Second time to this hotel and the staff are very friendly and welcoming, excellent customer service from Vidan who could not do enough for you, we were surprised to get an upgrade to a suite, our room was clean, bright, modern & all the facilities you need in a room. Great choice of food for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Used the spa facilities for a fee & great choice of treatments with Elemis products. Lovely outside grounds where you can eat, drink & enjoy the view of the Frensham pond.

We stayed in this hotel as it was close to a wedding venue we were attending. The rooms are quiet and clean but are quite outdated with regards to furniture and the overall interiors throughout. It's quite dark internally, and the aesthetic isn't quite matched. I would recommend an interior facelift! It's also a huge shame that the hotel have made a decision not to include spa for guests but to insist they pay extra which is not typical of a spa hotel. We didn't see anyone using the spa and cannot comment on whether it would be worth an extra payment. Overall, it did the job but I wouldn't be rushing back or recommending friends to stay unless there was a need to be in this area albeit being woken up at 7am by a brief fire alarm after a wedding!

Stayed in a Garden room . Clean a tidy . Looked a little tired but comfortable . Safe broken show tray couldn’t drain water away quick enough. water spilled over. Bathroom radiator not working Booked restaurant on first night . Most of the curry menu not available and we were an early seating as well. Went for fish on main menu didn’t have that either. It’s promoted as a spa hotel and as such I assumed hotel guests could use the pool, but found out it was at an additional charge. Looked into the facility and saw it was empty. Hotel is excellent. Food and service excellent too. Except the spa. That was fully booked - but regardless - it’s £140 per person to use the tiny pool and steam room. That’s crazy.

Great hotel but be careful when you park to register your car ..reception didn't ask me to so I got a ticket! It was sorted with a phonecall and email but was upsetting to get it in the post

lovely hotel , I just had one problem but that wasnot with the Hotel but withteh EV charger in car park run by Pod point - charger trapped my charge cable and it took 14 hours to get it sorted over night so that spoilt it slightly, luckily I did not have to leave very early teh next morning or I woudl have been leavign my charge cabel behind..

Lovely room, lovely property. Breakfast was nice . Only issue was the gym none of the treadmills worked and lack of strength machines only one.

For a hotel rated four stars, several aspects of the stay were disappointing. Most rooms do not have fridges, despite there being a clear allocated space for one. This gives the impression that the hotel has either cut corners or overlooked a basic guest need. The spare pillows stored in the cupboard were also concerning, as they had a noticeable odour of sweat. Not everyone is comfortable with soft pillows, and the firmer alternatives provided were not clean. When I enquired about the on-site EV charger, staff were unable to confirm the cost per kWh. It is surprising that a facility would advertise such a service without knowing this basic information. After checking myself, I discovered it costs 79p/kWh for what is only a slow charger, which is unreasonable and ridiculous for a slow charger. Additionally, the in-room television did not provide HD output, which is a small but noticeable shortcoming for a modern hotel. Overall, despite being in a beautiful scenic location, I would personally not be staying here again. For a price of around £100 per night, more is expected. P.S. Don’t look under the bed, especially if you have asthma, it’s not hoovered so full of dust.

Unfortunately the garden rooms smell musty and all my clothes afterwards smelled the same. The furnishings are rather tacky and the 'garden' is an area of lawn with some unrelated rather large 'feature' objects on it......a windmill and a horse and cart which i suppose could be a nod to a rural history. We did not eat or use any of the other facilities so am unable to comment further.

I can’t see how this property is 4 *. We stayed in room 6 which was incredibly dirty, stains in the rooms, cobwebs on the ceiling and all round the room needs a overhaul. For breakfast the next day it was very full, which is fine, but the buffet area for hot food is just four small plates, so there was never enough food and queues of people just waiting. There is just one coffee machine for what at the time was approx 50 people so as you can imagine lots of queuing. Not ideal for breakfast.

Stayed for one night… Wi-Fi not working. Our room was very tired and not particularly clean. The food and service in the restaurant was good. The Hotel is over priced for the standard on offer.

Was welcomed by Akash prior to check in to help make my stay more comfortable. While walking in, was greeted well by all the staff members and check in was smooth and comfy. Staff were kind and attentive making a nice presence in the hotel. Breakfast banquet was filling and dinner was full of flavour. The Chicken Thai Green curry and duck dish was amazing. Room was spacious and clean and the views were great! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again!

