Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing setting. I cannot believe how affordable this was. The hotel doesn't currently have a dinner/hot food option but the continental breakfast was lovely, and being able to have drinks from the bar in front of the a cosy fire in a colossal inglenook fireplace was a highlight. Our room(s), a jack and jill family option was really comfy and incuded a Nespresso machine! The grounds were beautiful and everyone was so friendly; in fact the gardner gave us some great advice for connecting with nature - get your shoes and socks off and walk through the grass

Beautiful victorian manor house, renovated to a very high standard with modern touches in the room. We stayed in a spacious room on the first floor. Very beautiful room with many storage options, lovely view of the amazing garden, quiet & very comfortable. Excellent king-size bed. High speed internet throughout the hotel. Served continental breakfast. Easy parking on the grounds. Absolutely lovely staff (sent us a forgotten item via mail). Excellent location in the countryside with easy road connections to Conwy center of town. A find.

Very clean, impressive Hotel. Check in was easy and the room was very clean, the grounds definitely need to be walked to appreciate. The hotels flexible check in was also very welcome as we were travelling from Kent. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning here next time we visit family who are in the area.

This place is gorgeous! The family room for four worked brilliantly. A king for us a twin sofa bed for our boys and plenty of room. The grounds are stunning. There's easy parking at the front of the house. A lovely breakfast, but there is no other catering. We brought a packed dinner and ate it in the gorgeous lounge and had drinks from the bar. The games room was a super place to while away some time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we generally got fantastic service. It's pricey, but worth every penny. It's very close to Bodnant Gardens and Conwy, both of which we visited.

Wonderful historic building with beautiful interiors. The gardens were vast if you wanted a walk. Very kindly let me order room service. Great shower/toiletries/tea/coffee etc. business travel is rarely a treat but this one felt like a little mini break. Would definitely book again

Wow. A stunning hotel set in beautiful grounds. Our room was amazing and the bed ridiculously comfy. Don’t be put off by the only option of a continental breakfast - it was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! A couple of good pubs / restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. Conway is a short drive away as is Llandudno. We will definitely return.

I am a wildlife photographer and was looking for a hotel in North Wales which had the potential for some nice photos on its doorstep and it was just what I was looking for! The grounds were beautiful. Not only that, there are plenty of quiet spaces around inside near the bar area so I was able to have a peaceful drink while I edited my photos. The staff were all friendly and helpful and we were shown to our room on arrival. We had a classic double room which was a bit too small for our liking with a small window too which meant that the room got very warm in the night. We would upgrade to a bigger room next time, just something to bear in mind for those considering staying in summer.

Lovely building .. room was very smelly but hotel full. Was foisty and Cleary aware but the diffuser and window open did not abate the smell. Told reception who just said yes. No apology or statement to say they would address it. Shame as the place was nice and breakfast excellent even with no kitchen as closed for refurb.

The breakfast was the best continental breakfast we've ever had, loads of choice and again, quality locally sourced food. The staff were so welcoming. We'll return soon hopefully!

I booked this hotel because i prefer small, quiet hotels in the countryside. Caer Rhun, exceeded all of my expectations. The staff were friendly, food was amazing, hotels was clean, it was spacious but at the same time felt very warm and snug. This hotel deserves the 5 Star rating. I will definitely stay agian in the future.

The building has been beautifully refurbished with respect to the original architecture. Our room was small and rather quirky but we would definately book again but upgrade to a larger one if staying more than one night. The restuarant had only been open three weeks. The dinner menu was interesting and the dishes we chose were well presented and delicious.

Amazing stay, beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. We booked the hotel for a family trip to Snowdonia. We booked a larger room, which included two bedrooms and a Jack n Jill ensuite. The room was in the loft so very warm at night, we were provide with fans. Overall a lovely stay.

Very clean, impressive Hotel. Check in was easy and the room was very clean, the grounds definitely need to be walked to appreciate. The hotels flexible check in was also very welcome as we were travelling from Kent. Overall, would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning here next time we visit family who are in the area.

There is nothing I didn't like about this property. From the minute we checked in we were made to feel so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. The grounds were amazing, the property was stunning and the interior was so stylish. There was some confusion over my booking a week before we were due to stay and there were no rooms left. The manager kindly put us in the lodge which is a lot more expensive. It shouldnt have been dog friendly but he made an exception. They even brought us a box of treats with a toy for our dog! It's the small touches that make a holiday so special. I cannot believe this hotel is only 3 star and the rates so reasonable. It should be a 5 in my opinion. An amazing find and we will definitely be back!

