Rooms are open to the outside, so security marginal. The bathrooms were showing a lot of wear and there were hairs in the bathroom shower when we got there. TV remote battery was low and had to manually operate it. Carpet felt dirty and room was very dark. Not very impressive and glad it was only for one night.

The place was okay and felt clean and comfortable in general. The room was tidy and included a nice TV, a Microwave and Refrigerator, an Iron with Ironing Board, and a Hair Dryer, plus WiFi access (which had issues). The bed was ample and comfortable but there were no spare blankets. The "breakfast included" was merely Hot Cereal Packets handed to you over the counter at check-in, along with Fruit Cups and Cereal Bars (which we had to retrieve on a daily basis). There were a couple of Coffee packets provided along with a Napkin, Sugar, Creamer packet, but not much else. No Tea or Cocoa. There was a separate room that had Ice and a Vending Machine for Soft Drinks. The other guest amenities in the room were limited, offering only two small packets of Shampoo/Conditioner plus a couple of small bars of Soap. There was no Lotion provided. The towels were on the small side and a bit rough but were clean. There was no toilet plunger in the bathroom. The radiator was a bit noisy but worked satisfactorily. For the price, it was adequately accommodating, but I\'m not sure we would return here in the future.

The sink was partially clogged so the water would back up and the bathtub should probably be replaced. The area around the motel was very dark and not lit very well.

Didn't like that they advertise that they have free breakfast, but all they offer is a granola bar. This is a snack not breakfast. Also, Ice machine has been broken for quite a while now. it was broken the last time I stayed which was 2 or 3 stays ago.

DO NOT BOOK HERE! There were holes in the shower, stains on all of the bedding, I was told housekeeping was off for the weekend, the furniture and bedding had holes, and an adjoining room was complaining about bugs. I spoke with the manager and let him know I was uncomfortable staying there and requested a refund and he screamed at me. He called me greedy and refused to refund my stay. I was traveling for a funeral and exhausted upon arrival. I paid and still chose to leave the room and stay elsewhere due to being uncomfortable and fear of retaliation from the manager.

The first room they gave us smelled like an ashtray. We went back to the office and they gave us another room. That room smelled moldy. The whole place seemed rundown. Spencer Inn and Suites was very very clean. The room for being a king size room was huge. The shower felt amazing. It was nice and quiet. Our room was on the first floor so we didn’t have to walk up stairs. The staff was super friendly too between the gal who checked us in and the guy who helped us get into our room after getting locked out. I like how it was centrally located. Would definitely stay again!!

The pictures are deceiving. In my room with two double beds, there was only floor space in front of the windows ... no small table; no comfortable chair or table chairs, just carpeting. At midnight, I had to go outside to ask the people playing corn hole in front of my room to wrap it up soon so that I could try to go to sleep without the noise from their game.

So looks like Google suggests some talking points. I can tell you that this is situated right off the main highway. So great access to highways. It's about 5 minutes away from a mega HiVee grocery store. The Strip house steak house is with in 2 minutes walking distance. A Walmart it just about 5 minutes or less walking 🚶‍♂️. In the strip mall next to Walmart are some restaurants. Also up main street you will find a Walgreens, local churches, Farway Grocery store. Plus you are very near several fast food restaurants such as McDonald's, and convince stores with gas stations

Stayed one night, Friday 8/25/23, at Spencer Inn and Suites when checking out a car to buy. Friendly staff, clean room, good hot and cold breakfast (eggs, biscuits & gravy, waffles, cereal, drinks, etc), multiple food places close for supper, Walmart and other such stores close also. Would definitely stay here again for the location, comfort, and price of our room.

We had a surprisingly nice stay. The breakfast was unexpectedly diverse and tasty. I wish the room layout was different. The bed was up against the HVAC unit so the cold air blew on my side of the bed. I would suggest to swap the bed and table and chair. Still a good value though.

Didn't like that they advertise that they have free breakfast, but all they offer is a granola bar. This is a snack not breakfast. Also, Ice machine has been broken for quite a while now. it was broken the last time I stayed which was 2 or 3 stays ago.

The amenities were the worse we’ve ever had . Hair shampoo in a small packet that had to be opened with a knife because your hands are wet . Wouldn’t be enough shampoo for someone with long hair Also we couldn’t hardly get the door open each time we used it . Had to get batteries for the tv remote which is something that should be checked periodically Ice machine was out of order on the second floor In a good note - The gal in the breakfast room was very nice and accommodating. She keep every thing clean after people left

Overall a decent place to stay. It is showing some age but the room was pretty clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable. No frills but if you are just looking for a decent place to sleep this is ok. The air conditioner worked great but it’s the old style so you are in close proximity to the noice they make. Nice TV, bathroom and vanity old school but very functional.

The guy at the front desk is nice...have stayed there twice this summer. No continental breakfast this time was a bummer and the room cooling unit began making strange noises in the night which made it hard to sleep and gave off a burning rubber/plastic small, but they seem to try hard and the rates are more reasonable than other area motels so I'm willing to overlook a few details at times. I would and likely will stay there again at some point. Thanks.
