Only needing a stay from midnight to 0700. Room was clean and convenient off the interstate. Able to park right outside the door.

The hotel was very nice. A little old but still very nice. the staff was very helpful and friendly. Our room had a king size bed and the room was big. Lots of space to open our 2 suitcases and leave them open. We had a table with 2 chairs and another chair for relaxing in. It is important to know that the rooms here do not come with a microwave or a coffee maker, although they do have a fairly large fridge. I was told you can get hot water at the front desk at any time and they do serve coffee in the morning. Also take note that the one side of the hotel faces the highway so it is noisy. Maybe the back would be better.

You're staying here because it is cheap and convenient, not because you're looking for a 4-star hotel. Of the cheap roadside hotels in this vicinity, this appears to be the best of the bunch. But remember why you chose this level of accommodations. You're not looking for breakfast in bed, a business center, gym or day spa. You're in and out in a matter of hours with a clean and secure place to brush your teeth, shower, etc. The staff was polite, friendly and accommodative. Check in was fast and easy. The room(s) are clean. But it is what it is; a cheap place to sleep for the night, shower, brush your teeth; and be back on the road in the morning. Albeit highway adjacent, the noise level was not bothersome. I stayed in a room that was offset to the highway and could not hear any traffic whatsoever. Parking in the front of the building is where you want to park and the 24 hr. on-duty hotel staff was glad to accommodate my request. Parking on the sides, or at the rear, of the building is asking for a vehicle break in. This is not a Camelot hotel issue or the hotel's fault. This is just a sad sign of the times today with drugged-out street people on the loose with no consequences for their actions or crimes on society. And it is not limited to just this area or Amarillo, TX, so my "less than average" rating is more of a reflection of much of the USA than it is of the Camelot hotel, and/or its location. My stay was as expected and pleasant.

It was a short one night stay on my trip back to Colorado Springs. The hotel was a bit out dated, but generally clean, quiet, and comfortable. Spacious and pet friendly. Of course it has room to improve, but with price so ideal lets not be so unrealistic.

On first night there was a long black hair at the shower end of tub. The outside door must be dead bolted on this room as the lock on door knob does not work. There are no microwaves in room. The pool is permanently closed. The AC unit did not cool the room sufficiently. Otherwise my stay there was as good as usual.

Clean with friendly staff. Not the newest facility but dog friendly. Dated look it I would stay again

There's a fridge. There's no microwave in the room, but the accommodating staff will provide one on request. There's no breakfast and there's no coffee in the room, but morning coffee is provided in the common area. Pretty good value in my book.

Do not stay here. I repeat do not stay here you will thank me later. This was disgusting and had blood on mattress and holes in the wall. I though ceiling would cave in. Slept with clothes on and showered with flip flops on. If we didnt just drive 12 hours and arrived at 1130pm we would have left. Kept luggage in car and a towel on the bed. Do not stay!!!!!!! Looks nothing like pictures.

This is my go-to place to stop when traveling several times a year between Arizona and Ohio. It is a no-frills, somewhat outdated property, but I always find it to be clean & comfortable, with a home-like feeling. I like having room access between both the hallway and my parking spot right outside! I also appreciate being able to bring my dog along for the night's rest. I'll be back again & again!

The outside of the Hotel looks nice, but inside the room was run down and outdated. The ceiling was coming apart and the shower head was barely hanging on. There was also mold where the ceiling had leaked and was coming apart.

The property is pretty dated. For a place to sleep only it was good. However there is a smell in the hallway as soon as you enter and in the room that smells like a nursing home and hospital. If I had to stay more than one day I wouldn’t have been able to do it. Other than that my stay was great.

For an overnight stay this was adequate. The beds are hard. I found a cup of water in the room which I disposed of.

This hotel cracked me up. It’s definitely older. The decor is wildly outdated in a charming way. Beds were definitely spring-y. It was clean, low-cost, and the staff was proactive and kind. I accidentally booked a smoking room and they fixed it before I even asked them to when they saw we had kids. A great low-cost option when you need a place to sleep.

For the dollars spent a good value. The freeway noise is pretty intense, bring your own white-noise, AC units dp not let run a contins fan mode to help dull the freeway

I found hair on the pillow leading me to believe the bedding had not been changed. The mattress was very old, had a big depression in it and lacked enough padding to mot feel the springs.

Very cool property, unique design. Doors on inside and outside. Decor is original 1973. Totally recommend for a nice stay

I like the way the property looks; looks like a castle, it's really cool. The rooms are very large: it's not like other hotels that have a bed squeezed in a small room with a tiny bathroom; you can barely turn around without bumping into the sink or toilet. Camelot's bathroom layout allows you to open/close the door normally; you don't have to contort your body to get in or out the door. The staff's great and I didn't have any problem with noise or other guests. I wàs able to come in and out of my room when I wanted. The card keys worked well. The rate was somewhat expensive for me; but overall I liked my stay.

The hotel is quite old and you can tell. I was looking for an inexpensive and safe place to stay a few days. This place was exactly what I needed. The staff I interacted with were great. The room was large and comfortable. If I’m in a similar situation in Amarillo I’ll de staying at Camelot.

Reservation, check in, very friendly attendant, cleanliness. Everything worked out well. A special mention to the attendant, who was super helpful in taking care of and returning something I forgot in the room.

This is a great value for a quick stay on the road… The front desk staff was really helpful and making sure that I had a nice comfortable room… And I appreciate that!

Gal at front desk was rude. This is the 3rd time I’ve stayed here, due to traveling with 2 dogs. I was never charged for them before. She wanted $10 each. I told her I would leave them in the trailer, that they were in while traveling, as it was padlocked. She said I couldn’t leave them unattended. Gracious, they’re ranch dogs, accustomed, and acclimated. House trained, quiet, obedient. I paid her the $20. I asked for a bottom floor, quiet room. She gave me a room at the front corner, next to I-40. Wow, was it noisy. I should have went back and requested a different room. I was tired, and had just driven over 700 miles, pulling a stock trailer. The room had prior damage, which I photographed, so they wouldn’t try to blame me. The gentleman at the desk, the next morning, was pleasant. I won’t be staying there again…..

Good value for the $. Kind of a sketchy place right off of i40. Lots of people walkin by rooms outside late at night. A/c did what it could but struggled.

Location right at busy hwy but was ok for 1 night. Room normal.

We stayed in Room 125 on 10/18/2023; $52.48 for the night. Very welcoming gentleman at the front desk. You key card into the hallway from the parking lot, then into your room, which has door to the parking lot. The room was huge and probably 1980s vintage but I love funky! It had only a fridge - no coffee or microwave. The bed was very comfortable but the pillows not as much. The room was a kaleidoscope painted orange, yellow and green. I dug it! Know that there's traffic noise since it's off I-40. There was no need for soap because the shower pressure will beat off your entire biome! Grade A.

I was able to get a smoking room and there was plenty of parking. Also not a noisy hotel.

This was delightful stay! I loved the theme and I had no idea that the hotel looks just like a castle! It delighted my inner child! Check-in was simple and easy. Staff was friendly. Very convenient location off of I-40. It was quiet and comfortable.

For the price was clean and everything worked. Even the morning coffee was exceptionally goog.

The hotel is not new but seems to be well maintained, I had no issues with the room and accomodations, they have a small fridge that was very useful to me. No microwave is provided. I liked this hotel for the price I paid.
