Duisdale hotel is a small boutique establishment. Each room has its own personality. Lovely chandeliers, very nice canopy bed in one of our three rooms. Service seemed stretched a bit thin, but staff was pleasant. Property had excellent water view!

Excellent boutique hotel! Fantastic restaurant, cozy bar, lovely grounds, professional and kind staff. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, with a small view of the water. Modern bathroom. No elevator but staff will help with luggage. A great breakfast in their dining room is included. They should swap out small complimentary toiletries for more eco-friendly supplies, but nothing would stop us from staying there again or highly recommending it. We’d like to live there ;-)

We had a really lovely room, spacious, warm, together with a large modern bathroom. We ate a.meal the first night, it was okay but not wonderful. Very poor vegetables and expensive at a set price £38.00 each. Add on expensive wine, a very ordinary one. The bar was nice with a fire, but again prices in the bar on the high side Overall ,the accomodation and breakfasts were good, but the dinner could be improved. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and the setting around the hotel lovely.

Very very lovely place. The hotel Itself was beautiful and cozy. Good sized rooms with water and coffee freely available. The staff was great (manager while I visited was Sean). Very attentive and helpful. The place was maybe a touch too romantic for a father-son trip - but that we made do. Wonderful to sit in their lounge or small bar area and have a few local drinks.

We stayed two nights at Duisdale and it was a very pleasant time. The staff were courteous, happy to help and knowledgeable. The view was stunning around the grounds. My partner and I brought our dog and they made Cleo very welcome. Finally, the food was excellent.

Building initially looked a little tired however the interior couldn’t be faulted. Very modern, clean and stylish. Comfortable. Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate. Only downside was the dinner menu, trying way too hard to be posh. Needs regular food being served

Nice boutique hotel that is close/convenient to/from Skye bridge but far from attractions. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was very good for a hotel. Beds were very comfortable. A trifle expensive compared to other nicer hotels we stayed at.

The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Although there were six other rooms on our floor, it was very quiet. The breakfast they served in the restaurant on the ground floor was amazing and delicious. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying on the Isle of Skye.

The only reasons I couldn’t give this property 5 stars is due to the spiders in the rooms, and the prices vs quality of the food served in the restaurant downstairs. It’s, by far, one of the most spectacular house hotels we’ve ever stayed at in terms of beauty, comfort, and location. But when you wake up to find a squashed spider on your pillow (which you likely accidentally killed in your sleep -yes there was bug juice on the pillow too), it makes you question a few things. I told the nice blonde girl that works at the front desk and she had someone turn over our room right away. Did I sleep with one eye open that night anyway? I did :( Anyway, I think that a bit of fumigation tactics will clean the place right up. We also paid for breakfast to be included in our nightly rate, but wound up getting charged 5 quid for a coffee.

The property and staff were great, but for the price i expected more, dinner menu limited and very small portions, £5 added to.bill for cheeseboard of which, cheese was very standard. Fresh milk for tea and coffee in the rooms would have been nice. Noise was actually annoying, we could hear people snoring next door and doors slamming at all hours. Hotel of this price i expected more.

Our most expensive night in Scotland was a disappointment. Room was nicely decorated & bedding was comfy. View would have been nice on clear day. Bathroom decor was hideous. Large black & white & red stacked tile- cold & jarring. The woman on staff was very pleasant & helpful. We had dinner here & wait staff was barely attentive. They were not rude just not the level of service we expect from a nice restaurant. Food was good but not particularly memorable.

Booked on hotel.com paid for room then had to pay double the price the next day. They said that my charges were going to be fore extra breakfast cause it only stated one person on the app. That was 15$ per person for breakfast which I agreed to. Then the next morning they charged me 460$ more. I only paid 360$ for the room. They had my visa cause they tricked me the night before to get it.

Pretty house and location. I don’t think they like Americans. That’s the vibe. Dining staff was frustrated and overwhelmed. They also seemed to have some drama amongst themselves. The front desk service was excellent, particularly the man with the coifed hair and perfect eyebrows.

Strictly average, and definitely not worth the money. Breakfast was underwhelming. Room view was really nice but under equipped. Staff were friendly (but I also heard them say “Yuck” to an Indian gentleman who wanted warm water with his whiskey - not sure when this became acceptable?). Location is good from an accessibility perspective - near the sky bridge and ferry. Not one I would come back to.

