The hotel is nice. the service was so bad. they have the worst receptionists Ever. When we checked in She don’t want to give us a second key ?? Said if we lost it. it will cost is 10 euro 😳 It was crazy ! the day after on sunday. the bathroom curtain fall off We want someone come to fix it. but another receptionist said it was sunday and not sure anyone can come And this receiptioner told me “you can still take a shower without curtain. But there are building opposite the street. I can see them which means they can see me too OMG.😱When my boyfriend complained to another man receptionist in the late afternoon. He don’t even bother to look at him I complained to the manager on monday when the manager came to put the curtain back she did apologized but the whole experience was crazy !! But The hotel is very nicely decorated

10 günlük konaklama sürecimizden bahsedeceğim.ilk 7 gün otelde herşey güzeldi. personelin ilgisi kültürel ve toplumsal olarak gayet normaldi. ellerinden geldiğince yardımcı oldular. çocuk için yanımızda getirdiğimiz makarna paketiyle, özel tarifli bir makarna bile pişirdiler bizim için. bavulları tartmak için bi tartıları yoktu ama bi şekilde ölçmemize yardımcı oldular:) 7. güne geldiğimizde şehirde çok güzel bir kar yağışı başladı bundan sebep midir bilinmez otelin misafir odalarında elektrik kesintileri yaşanmaya başladı. restoran ve lobi de elektrik var ama yukarıda katlarda yoktu. görevliler şehirde bir sorun olduğunu söylediler. bizde gündüz olduğu için dışarı çıktık ama döndüğümüzde hala elektrik gelmemişti. biraz daha bekledik. ertesi günde yine öğleden akşama kadar süren 6-7 saatlik bir kesinti oldu. otelin henüz bir jeneratörü yokmuş, varmış ama sadece restoran ve lobi için:) katlar içinse almayı planladıklarını söylediler. konaklayacak olanlar bu gibi durumlara hazır olmalılar, otel bir jeneratör alana kadar :) onun dışında odalar geniş ve temizdi, oda temizliği istediğinizde geç de olsa odaya geliyorlar:) restoranın sigara içile ve içilmeyen iki alanı bulunuyor. daha çok garsonlar içilen alanda bulunuyor üst kısımlar yani sigara içilmeyen alan daha sakin. otelin havalimanı transfer hizmeti de bulunuyor gitmeden konuşmanızda yarar var.biz gidiş gelişi otel aracılığı ile yaptık ve çok memnun kaldık.genel olarak memnunduk yine kalacağımz kesin:) teşekkürler herkese!

Tyvärr levde vistelsen inte upp till förväntningarna. Det fanns inget varmt vatten, vilket för prisnivån är oacceptabelt. Under frukosten var tre medarbetare mer upptagna med att prata sinsemellan och ge råd till varandra om privata saker än att fokusera på gästerna, städa borden och se till att allt fungerade. Hotellets läge var däremot mycket bra

We went on a weekend trip. Lovely room, nice hotel, and good cleaning. The breakfast was also great. However, we were unfortunate that the heating in the rooms didn’t work. When we went down to tell the reception, we were met by two receptionists. One was sitting there yawning, while the other explained that it wasn’t their fault and that she had just been to the third floor to feel the temperature, and that it was abnormal. Then one of the receptionists said she could ask housekeeping to check it. We were also told that we would need to wait for the manager. When I went back upstairs, I mentioned it to housekeeping, who explained that it was because the climate control was on – however, it had been off the entire time we’d been there, so that wasn’t the cause. I went back to the reception to wait for the room to be serviced but was met by the manager, who gave me hostile looks and refused to engage in dialogue or listen to why I was there. The kind female receptionist gave us another room on the fourth floor, but the heating there wasn’t any better. Additionally, she made sure we had a free late check-out and didn’t have to pay for what we had taken from the minibar. Big praise to the female receptionist, but it is embarrassing that the manager and the young male staff member behaved so rudely at such an expensive and well-regarded hotel. Unprofessional and embarrassing for a hotel that costs so much money!

Centrally located, the hotel offers easy access to Belgrade center. Old 19th centery building is decently maintained and should be appreciated in contrast to some modern hotels. No issues with cleanliness.

When we checked in to the hotel, they took 100 euros to reserve the parking space in front of the hotel. (4 days) . When we back to hotel the next day, the parking space was full and I asked how this was possible. They said that they did not know the person who parked, apologized to us and told us to park our car in another paid parking lot 200 meters away. Then they said that the car that did not have a reservation in the parking lot would leave at 12 the next day. We parked our car somewhere else, left in the morning and when we arrived in the evening, the parking space was full again! The weather was already cold with our bags in our hands, we put it in the first place we found so as not to be late for our dinner reservation. They towed our car and the best moments of our holiday were ruined by this hotel. If you cannot monitor the parking space, you will not charge anyone! I will come to Belgrade again but never to this hotel..

