Hotel Mono

For the price, this is a good option in Singapore. It is a barebones hotel in Chinatown and very close to lots of public transit and walking distance to a lot of options. I was in a room overlooking Mosque St and if you don't need total silence to sleep, then you'll be fine. The staff was a bit all over the place, some very welcoming, others were cold. At the end of the day, this is the choice because you want something cheap, clean, smaller, and in a great location.

Zimmer war top. Personal sehr freundlich. Lage ist Spitze. Die einzigen Dinge, die wir verbesserungsbedürftig fanden, waren (i) dass es keinen abschließbaren Gepäckraum gab und (ii) dass es keinen Auftenthaltsraum / bereich gab, in dem man warten/essen/trinken/arbeiten konnte. Gerade wenn man - wie wir - frühmorgens in Singapur landet und erst 15 Uhr einchecken kann, hat es an beiden Dinge gefehlt.

Cool little hotel. Rooms of a good size and well appointed. Needs a kick of paint her and there, but this is just a sign of a busy hotel lol...

As others have commented, in real life it doesn’t match the pictures. Overall it looks tired and needs a fresh coat of paint. I slept well, the room was quiet and dark, although you do hear others coming and going, but that wasn’t a problem as I was at the far end and therefore only heard my neighbours when they entered their room. There is a small fridge and tea/coffee making, but no other services available. You are either stuck in room, or have to go to other premises to sit, relax or eat. Would I stay again? Probably not, as I like to have breakfast and decent coffee first thing, without going out.

Clean enough, walkable. Not the greatest facilities but if you don’t spend a lot of time in the hotel it is fine. Good amenities too

とにかく立地が良いので、どこに行くのも徒歩圏内でした。マリーナベイ・サンズもシティホールもブギスもちょっと遠かったけどムスタファセンターも徒歩で行けました。徒歩でなくてもチャイナタウン駅が近いく、路線バスも充実しているので公共交通機関利用でどこでも行けます。 ホテルはショップハウス形式ですがエレベーターもあり荷物が大きくても大丈夫。 ハウスキーピングも入りますし、連日水が２本ずつ冷蔵庫に追加されていきました。 シャンプー、ボディソープ、歯ブラシ、綿棒、シャワーキャップ、カミソリなどが透明ポーチに入って洗面に置かれていました。 部屋内の灯りはスイッチが分散していて、消すのに苦労しましたが、たいした問題ではありません。 近隣には肉骨茶で有名な松發やマクスウェルフードセンターも近いので食事にも困りません。

Great location. It can be loud outside and rooms can use some updates and maintenance.

As much as the room look like on the picture, once you're there it's more the feeling of being in a modern monastery room or in a jail cell. There are much better boutique hotels with a real character in Singapore for the same budget. But location is very convenient (very close from Metro Station "Chinatown")

Its no frill place. Very convenient to many walkable destinations in Chinatown areas. Very quite overral. Great service and efficient desk. Will recommend.

The hotel was conveniently located in Chinatown. The room was not as clean as expected however the biggest complaint is that we had to wait for the front desk staff member to show up. This took about 20 minutes but after that everything was smooth,

The drain in the shower room was clogged. It was not remedied when I returned to the hotel after ordering it cleaned. But other than that, it was a very nice hotel.

バスルームの排水口に残っていた大量の髪の毛以外、とても便利で快適に過ごすことが出来ました。

A good location. But the room was very humid and stank of bleach. There was mould around the corners of the bathroom. The pictures look better than the property actually is.

Any more than one night and I'd have checked out and moved hotels. Room cleanliness needs work. Black mould around bathroom window frame Bathroom.smelled mouldy. Air conditioning dirty and dusty. Bathroom was barely accessible due to toilet placement. Unable to close door without standing over it. Bed was ok. Firm and a bit lumpy. Room was pretty noise, could hear everything in common areas, people walking around etc. Reception was very blunt, did not make me feel welcome, simply barked 500 orders at me asking me to sign multiple documents agreeing to random policies which weren't well explained. The only redeeming quality is the location. It's ultra close to MRT, shops and restaurants. I wouldn't stay here again or recommend staying here to others.

