Il-Logga Boutique Hotel

Lovely boutique hotel, helpful staff and good breakfast served to your table. Swimming pool on the roof was great to come back to after a day exploring. Car is recommended and easy as they drive on the same side as UK

Perfekt utgangspunkt for et opphold på Gozo så lenge du ikke forventer en strand rett ved! Vi var her 8 dager i juli. Utmerket frokost med (for) store porsjoner. Anbefaler havregrøten som var den beste jeg har smakt! Greit utvalg, men kunne ha vært litt mer grønnsaker tilgjengelig. Kun stekte tomater, og ingen rå grønnsaker som f.eks. agurk. Vi spiste middag der flere ganger, og kan anbefale restauranten også. Hotellet har et utmerket lite basseng på taket som aldri var overfylt. Vanligvis var vi nesten alene, og det var aldri trøbbel med å få solseng. Flere greie restauranter på torget ved kirken. De var under 10 minutter unna til fots. Det er også i gangavstand til Ggigantja, som sies å være eldre enn både pyramidene og Stonehenge. Det er en liten dagligvarebutikk 5 minutter unna, og en større ca. 10 minutter unna. Vi fant ikke mange andre butikker der, men Victoria er ikke langt unna (ca.10 min med taxi). Der er mulighetene større. For å komme deg hit fra flyplassen, anbefales Fast ferry fra Valetta til Gozo. Booking online fungerte utmerket! Prisen var 7,50 € per vei. Ca 15 minutter med taxi på begge sider. Vil man ta ferje, så går den døgnet rundt, men da måtte i alle fall vi ta taxi ca 55 minutter (og det ble dyrere). Godt mulig det finnes busser. Vi sjekket ikke det, men fikk anbefalt å skaffe busskort (finnes for flere dager). Lett tilgjengelig både Uber, Bolt og taxi. Anbefaler å bestille en «guidet» taxitur på øya, da man får sett mer enn med hop-on-hop-off

Hotel excellent only problem was limit with people in pool (6 people only!) & when you have the Maltese families over at the weekends you don’t get chance to use the pool area

Can’t fault it - a little gem

We stayed in July 2026 for a week and had room number 11 on the same level as the rooftop pool. The balcony was very spacious with two loungers and table and chairs. Lovely view towards Marsalforn and the sea beyond. The room was a good size and well equipped with a kettle and coffee machine. Tea bags and instant coffee replenished each day and two coffee pods to start you off with more available at 60 cents from the bar. Breakfast is 4 items from a pre-select list which you fill in the day before which includes 5 different types of egg, cereal, fresh fruit, bacon, sausages, pastries etc. Loads of choice and we found the portion sizes very generous. Toast and marmalade etc is also included as well as the four items. The location is perfect for getting around the island, there is a regular bus service through Xaghra although the bus stop next to the hotel was out of use when we were there due to adjustments to the bus route because of roadworks elsewhere in the village. Bolts are also easy and cheap. There is a small shop 2 minutes walk away selling most of the everyday things you might need, and a pharmacy nearby too. The main square is approx 5-10 minutes walk and has a few restaurants and bars. We ate in a different one each night and found the food excellent in all. Special mention for "73 In The Square", no food but great for a drink - lovely, hospitable owners. I would definitely recommend Il Logga, great place to stay in a superb location.
