Physical plant is disappointing. Lodging reached only by narrow dim staircase. Rooms facing front exposed to busy highway with noise all night long. Management seems focused on fine dining area and staff not concerned with lodgers. Try known brands in town.

Lovely grounds. Historic building so room was a bit small. Bathroom was clean, good shower, towels, and amenities. I appreciated the coffee and pastry in the morning and the bottles of water. Road noise was substantial as it’s on a trucking route. Husband complained that the bed was too soft. Personally, I didn’t notice. I didn’t see an ice machine. That would have been helpful. There was a croquet set and horseshoes. I was interested in playing but ended up falling asleep. It was a long day on the road.
