My wife & I really liked our stay. We will stay again. Bed was comfortable. Restroom was spacious. Walking distance to good restaurants/bars. Parking is first come, first serve.

It was great! Very clean!! The front staff woman was the nicest person ever! So amiable and kind. Check in was easy. Room was very clean. Pool was great. We also found a place where we could watch sundown and put our chairs out; you could also fish and it was only a 2 min walk. So beautiful. Definitely returning

Memorial Day prices were ridiculous for this hotel. We booked 2 rooms, both seemed ok at first. One of the rooms had filthy towels, and the pillows on the bed had other people's hair which meant they did not change pillowcases. It is known for hotels only to do only a quick sweep in between guests, so at the sign of any dirtiness on the bed, rest assured it is one of those hotels. The other room wasn't as bad but it did also have dirty towels and there were mosquitoes all night long. Overall, the staff was friendly and the rooms were very modern, and the stay would've been great if it weren't for the cleanliness. I recommend asking for clean sheets and towels at the front desk if you plan to stay here.

Pros: I love the location of this hotel and the well lit parking lot. Pillows were great. :) Rooms are sound proof which is great with all the night life happening. Cons: TERRIBLE towels. The worst ive ever used. Please upgrade them. If anything needs upgrading this is it!! The bathroom wasnt cleaned very well. Toilet and shower needed a wipe down. Sink needed a cover over the drain, which was missing and smelt a little bad. :(

I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the room. As soon as you walk in- it smells clean unlike a lot of other places I’ve stayed at. The check in was fast and the sweet lady at the counter was very nice and courteous. My family loved it. We will def stay there again.

There were no drawers to unpack in. Just hooks on the wall. The tub was slippery when showering. There was no flat surface on one side of the bed to put necessary items on. There were no tissues in the room.

Excellent location. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. I had no issues with noisy people even though there was loud music coming from the place behind it, you couldn't here the music in the room The only thing I didn't like was it didn't have a coffee pot in the room. They had coffee at front desk, but it never is as fresh as having it in your room. I did not give less stars because of this as most places don't have a coffee maker in the rooms anymore. I definitely would stay here again.

The hotel itself was very good considering the low price we paid. Amenities were in great condition, no defects. The areas around the hotel were all at a walkable distance which was great because we didn’t have to use our car much. Only downside was the bedding was uncomfortable and scratchy, would recommend bringing your own blankets.

Nice place friendly staff only issue is the ac wasn’t the best room wouldn’t cool down at all not even at night. It’s stated the rooms are sound proof but not so much from the upstairs called and complained that people staying above us had kids running back and forth stomping around dragging the chair around until 12/1 in the morning for 2 days in row, not sure if they asked them to quite down or not but shortly after complaining the stomping seemed to get worst purposefully. Good atmosphere wouldn’t mind staying here again

You get what you pay for. We had very noisy upstairs neighbors that seemed like they were moving furniture around all night. We had a late check in and the front desk made it very difficult to check in because their “system” had a temporary hold on the Expedia reservation after I had called that morning to verify everything was good to go. I literally had to get our Expedia agent on the phone to walk the front desk person on how to except the funds from Expedia. It literally took him one hour to get us our room after we arrived at midnight tired from our 6 hour drive. The towels were gym towels. And they had no do not disturb signs so house keeping went into our room everyday without our permission. Overall the location is great. The inn is mid and I probably would not stay there again.

We checked out and on our way home my wife had forgotten a pareo so I called the hotel and told them and they called the cleaning staff to check our room and they called me back and told me it would be at the front desk so we could pickup any time so we went back and picked it up definitely our place to stay again

It has been a great stay! Establishment is clean and welcoming. Location and value are phenomenal. Kim the owner is very hospitable and friendly. The housekeeping as well. This location is a 4 minute walk to the Beach and near good food, shops and conveniences such as CVS.

It has been a great stay! Establishment is clean and welcoming. Location and value are phenomenal. Kim the owner is very hospitable and friendly. The housekeeping as well. This location is a 4 minute walk to the Beach and near good food, shops and conveniences such as CVS.

Loved the location! It’s a simple hotel but squeaky clean with a super friendly staff! It’s located close to so many great south Padre bars, restaurants and live music! I loved the location so close to the beach and it I had a car it would have been a breeze to park near my room. And I can’t say enough about the caring and friendly staff. They clearly take pride in their jobs.

The staff was friendly and super helpful. My room was very quiet and safe and on Fri night had an amazing view of the fireworks over the bay. Easy walk to pretty much anything. Would definitely stay here again

My sons and I enjoyed our stay. What it lack’s in amenities, it makes up for it with awesome staff. There is no breakfast, but my youngest went to the office every morning and made me coffee.

Excellent location. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. I had no issues with noisy people even though there was loud music coming from the place behind it, you couldn't here the music in the room The only thing I didn't like was it didn't have a coffee pot in the room. They had coffee at front desk, but it never is as fresh as having it in your room. I did not give less stars because of this as most places don't have a coffee maker in the rooms anymore. I definitely would stay here again.

I have always like staying here on my visits. Not sure what change, all of a sudden now I guess policy changed that they are charging for parking when I guess back then it was included with the stay. One of the things that we did not like about the stay this time. For some reason Saturday afternoon there was no more hot water. That’d because it did not look busy to say. Sunday morning comes along and still no hot or warm water. I had to shower with cold water. Kim in the front she is great, very informative. Just not sure why the sudden change in parking and the hot water as well. Never had that issue before in my stay at the lighthouse inn.
