We got in late, but had everything we needed to get into the room without disturbing anybody. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. This was much appreciated after several lodging’s that were very uncomfortable.

I had a most enjoyable stay at Bay Lodge. The owner was most welcoming. Very comfy bed, lovely white crisp bedding & luxury white fluffy towels. Nice little unexpected treat in the fridge (chocolates) Great location for nearby beach or surrounding areas (via the train) Good cafe, shop & chip shop close by.

Lovely room, well presented and very clean. Great location and secluded. We enjoyed the night we was there, very relaxing. Easy to check in via a key safe. Lots of spaces to park outside on the street, right next to the property.

Room was cosy, good enough for 1 night stay. Good commuincation about how to get in, key safe, etc. There was an odd smell in the ensuite - not sure what was causing it. There was mould on ceiling above shower cubicle. Venue does not have any on-site parking, free parking in streets around venue.

In over 30 years of travelling on business, this is one of the best places I have stayed in.Although I did not meet the owners it was clear that the accommodation was well looked after and virtually everything had been thought of for the comfort of their guests. Virtually everything was absolutely spotlessly clean.The only small point I noticed was that there was dirt around the toilet seat hinge - a bit of a dirt trap and difficult to access(I\'m sounding like a "Four in a Bed" contestant now!).However, I would not hesitate in recommending Bay Lodge to anyone. Well done, John G

Very clean room with a lovely shower. The treats left were a nice touch! Easy to find with good clear instructions, easy to get into the property. Felt safe there. A lovely little cafe just down the road (the bouncing bomb), def worth a visit and the locals were very friendly. A short walk to the sea, with a lovely walk along the promenade to Westgate on Sea (took us an hour but we’re not fast walkers!)

The check-in was easy, good instructions. We didn\'t see any owners, just entered the property and this is it. Convenient. Room is good, big enough, has everything what you need. But I "met" a lot of spiders. And it was dusty. Kettle, in toilet. Maybe because twin-room isn\'t much popular and there weren\'t guests for a long time. But overall it was a nice stay.

The check-in was easy, good instructions. We didn\'t see any owners, just entered the property and this is it. Convenient. Room is good, big enough, has everything what you need. But I "met" a lot of spiders. And it was dusty. Kettle, in toilet. Maybe because twin-room isn\'t much popular and there weren\'t guests for a long time. But overall it was a nice stay.

It was a great place to stay, and in a very nice area. It was cleaned every day to a high standard and the only thing i didn't like was how dark the room was inside, i needed the light on even during the day most of the time. Other than that no other problems.

Bay Lodge was a lovely little find. Loved the quick and easy self service check in. Room was great with some nice touches (chocolates and biscuits) and plenty of tea, coffee, milk etc. Bed and pillows were amazing! Very comfy and fresh. Will definitely be booking again.

Lovely place to stay. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with amenities. This was a key box venue, (so no reception or check-in) so I never actually met the hosts or staff, so can't really comment on the service. However everything seemed well maintained and all information provided in the room. The only downside is the noise factor from other guests, which is not really the hosts fault. My room (The Becket) was downstairs right next to the front door of the property, which meant every time a quest arrived and punched in the code to their key box to get their keys, it felt like someone was knocking on my wall. When the guests entered, the front door slammed shut and this shook the wall and windows in my room. This can happen at any time during the night, so not great if you are a light sleeper, which I am not and it still woke me up. It is street parking and the location is lovely, just a short walk to the seafront with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby. I would recommend this place, just try and avoid the downstairs rooms if noise bothers you.

Excellent place and easy to find conveniently situated very close to the coast and easy access to Ramsgate. Great correspondence from owner with easy to follow instructions for access to lodge. Definitely recommended. Only criticism really was parking although it stated on the booking: Free offsite parking Free self parking on site Limited on-site self parking Difficult to ascertain actually where this was? You can work it out, but would be helpful if a little more detail was explained in the advertisement, as i personally make bookings based on parking arrangements, albeit not everyone does. Or at least corresponded from owner to client during the access dialogue in the future?

Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus.