Top class. Visited for the first time in 7 years. Will definitely be back again. Couldn't fault it to be fair. Staff couldn't do enough for us.

Staff avoided us even when our table had 14 empty glasses on it. But everyone else got table service. Couldn't book breakfast together even though we're all friends because we stayed in separate rooms lol awful service. Nice grounds overlooked by being ignored. Potato salad was well two small potatoes cut in half and half a rashers of bacon chopped into 4 bits. Food for our table come out at different times over ten mins from start to finish so some had finished before other started.

Beautiful victorian manor house, renovated to a very high standard with modern touches in the room. We stayed in a spacious room on the first floor. Very beautiful room with many storage options, lovely view of the amazing garden, quiet & very comfortable. Excellent king-size bed. High speed internet throughout the hotel. Served continental breakfast. Easy parking on the grounds. Absolutely lovely staff (sent us a forgotten item via mail). Excellent location in the countryside with easy road connections to Conwy center of town. A find.

The hotel is set in glorious grounds and woodlands and within easy reach of both Conwy and Betws-y-Coed. The room was clean and comfortable and the continental breakfast was excellent, including cold meats, cheese, smoked salmon....more than enough!

Don’t be put off by the only option of a continental breakfast - it was the best hotel breakfast we have ever had! A couple of good pubs / restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. Conway is a short drive away as is Llandudno. We will definitely return.

Such a beautiful hotel in an amazing setting. I cannot believe how affordable this was. The hotel doesn't currently have a dinner/hot food option but the continental breakfast was lovely, and being able to have drinks from the bar in front of the a cosy fire in a colossal inglenook fireplace was a highlight. Our room(s), a jack and jill family option was really comfy and incuded a Nespresso machine! The grounds were beautiful and everyone was so friendly; in fact the gardner gave us some great advice for connecting with nature - get your shoes and socks off and walk through the grass

The hotel was absolutely outstanding. The staff couldn't have been more pleasant and the whole ambience is class. I only dropped a point for facilities as the kitchen isn't complete yet so no supper available on site

Breathtaking hotel! We've just enjoyed a 3 night stay at Caer Rhun Hall. Everything was faultless, the room was clean and spacious, quality fixtures and fittings and amazing views. The breakfast was the best continental breakfast we've ever had, loads of choice and again, quality locally sourced food. The staff were so welcoming. We'll return soon hopefully!

I had an amazing stay. The place is very beautiful, the rooms are clean and spacious and the staff members are very friendly. Big thank you to the gentleman who served food for myself and my friends after the restaurant was closed. You definitely made us feel so welcomed. I am so sad that I didn’t get your name, but I remember you saying that you started quite recently and moved from the South. Thank you again for everything.

Lovely short break, with a great room made for a very relaxing time. Sun downers in the garden enjoying this amazing summer with an ice cold drink an added bonus. Not forgetting the swing under the huge tree, great fun.

Shower tray mould, was removed when we made a complaint, but should not of been in such a bad state. Watch for hinden costs for having a dog £25 per night.

The setting of the hotel was stunning, and the grounds provided a beautiful backdrop. We stayed in the annexe (a building separate from the main hotel), and unfortunately it wasn't a great experience. The room was very small, with only a tiny window that could be opened - this meant that the room was hot and stuffy, and whilst there was a fan in the room, it tended to move hot air around rather than cool the room. At first glance, the facilities looked lovely, but on closer inspection there were numerous scuffs, scratches and broken fixtures. There was a space for a fridge, but no fridge, an ironing board but no iron, and the TV didn't work properly. The bed was made each day and the cups were replaced, but our towels and used glasses were not refreshed during our four-day stay. The Australian gentleman working behind the bar was fantastic: professional, friendly and welcoming. However, other areas of the hotel, particularly the restaurant, appeared to be short-staffed, which negatively affected the overall experience. Food service in both the bar and main restaurant was only available on certain days and at limited times. Given the hotel's remote location, and the lack of a fridge in some rooms, this proved quite inconvenient. If you're planning to visit the local area via a taxi, e.g., Conwy, be aware that this can be expensive. We paid £35 for a one-way journey back to the hotel. Overall, the setting wasn't enough to outweigh the issues we experiened during our stay.