Surprised by the cost about how run down it is, needs an update. A cheaper price would be more reflective of the hotel. Breakfast was nice. Our room was loud as it was situated right by the car park entrance, continuous flow of people no privacy.

A lovely hotel in a lovely quiet spot over looking Frensham Pond. Room huge, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Bar area a little subdued and lacked some atmosphere, it could have done with some back ground music. Staff were nice enough but sadly lacked enthusiasm and interaction with their customers. Those working in the bar didn’t acknowledge us when waiting to be served and there was no communication or warm welcome, to the extent we felt a little awkward. Breakfast offer was great with plenty of choice. It was advertised being served until 10am. We arrived at 9.45am and were promptly told by the breakfast staff it finished at 10am and sure enough all food was removed at 10am, so it ended up not being the leisurely Sunday morning breakfast we had hoped for. The reception staff didn’t really want to speak to us either when checking in or out. Hardly two words! In any hotel you want to feel welcomed on arrival and that the staff are there to serve you throughout your stay. On this occasion it sadly didn’t feel like that. Don’t want to sound negative and hope hotel management take my comments constructively.

The spare pillows stored in the cupboard were also concerning, as they had a noticeable odour of sweat. Not everyone is comfortable with soft pillows, and the firmer alternatives provided were not clean. When I enquired about the on-site EV charger, staff were unable to confirm the cost per kWh. It is surprising that a facility would advertise such a service without knowing this basic information. After checking myself, I discovered it costs 79p/kWh for what is only a slow charger, which is unreasonable and ridiculous for a slow charger. Additionally, the in-room television did not provide HD output, which is a small but noticeable shortcoming for a modern hotel. Overall, despite being in a beautiful scenic location, I would personally not be staying here again. For a price of around £100 per night, more is expected. P.S. Don’t look under the bed, especially if you have asthma, it’s not hoovered so full of dust.

On arrival was advised they were unable to receive payment that morning on my card which I explained was incorrect given I’d paid the booking agency approx 3 months ago when booked. Hotel clean and restaurant staff very friendly. Restaurant put 10% service charge on our evening bill without asking or mentioning! Very pricey too! On checking out they advised my card had been charged for the previous evening meal… on asking for a breakdown they’d overcharged £58 and the room cost was charged again so in total appt £165 … can’t believe they could have got this so wrong! Thankfully all rectified today!

All was well with my stay however i found you seem to be very short staffed and i overheard a member of staff say what will happen if we have a wedding . i know you have just moved over to a tab and knew the guys were getting used to it , tried ordering room service no reply so i went to reception and i was told they were busy go to the bar , usually that would be fine however i was feeling rather unwell and thought it prudent to stay in my room just in case i had covid . which after testing i did not , but o be told by reception they couldnt do anything was not great customer service in the end they did sort it out . overall a great stay and would come back .

A lovely hotel in a lovely quiet spot over looking Frensham Pond. Room huge, with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. Bar area a little subdued and lacked some atmosphere, it could have done with some back ground music. Staff were nice enough but sadly lacked enthusiasm and interaction with their customers. Those working in the bar didn’t acknowledge us when waiting to be served and there was no communication or warm welcome, to the extent we felt a little awkward. Breakfast offer was great with plenty of choice. It was advertised being served until 10am. We arrived at 9.45am and were promptly told by the breakfast staff it finished at 10am and sure enough all food was removed at 10am, so it ended up not being the leisurely Sunday morning breakfast we had hoped for. The reception staff didn’t really want to speak to us either when checking in or out. Hardly two words! In any hotel you want to feel welcomed on arrival and that the staff are there to serve you throughout your stay. On this occasion it sadly didn’t feel like that. Don’t want to sound negative and hope hotel management take my comments constructively.

I booked one room and I had my brother came to see me. It was going to get late at night to I told him to stay with us . When I checked in I asked front desk if I can have room with sofa and she told me that I we don't have room with sofa in hotel. I end up book him room for two days, When I were checking out I went to his room and saw he had sofa. I don' complain about anything, but I feel they tricked me to book 2nd room which I didn't want to. You can see I booked extra room on day I checked in. Kindly let me if you can give me refund for that room as they should have honest about it. I hope you can help. Thank you.

