I had looked, prior to departing home for this trip, to see if there was a pool at the hotel, answer, Yes. However, upon checking in and walking to my room, I saw that the pool was covered, and I could tell that the cover has been on the pool for a long time. Not a deal breaker, but was looking to relax in the pool.

It is not a brand new property but it appears they have remodeled at some point. Room was very clean, staff very nice, good price and can walk to some food and shopping. AC worked perfectly, had to set the temp higher because I was freezing when I first turned it on. Felt very safe as a solo traveler as they have multiple working cameras. I will stay here again when in the area.

Room was clean and well maintained. Just a few scratch marks on the wall where a chair rubbed it. Bed was very comfortable, and sheets and towels were a nice quality. Breakfast was a really pleasant surprise. The breakfast had 3 waffle makers so no waiting, bagels, yogurt, fruit, juices, mini muffins and both regular and decaf coffee. Although it is the older-style motel with rooms to the outside, property is well lit and has numerous security cameras, along with a manned front desk. I would stay here again if passing through.

the hotel is ok, but it wasn't worth $90. the lobby isn't accessible outside of breakfast hours, which means there's no public restroom. they'll rush you out of breakfast (at least other hotels i've been to give you time to finish eating as they put stuff away). also, one of the cleaning ladies peered into my window, even though i had a "do not disturb" sign on my door. i had my shirt off, but at least had my swimming shorts on, which i gueas kind of made up for it. still, that was an invasion of privacy. on the flip side, the hotel was clean, and the pool was nice. it also had a weight room. overall, the hotel was ok, but the service and amenities did not match the price i paid to stay there.

The area is safe, but the room, the old and dirty coffee maker, the moldy bathtub, as my stay was only to sleep one night I stayed as I wanted. But if you're going to stay more than one day, these people need to better use those rooms and their utensils.

This is basically a Motel 6. Sketchy people in a sketchy area. Cigarette smoke everywhere. Uncomfortable beds in a smelly room. Only like 20 channels on the TV. Breakfast was old muffins or make your own waffles.

It was close to the highway and around a lot of dining options. Stayed for 2 days, price was reasonable for the time we stayed. Rome smelled stale, other than that everything was nice. Will stay again and I will bring a can of air freshener or Febreeze

Rooms look better than the outside definitely. Room seems to be remodeled and done well. Bed hard as a rock and AC noisy but that drowned out the noisy neighbors so win win. Didn’t get in the pool because of weather but looks very nice. All and all not a bad place. Just needs cosmetic work and better beds.

The air-conditioning was noisy and kept me up for most of the night. Had to take a smoking room because there were no non-smoking available for the night and the scent of smoke was unpleasant. Breakfast was okay and the room clean though.

The motel was deserted which made us hesitant and kept us on the alert. Tough to sleep when 2 men were talking for a couple hours just outside our window in the middle of the night. Room was very damp from heater/AC.

Was definitely disappointed. The front desk clerk was pretty rude from the beginning. 300 cash deposit was a little insane considering the overall environment. My room type that I requested got switched up because I had a service pet (that I had to pay a fee for).

When I booked they say they have a crib so when we arrive the guy in the front desk was soooooo rude with me and my husband was trying to make a conversation but he was rude with us he said we don’t have a crib and he ask me to show him where I saw the crib is available !! Was asking if we will check in or he will cancel and he didn’t want to give us extra blanket he said the laundry is closed.

Check-in was quick and efficient, other then cleaning the toilet the room was fine. Checking out was TERRIBLE, you can't check out before 9 am and if you do then you wont get your deposit back and that lady at the desk was very very rude. Will NOT be back

I honestly was not expecting much since this was a turn and burn trip. However, when we arrived, the hotel manager and a guest we having a heated verbal exchange while we try to in. Secondly, we were asked to pay our deposit in cash. Thirdly, they stated the key machine was not working and they could let us in and out. Finally, immediately after checking out they told us they were going to check the room and to wait. Once they checked the room they stated we could have our deposit back. I felt like they were racially profiling me and my family.

They require $60 CASH Only deposit. I\'ve never heard of this. I then had to go find an ATM. When I asked why I couldn\'t just use a credit card for the deposit they told me "that\'s your problem, you shouldn\'t have booked a nonrefundable hotel." Insanely bad service. Do not stay here.

First, the room was to non smoking but the smell of smoke was evident. They gave me another room without argument. I was satisfied with that. Unfortunately, the toilet was not working properly. I tried to call the front desk but the room phone was not working. I walked to the front office to get assistance. I was told by the manager that the toilets are new and that too much tissue must have used and that I need to plunge it. The manager told the worker who had assisted earlier with the room change to get me a plunger which was in another room. I followed the worker out thinking that he would plunge the toilet. He told me that he was not coming to my room and then asked me if I wanted the plunger or not. He told me he is not maintenance and then went on to tell me that I could leave if I wanted. As a paying customer, I expect all things to be in proper working order and if they are not, the business needs to rectify it. I will absolutely not stay there again and recommend no one else does. We stayed here as an overnight from attending a concert in Charlotte. Hotel staff was SUPER friendly and attentive. They answered all of our questions and made our stay as comfortable as possible. Hotel was quiet and clean. Overall great experience and will absolutely stay here again!

