We came of course to fish and the property amenities were helpful! The fish cleaning house is well maintained and open by key card 24hrs so we had some late nights and it was great to get it all done. There is adequate parking for boats and trailers and electric at the poles for charging boats (bring your electric cords). The continental breakfast was average and open at 6am, but not well stocked to keep up with the guests. We stayed 4 nights and did not have our room serviced but this may be protocol and it was fine for us as we were on the lake anyway. We did use the pool and whirlpool one time and both were small but functional. There is a for purchase snack bar and some frozen pizza options to cook onsite. A small lounge is available nightly until 11:30pm. There is also a fitness room which is not in their amenities description. This hotel is on the edge of the town and within walking distance to a gas station and Burger King, Walmart is across the highway. As far as the bed and pillows- they seemed at the end of their lifespan, but it is also an affordable price overall for the amenities.

This hotel is great. Nice staff, bottled water in workout room, hot breakfast, and last but not leasr, a bar/lounge open from 4:30-11:30. It was so nice to have a cocktail after a long day! I would stay here again.

Stellar site, room was comfy and clean. Staff went above and beyond to answer questions and resolve empty coffee pots during a busy breakfast rush. There is parking for vehicles with trailers for fishermen to relax. There is also a doggo kennel and a fish cleaning house for those who are lucky enough to have a good day on the water. Being right across from Walmart was helpful as well as being very close to amazing food. We would stay here again when we are in the area.

Could be fresher better food . Not very appetizing . No meat 2nd morning and powdered dry eggs . Our door cards wouldn’t work several times . Get up to our room and couldn’t get it to go .Several times for both of us . The lounge closed at 1000pm New Year’s Eve night . We were there for 2 nights in motel with 2 other couples this was very unhandy with a night to be together . Then we check in 1st day no tv and told won’t be on till Friday and we arrived Tuesday . Wasn’t the best stay this time ! Lots of things that could have been avoided and fixed !

Hot tub under repair, tv with no internet, shower head leaking up!housekeepers kept knocking even when I left instruction at front desk that we needed to sleep in daytime-we work overnights. Manager never called me in the 3 days I stayed here after leaving multiple messages.

Staff was friendly and our room was clean. The hotel in general was clean except for the pool and hot tub. The furnace in the pool room broke, which was out of their control, but when they opened it back up, the jets for the hot tub didnt work nor was the filter working, so there was hair, bugs, fuzz, etc. floating around in the hot tub. Pool water was too cold so we didn't go in it, but it was visibly dirty as well. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay.

When we checked in the team member at the front was pleasant and let us know about the amenities of the hotel. Upon arriving to our room, there were footprints or sticky something all over the windows. The bathroom floor was extremely sticky so we actually used a washcloth and hot water to clean it ourselves, and the washcloth was filthy when we were done. there was also hair in the bathtub like it had not actually been cleaned. We did let them know at the front desk anbout the condition of the room and they did send someone up who cleaned the window and the bathroom, however no discount was offered so that was a little disappointing. We have stayed there many times before with no issues so hoping this was a rare occurrence.

I realy enjoy my stay. It was quite and clean but the only thing i think it needs to change is the beds because it makes so much noise (too much squeeze ). Other than that every things were fine.

The place is ok. Sucks that breakfast is free but is on weekend and is 6-9. We got up at 8:30 and didn’t make it to get breakfast. Wish they had it till 10. Kinda of noisy since the place is next to gas station and truck stop too. Otherwise the room is good.

There was no staff at the front desk when we arrived. We waited 10 minutes until someone came from a back room. A room was not ready for us until 45 minutes past the 3:00 check-in time. Rooms are average and serve the purpose for a simple overnight stay. Breakfast is decent with a nice variety.

The rooms were clean and the hotel was in new condition. The breakfast was not keep up, there were shortages of everything, the coffee was always out. The overnight staff member was sleeping when we made a pizza

Hot tub under repair, tv with no internet, shower head leaking up!housekeepers kept knocking even when I left instruction at front desk that we needed to sleep in daytime-we work overnights. Manager never called me in the 3 days I stayed here after leaving multiple messages.

Had a good nights sleep. The staff allowed us to utilize a room for a potluck dinner after a funeral. That was very nice of them.

We came of course to fish and the property amenities were helpful! The fish cleaning house is well maintained and open by key card 24hrs so we had some late nights and it was great to get it all done. There is adequate parking for boats and trailers and electric at the poles for charging boats (bring your electric cords). The continental breakfast was average and open at 6am, but not well stocked to keep up with the guests. We stayed 4 nights and did not have our room serviced but this may be protocol and it was fine for us as we were on the lake anyway. We did use the pool and whirlpool one time and both were small but functional. There is a for purchase snack bar and some frozen pizza options to cook onsite. A small lounge is available nightly until 11:30pm. There is also a fitness room which is not in their amenities description. This hotel is on the edge of the town and within walking distance to a gas station and Burger King, Walmart is across the highway. As far as the bed and pillows- they seemed at the end of their lifespan, but it is also an affordable price overall for the amenities.

Stellar site, room was comfy and clean. Staff went above and beyond to answer questions and resolve empty coffee pots during a busy breakfast rush. There is parking for vehicles with trailers for fishermen to relax. There is also a doggo kennel and a fish cleaning house for those who are lucky enough to have a good day on the water. Being right across from Walmart was helpful as well as being very close to amazing food. We would stay here again when we are in the area.

The place is ok. Sucks that breakfast is free but is on weekend and is 6-9. We got up at 8:30 and didn’t make it to get breakfast. Wish they had it till 10. Kinda of noisy since the place is next to gas station and truck stop too. Otherwise the room is good.

When we checked in we were informed there was no hot water. We elected to stay anyway. The night clerk Brooke did offer us a refund but we chose to stay. Bed was comfortable. Room was good! Next am went down for breakfast— the guy who was supposed to be doing breakfast had disappeared, there was no hot food, out of coffee after I got 1/2 cup and clotted icky cream. Disgusting! We talked to the front desk and she just shrugged! Very disappointed!!! Would NOT stay here again!!

Nice hotel. Not fancy but had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a little disappointing as hot items were luke warm but non hot items were tasty and a pretty good variety.

We’ve had good experiences in the past, but this one was just lacking on every aspect. My showers were warm, but my husband’s were not. Breakfast was good the first two days, but by Sunday they were out of milk, waffle mix, pastries and cream for the coffee. The carpet baseboard was coming off the wall. The floor length mirror was off the wall and setting on the floor. The work ethic of some of the employees was nonexistent. When we asked about the milk, for example, the person said they went through two gallons and were out. How about take some initiative, solve the problem, and run across the street to Walmart and buy a gallon or two and put into the cooler? Workers didn’t seem to be in a hurry to help the patrons at the front desk, in the lounge or to restock breakfast. We were both disappointed. We stay in Devils Lake pretty frequently, but won’t be staying at the Cobblestone again any time soon.

Staffs overall blamed staffs for foods running out, and guests not being served food appropriately. When we arrived at the hotel, there was no coffee in our room. When I went to the front desk for coffee, my wife inspected the coffee maker to make sure all parts were working. She found used grounds in the coffee maker from the previous occupant of the room. In the morning, we went to get coffee in the lobby and it was out. The main coffee maker was broken and the staff did not know when it would be fixed. When returning to our room, we tried to latch the door but a screw fell out of the latch assembly and the latch just swung around. I reported this to the front desk and it was never resolved. The pool was closed and would not reopen during our stay. In the evening, the onsite bar was also closed and when I went to ask the front desk, no one was there. I waited about 5 minutes but saw no one. I do not recommend this hotel.