Got back to the hotel about 12-30 am. Several people there were from the same wedding we attended. Most of us were hungry and the barman went above and beyond making us sandwiches till gone 1-15 am. Lovely room and breakfast. Would definately stay there again

Beautiful situation on small lake with lots of wild fowl. Staff especially Vishnu and Anna on reception were excellent and very helpful. Staff in the restaurant were also excellent. Large comfortable room and bed. Very enjoyable two nights stay. Food both breakfast and dinner very good, freshly made and very good service.

I loved the location right on Frensham Pond and the view from the dining room was lovely. Unfortunately weather not nice enough to be out on terrace which would have been even better. The hotel was very clean and well cared for and the staff were lovely. A very pleasurable stay.

The room was a good size and quiet. The shower was good. Tea and coffee, water and biscuits in room nice touch. Feels like everything is an add on… food expensive and bad quality, £17 for a microwaved veggie curry! Breakfast extortionately priced, should be included. Spa also additional cost. Should be included. Decor questionable - bold colours and Asian theme doesn’t fit with country style hotel, garish coloured lights make for a cheap look. Wouldn’t stay again.

I can’t see how this property is 4 *. We stayed in room 6 which was incredibly dirty, stains in the rooms, cobwebs on the ceiling and all round the room needs a overhaul. For breakfast the next day it was very full, which is fine, but the buffet area for hot food is just four small plates, so there was never enough food and queues of people just waiting. There is just one coffee machine for what at the time was approx 50 people so as you can imagine lots of queuing. Not ideal for breakfast.

Stayed in a Garden room . Clean a tidy . Looked a little tired but comfortable . Safe broken show tray couldn’t drain water away quick enough. water spilled over. Bathroom radiator not working Booked restaurant on first night . Most of the curry menu not available and we were an early seating as well. Went for fish on main menu didn’t have that either. It’s promoted as a spa hotel and as such I assumed hotel guests could use the pool, but found out it was at an additional charge. Looked into the facility and saw it was empty. I think they are missing a trick here. .

The hotel is a located in a beautiful place. Staffs are friendly and professional. Room is really clean and comfortable. I fully enjoyed the stay. The food served in the restaurant is delicious and good quality. However, the restaurant service is average. I received nothing extra apart being served the plate and they still charged 10% service charge on the bill. Overall, I had a very good experience during the stay.

Was welcomed by Akash prior to check in to help make my stay more comfortable. While walking in, was greeted well by all the staff members and check in was smooth and comfy. Staff were kind and attentive making a nice presence in the hotel. Breakfast banquet was filling and dinner was full of flavour. The Chicken Thai Green curry and duck dish was amazing. Room was spacious and clean and the views were great! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back again!

The room was nice although the bed wasn't made properly. There was no shower gel. The desk chair was so low you could barely reach the desk. But it was comfortable and peaceful. The evening meal was a disappointment. Dessert (Crumble) was stone cold so clearly microwaved (barely). Awareness of diners was poor. A coke was brought that looked like dish water as the pump had presumably run out but the waiter had no idea why I didn't want it. The restaurant manager was disinterested about the stone cold dessert. The menu has gone downhill when it used to be close to fine dining. It's now barely dining. Earlier lunch was slow to arrive at 2.30pm (only a club sandwich) but at least the morning and lunchtime staff were good and largely attentive. The hotel aesthetics internally and externally are great. They are a better restaurant away (as it used to be 5 years ago) from being a good hotel. NB I emailed the hotel that evening. What a lovely location, especially in the summer. Outdoor patio overlooking the pond was so relaxing. Reception were helpful and room was clean. The bar ran out of a few drinks, but it was Bank holiday. Breakfast was congested and badly designed. Staff tried hard to keep up and were working so hard but they needed more help and a better layout.

Beautiful location and property very nice but can't believe there is no lift / elevator in the building. Disappointing breakfast offering. Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities having no lift is a huge concern

Two breakfast buffet offerings advertised, continental £12.95 and hot £16.95 but on the first day there was no hot buffet. Hot food was ordered a la carte from the kitchen (plated) and price remained £16.95 regardless of what was ordered. Surely pricing should have been adjusted. Overall a very pleasant stay but if you're a senior or someone with disabilities having no lift is a huge concern