I came to NC for a convention and booked this place because the host hotel was sold out. Check-in was quick, the service was very friendly and the accommodations were clean and comfortable with a pool - which came in handy due the extreme heat and humidity. I'd stay here again. Free breakfast was a bonus and there are plenty of places to eat and shop in the area. It's also right off the highway exit.

Good location, despite initial impression (across from bus station): within walking distance from several restaurants and right off the freeway. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Only issue is I could never connect with the Wi-Fi…wasn’t a big concern in this instance so I did not bring up with the desk clerk…may have been an easy solution.

Please do not judge a hotel by it's outside. The outside is a bit dated, however the room was newly remodeled with new paint and carpeting. The fridge was even brand new. There was NO crazy smells and the bed was ok. Pillows could have been newer but they WERE NOT horrible. (Im a pillow snob). The staff was VERY friendly, both check in and out. Breakfast was basic but at least they offered it. Very quiet and a positive was all the cameras of the entire property at the front desk. I felt very safe knowing that they were there. Overall my stay was great. I was by myself and didn't have an issue going to sleep. Great location. Literally right off of the exit. The only maybe downfall but NOT negative is the room was a joining room BUT the door padlocked.

Room was clean, i like that we were close to the shopping mall and other areas. Only thing i didn't like was the train is pretty close and very loud when it goes by at night

It was a bit run down, the location wasn’t the best, but the staff at check in were very nice. Our room appeared clean. There was some other guests fighting loudly in the morning, but I guess that happens. We slept great. Coffee from the lobby was good.

The location was good, re. right off 85 and convenient to event. The room was clean but did not smell fresh. The staff were pleasant and responsive. We reported that the smoke detector was missing battery and the TV wasn't turning on. They attended to it promptly. It was a bit noisy, due to our room being across from the stairs/vending machines, and near maintenance/laundry. If we had planned on being there more than one night, I would have requested a different room. Overall I would say that they exceeded our expectations for a 3 star hotel.

The room was okay. They never cleaned the room on day 2 or 3 of our stay though I was told they would clean it. The breakfast selection was below expectations. The coffee machine was broken the entire stay.

Staff was very courteous. Room was very clean although there was a lack of toilet paper. Breakfast had a lot to be desired. The orange juice was rancid. The bagels were like rocks. And the muffins were hard. There was no protein options for breakfast. It was all carbohydrates.

The breakfast was minimal, not a lot of choices, I didn’t expect a grand layout but theirs was not the best I’ve seen. Especially after our stay at a Quality Inn in Boise,ID.

Room was clean and well maintained. Just a few scratch marks on the wall where a chair rubbed it. Bed was very comfortable, and sheets and towels were a nice quality. Breakfast was a really pleasant surprise. The breakfast had 3 waffle makers so no waiting, bagels, yogurt, fruit, juices, mini muffins and both regular and decaf coffee. Although it is the older-style motel with rooms to the outside, property is well lit and has numerous security cameras, along with a manned front desk. I would stay here again if passing through.

The rooms were very clean but the breakfast was a disappointment. The hotel did not have any artificial sweeteners. Looks like they never do. Also, I noticed that there was a pile of what looked saw dust on the counter near the cereal.. When I mentioned it to the manager, he told me it was ant poisoning. So unappetizing.

The room was very clean. I booked for race weekend. Unfortunately we had a family emergency as we were leaving. We stayed all night at the hospital and our loved one passed. I kept calling and trying to communicate with the hotel “ that was hard” English not so good. But we were supposed to arrive on Thursday around midnight but unfortunately we did not get there until Friday evening. We were charged full price for Thursday and room rate doubled for Friday. Was hoping for some compassion but unfortunately not. I get it we booked it but we definitely didn’t expect for the loss of a loved one. It was hard enough just making sure they would hold our room. But on a fair note the room was very clean and we did not get to try the continental breakfast because we were exhausted! We had been up since 5am Thursday morning, worked all day up all night until 4pm that Friday evening. But as far as cleanliness and close to things it was good. Was nervous at first because outside didn’t look as great. Also the beds are more like fills not a queen

The lady Anne had a terrible attitude with me and another guest in front of me who didn’t speak any English she kinda threw my credit card as me when it didn’t go through due to it being locked..Nad my sheet had a stain and she told me to wait and she never came or called my room back

Breakfast was good the first 2 days on Saturday and Sunday . Then the rest of our stay it really went downhill. The sausages were left over from the day before on Sunday and then 2 days before then on the last day of our stay they looked either 3 days old or burnt and also the last day we were there the eggs were terrible
