town but easy drive.

We had a great stay in Tarifa at Hotel Lances. It is at the edge of town with a twenty minute walk to the historic district and two block walk to the beach. We found the location excellent for a restful day mid trip and a perfect jump off point to Tangier for a quick couple of days. They even stored our luggage so we could travel light. The staff were excellent.

Beautiful hotel on the edge of Tarifa. 20 minutes walk into the centre, supermarket opposite. Staff were very helpful and our stay was very comfortable. Would certainly stay again!

This hotel is new and very nice. It is important to note that it is a 15-20 minute walk to th old town where the nice restaurants and stores are. However, it is a 5 minute walk to a very beautiful calm beach! Well worth staying there!

Very nice hotel! But on outskirts of town, but will VERY walkable to restaurants and shopping! Exceeded expectations!

Beautiful hotel close to the water; lovely pool; very convenient to the port as we took a 9 am ferry to Morocco; and the gentlemen at the front were fabulous - friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. Though there is no parking on-sight, we had no problem finding a space almost right in front of it. Wish we could have stayed here longer!

The property has a lovely pool area and there is loads of free parking on the street. It’s a 30min walk to old town but with lots of shops to make it pleasant. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve seen.

Perfect hotel in Tarifa The only one at a decent price whith a wonderful pool and quality buffet breakfast Near the real beach not the small one in the center The rooms are large too I recommend taking an ocean view ( with terrace ) or at least pool view it DOES worth it

Beautiful and staff is lovely. Breakfast is wonderful

This was my 4th time stay at this hotel and I have always been very pleased before. However this time I got very disappointed. The service in the restaurant and bar was really bad and the half board evening meal was hardly eatable. Sooo bad like in s cheap bar not a 4 star hotel. Also breakfast has been changed. No yoghurts any longer?? No fresh vegetables. Only 2 kinds of juice (no Apple, no tomato, no pineapple juices???j I informed the receptionist but they just said sorry. This was definatly the last visit and from now on I will not rekommend this hotel to my friends any longer. There are so many other hotels to choose from for much better price, with much bettet quality food and better service. So sorry but no thanks. Did the management change perhaps?

4/5 is fair. We’ve stayed here a few times before so we knew what to expect. It’s not 5* but that’s fine and it’s not advertised as such. Overall, a pleasant stay and we would stay again. Unfortunately had to change room around midnight on the first night as air conditioning didn’t work in addition to the ceiling fan - this was not ideal, but I guess it happens. Definite improvement area is better provision for gluten free guests at breakfast - this was sub par for a 4* hotel - need to do better here