The Hotel is in a good location and the staff are friendly and attentive. Sadly, the rooms are tired and the furniture is poor. The bedframe and chair had multiple sharp edges which made it a hazard to navigate the small room wearing shorts. The one chair in the room was unusable with bare legs. The bathroom sink was blocked and, when I cleared it with an old toothbrush, I retrieved a mass of oily hair and elastics. Certainly this could have been addressed when the room was prepared. The sheets were not changed daily, even when requested, and the quality of the linen and blankets is poor and they have obviously been used many times. The toilet had a slow leak around the base (ugh) and I had to keep a towel in place to contain the leakage. The TV had no signal when I arrived and, when I looked behind to check the connection, I discovered multiple generations of dusk-bunnies had taken up residence. The staff corrected the TV problem promptly but the dirt left a bad impression. I didn’t expect luxury but was disappointed with the dirt and the dangerously sharp furniture. I would not return to this venue as the price is too high to allow for the shortcomings. I would pay a few dollars more for more modern and better maintained hotels in the same area.

写真と違いとても狭い部屋でした。エアコンがボタンを押しても切れず、温度調節もできずかなり寒かったです。２日目にようやく、カードキーを抜いて部屋全体の電源を消して寝ました。その間は充電ができず不便でした。。。

The room that was given to us was so tiny, almost we can say it didn’t had a window (very silly one opening to a shaft with no much light and sharing with other room or whatever room). Bathroom is not much clean. AC unit is old. No breakfast and for something like this it felt really pricey. In Chinatown. However would never come again. Don’t let the nice mono color photos deceive you as it did to me

It was surprisingly quiet from outside noise for such a busy area - but I had a room in the back of the building, not on the street side. The biggest challenge was the lack of soundproofing, but that's to be expected with an older building.

The room was extremely noisy - 1) there was some machine (outdoor AC unit?) running extremely loudly during the night, 2) the AC within the room was broken and it was making some cracking sounds whole night. I didn't sleep at all. Not exactly great experience when you're on business trip and come to the hotel in the middle of the night after long flight. I will not stay again under any circumstances.

Noisy night as garbage trucks collect garbage from restaurants nearby especially glass bottles at 1am plus. The sound proofing of the room was so how bad that we can hear clearly what was going on. Just an average hotel.

Les fenêtres et les volets ne pouvaient pas se fermer correctement. Il y avait du coup beaucoup de bruit et de lumières. Aussi pas de meubles pour ranger ses affaires. Le côté positif est que l'hôtel est relativement central.

하수구냄새도 너무 나고 방음도 전혀 안됨 위치가 좋은거말고는 진짜 별로임..

Close to MRT stations for the Harbour Front and Marina Bay. Walking distance to shops and dining. Only negative is thin walls so a lot of noise is heard through them. Would stay here again though, friendly staff, very clean and good location.

Small units but convenient location.

At night and early morning there are a lot noise. Can’t be sure from what, trolley noises, banging noises

I recently experienced an issue during check-out at your hotel that I’d like to bring to your attention. I requested an additional 30 minutes to check out (from 12:00 to 12:30) due to a business meeting, but my request was denied. While I understand policies may vary, I was disappointed with the way the situation was handled—it felt neither professional nor polite. As a returning guest who has stayed at your hotel three times, I had higher expectations for the level of service. This experience left me feeling undervalued as a loyal guest. I hope this feedback helps improve future interactions with guests in similar situations.

予定より早くチェックインさせて頂き、朝、預けておいた荷物も部屋まで運んでおいてくれました。部屋には水のペットボトルも用意してあり、サービス的には大満足でした。

駅に近くロケーションは最高。部屋もクリーンでスタッフも親切。深夜のチェックイン、アウトもスムーズですた。

Uncooerative male receptionist,ASfter reporting faulty A/c went storming of to my to A/c pumping at the remote said its ok now & took off,after 1 hr still only around 18cWent backto receptionsaid not staying in room any longer,he then got someone to turn it off.i agree to stay that nite then changed to a nice room all good after that

飯店與地鐵站只隔一條街，非常便利

Good location to MRT station, shopping complex, hawker centres, local attractions.

Short walk to Chinatown or Maxwell stations. Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Not a fan of how busy this location gets particularly at night. All the noise from the restaurants makes its way to the room even with the windows closed. In addition, the nightly collection of rubbish and bottles makes it tough to get a good nights sleep. Can easily be solved with ear plugs.

Third stay at Hotel Mono, convenient to everything.

You can hear people talking on the street and garbage pickup at midnight was very loud!! Excellent location though. Walkable to everywhere.