For a beautiful property that appeared to be so sophisticated, the place seemed a little disorganized. They assured us that all was good with our credit card on the bill, yet 2 days later they called us to get payment for dinner.

We loved staying at the Duisdale House Hotel. Perfect location, right across from the water with a quick path to the beach. The staff were the best. So fun and funny and a joy to be around.

Duisdale hotel is a small boutique establishment. Each room has its own personality. Lovely chandeliers, very nice canopy bed in one of our three rooms. Service seemed stretched a bit thin, but staff was pleasant. Property had excellent water view!

The hotel is located in a beautiful setting. The main hotel is welcoming and beautiful. Our cottage upgraded and clean with a fabulous view. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful B&B. Very friendly staff, wonderful location on the Isle of Skye, nice sized room with good amenities and delightful breakfast.

Strictly average, and definitely not worth the money. Breakfast was underwhelming. Room view was really nice but under equipped. Staff were friendly (but I also heard them say “Yuck” to an Indian gentleman who wanted warm water with his whiskey - not sure when this became acceptable?). Location is good from an accessibility perspective - near the sky bridge and ferry. Not one I would come back to.

We stayed two nights at Duisdale and it was a very pleasant time. The staff were courteous, happy to help and knowledgeable. The view was stunning around the grounds. My partner and I brought our dog and they made Cleo very welcome. Finally, the food was excellent.

We loved staying at the Duisdale House Hotel. Perfect location, right across from the water with a quick path to the beach. The staff were the best. So fun and funny and a joy to be around.

Nice boutique hotel that is close/convenient to/from Skye bridge but far from attractions. Staff were friendly and attentive. Food was very good for a hotel. Beds were very comfortable. A trifle expensive compared to other nicer hotels we stayed at.

Excellent boutique hotel! Fantastic restaurant, cozy bar, lovely grounds, professional and kind staff. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated, with a small view of the water. Modern bathroom. No elevator but staff will help with luggage. A great breakfast in their dining room is included. They should swap out small complimentary toiletries for more eco-friendly supplies, but nothing would stop us from staying there again or highly recommending it. We’d like to live there ;-)

We had a really lovely room, spacious, warm, together with a large modern bathroom. We ate a.meal the first night, it was okay but not wonderful. Very poor vegetables and expensive at a set price £38.00 each. Add on expensive wine, a very ordinary one. The bar was nice with a fire, but again prices in the bar on the high side Overall ,the accomodation and breakfasts were good, but the dinner could be improved. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and the setting around the hotel lovely.

The property and staff were great, but for the price i expected more, dinner menu limited and very small portions, £5 added to.bill for cheeseboard of which, cheese was very standard. Fresh milk for tea and coffee in the rooms would have been nice. Noise was actually annoying, we could hear people snoring next door and doors slamming at all hours. Hotel of this price i expected more.

The only reasons I couldn’t give this property 5 stars is due to the spiders in the rooms, and the prices vs quality of the food served in the restaurant downstairs. It’s, by far, one of the most spectacular house hotels we’ve ever stayed at in terms of beauty, comfort, and location. But when you wake up to find a squashed spider on your pillow (which you likely accidentally killed in your sleep -yes there was bug juice on the pillow too), it makes you question a few things. I told the nice blonde girl that works at the front desk and she had someone turn over our room right away. Did I sleep with one eye open that night anyway? I did :( Anyway, I think that a bit of fumigation tactics will clean the place right up. We also paid for breakfast to be included in our nightly rate, but wound up getting charged 5 quid for a coffee.

Building initially looked a little tired however the interior couldn’t be faulted. Very modern, clean and stylish. Comfortable. Staff very friendly and couldn’t do enough to accommodate. Only downside was the dinner menu, trying way too hard to be posh. Needs regular food being served

very friendly staff here. it is very quiet on this section of the Isle, but you are close to everywhere you will want to go. the property has plenty of parking. it is a historic, older property, so the is no AC or lift. the breakfast room is really nice and a good spot to rest in the AM.

Our dog friendly room was on the 3rd floor with a colourful skylight. It was spotless and pitch black at night which was amazing. The staff always had a smile on their face and were more than happy to provide recommendations for things to do or places to go. The breakfast was superb. The square sausage was delicious. The dinner was tasty although the menu, for me, was fancier than it needed to be but was lovely