Walked into room , bedsheets were dirty from previous stay.I was so tired from the trip, requesting immediate change of bedsheets wasn't planned as I had other things scheduled and wanted a quick lie down.Took management an hour to send someone to change them. Bathroom was dirty as well, toothpaste still visible in the sink. Breakfast was shockingly bad. They take 100 euro deposit in case something gets damaged in the room. Great location, decent price,but that's about it.

Front desk needs training on hospitality, how to smile and greet customers, being polite and accommodating, very robotic and less than enthusiastic. Room was very small for an executive suite, needed some repairs, slippers and robe looked and felt very cheap. Over priced for Belgrade market rate.

So pleased with this hotel. Beautifully presented, centrally located and friendly staff. Booked a junior suite and more than pleased with the facilities. Will certainly stay again if returning to Belgrade and will recommend to others.

Front desk needs training on hospitality, how to smile and greet customers, being polite and accommodating, very robotic and less than enthusiastic. Room was very small for an executive suite, needed some repairs, slippers and robe looked and felt very cheap. Over priced for Belgrade market rate.

The hotel is nice. the service was so bad. they have the worst receptionists Ever. When we checked in She don’t want to give us a second key ?? Said if we lost it. it will cost is 10 euro 😳 It was crazy ! the day after on sunday. the bathroom curtain fall off We want someone come to fix it. but another receptionist said it was sunday and not sure anyone can come And this receiptioner told me “you can still take a shower without curtain. But there are building opposite the street. I can see them which means they can see me too OMG.😱When my boyfriend complained to another man receptionist in the late afternoon. He don’t even bother to look at him I complained to the manager on monday when the manager came to put the curtain back she did apologized but the whole experience was crazy !! But The hotel is very nicely decorated

Tyvärr levde vistelsen inte upp till förväntningarna. Det fanns inget varmt vatten, vilket för prisnivån är oacceptabelt. Under frukosten var tre medarbetare mer upptagna med att prata sinsemellan och ge råd till varandra om privata saker än att fokusera på gästerna, städa borden och se till att allt fungerade. Hotellets läge var däremot mycket bra

We went on a weekend trip. Lovely room, nice hotel, and good cleaning. The breakfast was also great. However, we were unfortunate that the heating in the rooms didn’t work. When we went down to tell the reception, we were met by two receptionists. One was sitting there yawning, while the other explained that it wasn’t their fault and that she had just been to the third floor to feel the temperature, and that it was abnormal. Then one of the receptionists said she could ask housekeeping to check it. We were also told that we would need to wait for the manager. When I went back upstairs, I mentioned it to housekeeping, who explained that it was because the climate control was on – however, it had been off the entire time we’d been there, so that wasn’t the cause. I went back to the reception to wait for the room to be serviced but was met by the manager, who gave me hostile looks and refused to engage in dialogue or listen to why I was there. The kind female receptionist gave us another room on the fourth floor, but the heating there wasn’t any better. Additionally, she made sure we had a free late check-out and didn’t have to pay for what we had taken from the minibar. Big praise to the female receptionist, but it is embarrassing that the manager and the young male staff member behaved so rudely at such an expensive and well-regarded hotel. Unprofessional and embarrassing for a hotel that costs so much money!

Balkan Hotel, located exactly in the heart of the city centre is accessible to all the attractions within the city, and the staff are very hepful, and so clean room, wanderfull breakfast we enjoyed our stay for 3 nights.Thank you very much

Walked into room , bedsheets were dirty from previous stay.I was so tired from the trip, requesting immediate change of bedsheets wasn't planned as I had other things scheduled and wanted a quick lie down.Took management an hour to send someone to change them. Bathroom was dirty as well, toothpaste still visible in the sink. Breakfast was shockingly bad. They take 100 euro deposit in case something gets damaged in the room. Great location, decent price,but that's about it.

The hotel has been freshly and perfectly renovated. Perhaps one of the best classical old hotels in the centre of Belgrade. The rooms are amazing, furnished beautifully, full of amenities like a 5* hotel. Breakfast is very generous and with quality food. And the location is brilliant. I was impressed how this hotel was transformed from what it used to be some years ago

This was, by far, the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced in Belgrade. To be clear, the hotel itself was not bad. The property, facilities, and overall accommodation were acceptable. Unfortunately, the experience was completely ruined by the staff. The level of customer service was absolutely appalling. The staff displayed a shocking lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic hospitality. Their attitude and manner were simply unacceptable for a hotel that expects guests to have a pleasant stay. What should have been a normal hotel experience instead became extremely frustrating and disappointing. Hotel management seriously needs to reconsider its approach to selecting and, more importantly, training its staff. Good facilities cannot compensate for staff who do not understand the most basic principles of professional customer service. I have stayed in many hotels, but I have rarely encountered such poor treatment. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue, because the staff’s behaviour is doing far more damage to the hotel’s reputation than any problem with the property itself. I will provide a more detailed review of the specific incidents separately.
