Frensham Pond Country House Hotel & Spa

Stayed in garden room which had been partly refurbished. There was a strong smell of damp with evidence of repairs to the ceiling. Bar area was undergoing significant work as was the restaurant resulting in a limited breakfast option. I’m sure it will be a lot better when all the work is done.

Even though the hotel is going though some refurb everything was still fully operational and the stay was as good as ever.

I arrived about 11.00 at night and the doors were locked and no one responded to the intercom. I couldn't book in and ended up having to sleep in the car

We spent two nights at the hotel and were very pleased from the moment we arrived. The décor was lovely, the room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was big and extremely comfortable. The staff were very friendly and eager to help. We used the spa facilities on the day of arrival, and it was wonderfully quiet — we were able to enjoy the sauna, steam room,pool and the gym without any waiting. The whole hotel felt calm and serene throughout our stay. The food was very good, and overall it was a fantastic experience. We would definitely stay here again.
