Overall we felt it was clean, good size rooms, plenty of parking. Easy to get to everything we wanted to do in the area from attractions to restaurants it was convenient. Even the Railroad tracks behind the hotel wasn't overly loud when trains went through the area.

Good overall. door to room could fit better. when closed it still moves in-out. coffee maker might be a nice touch. the room we were in did not have one. Friendly service, clean, would stay there again.

Reliable facility with lowest price around. No frills, but perfectly comfortable with all the usual amenities (cable tv, microwave, comfy bed, blackout curtains, etc.)

That the staff was very friendly. Microwave was not working. They came right away and gave us another one. Was very polite about getting more towels and wash cloths. Cleaned our room when we left.

Lots of noise outside after 11 pm. Room had several areas of damage from previous guests. Sink stopper was stuck in closed position. No coffee in room or lobby.

This is a very nice property for the price point. Friendly staff and more of a “family owned” environment than a “corporate chain”. That being said it had a cozy feel but not the upscale luxuries. Room was clean, hard floors. Bedding was clean. Some light dust on some surfaces. Shower floor was soft but no big deal. Good water pressure and temperature, refrigerator and microwave. Lots of tv channels. Most importantly they have daily housekeeping! Most chains don’t offer that! Parking outside your room. Keep in mind I’m rating this for a hotel in its class.

I appreciate that I was allowed to cancel my second night stay. The friend I was visiting was not feeling well so unable to continue are visit. Property is older but well maintained. Staff was accommodating of my needs. Would stay there again.

Great place for the price. No frills but everything was clean. Easy access to interstates and local attractions. The room did have an odor of old cigarette smoke as it was probably not always a non smoking room. There was neeish paint and floors. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot gave yhe room everything i needed for my 4 day stay

Pictures and reviews are very misleading. Rooms are not clean, bed sheets are dirty, pillow sheets have smears all across them. If possible, I would perfer to leave a zero star review. I will never recommend this location to anyone.

This property is very dirty. After walking on floor my socks were black, threw thew away. Coffer packs were open and empty with a used one in pot. Bath mat was stained, blanket hat cigarette burns in it. Electrical wall plates broken, ceiling pait pealing. Office was rarely open. When went to get coffee packts seemed to be a bother. NEVER AGAIN

TLDR: even with low expectations, we wouldn’t stay here again I really wanted to like this place based on the reviews. When we look for hotels we just need somewhere clean where we can sleep for the night and we thought this would be it. Unfortunately our room was musty, and even though we picked non-smoking, it still smelled like smoke. There were stains on the floor around the fridge, holes in the walls, and the toilet seat was screwed on so it sat halfway off the toilet. The floor had dust and dirt in the corners and it didn’t even look like the mirror had been wiped. You could feel every coil in the bed mattress and it squeaked every time you made the slighted move. We thought about asking for another room but got in really late and based on the look of the place and smell of our room, we didn’t think it would make a difference. In the future, we will pay the $20 extra to stay somewhere that gets cleaned more than a 5 minute run through.

Check in was easy and quick. This is a place to get the job done for the price. If you looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it. This would be a 2.5 star. Not bad but not great. Another note* the train that runs along the side is loud and at least 5 will run and night.

Staff was friendly, room was clean. Perfectly acceptable for a quick nights stay. There is road noise due to location, but we have white noise apps. The only downfall was the bed was very hard

I reserved a non-smoking room and upon check-in the lady said it was non-smoking. We get in the room and it reeked of cigarettes and the beds top blanket had burn marks on it. Was not very please with that at all and the room was not bad but not that clean either. I went on ratings and most were 10/10 but definitely not worth another stay or a recommendation. Was also right next to the bus station and 75 feet from RR tracks so heard the trains going through all night. No one else in or surrounding areas had rooms available or i definitely would have left.

We have stayed here quite a few times. It comes across as sketchy, but the rooms are as the pictures look. It is quiet and clean. It is very basic, but has everything you need.The manager is very nice. We actually came a day early and I had called the week before about that. When we got there (it was 10pm), they had no record of it being changed, so that was a little annoying, but it worked out fine. The young man there was confused and had to call the manager about what to do. The only thing I don't like is that after you pay, they make you pay a $25 fee that supposedly gets credited back. Why? I'm sure because of former guests. All in all, I like staying here. The room (203) wasn't as good as the others we've stayed in (211, I think). The water pressure and shower head were weak, and the bed wasn't as comfortable. Don't turn away because of the outside. You also have the Golden Corral across the hwy and a Starbucks down the street for breakfast.

Cabarrus Inn is my new "go-to" place to stay for work. The price is reasonable, the rooms are clean, and above ALL, the staff is exceptional !! Shekha, her brother, and the staff are ALL very pleasant !!! I have searched for months for an all-around decent place to stay when I travel for work. My work budget is very limited, but there are things more important than money. Besides cleanliness, politeness of the staff is monumental to ME.......this place has it all.

Was turned away due to their credit card machines inability to accept AMEX, which after they were fumbling with it for almost 10 minutes, then they finally said, “oh so sorry, can you pay with another card, because this machine doesn’t take the AMEX, so we cannot use it?” …… but there is a SIGN right on the glass door when you are entering to the office, that says “American Express Cards Welcome” and so I pointed the sign out to them, and they said, “oh!(tehehe, like chuckling a little bit” and “so sorry, but we can’t take it, sorry for the inconvenience”. - - So I left to get a room elsewhere, and now today, they’re trying to charge my card for the room! They’re trying to lie and say I was a “no show”.

That the staff was very friendly. Microwave was not working. They came right away and gave us another one. Was very polite about getting more towels and wash cloths. Cleaned our room when we left.

This is a very nice property for the price point. Friendly staff and more of a “family owned” environment than a “corporate chain”. That being said it had a cozy feel but not the upscale luxuries. Room was clean, hard floors. Bedding was clean. Some light dust on some surfaces. Shower floor was soft but no big deal. Good water pressure and temperature, refrigerator and microwave. Lots of tv channels. Most importantly they have daily housekeeping! Most chains don’t offer that! Parking outside your room. Keep in mind I’m rating this for a hotel in its class.

Despite me paying for 2 nights I was not able to check in early. Clerk was rude snd would not accommodate me despite my reservation. Will not be back. Took my business elsewhere

It’s not a five star resort but it’s not bad either the entrance road kinda sucks but it’s not really the motels fault . There was some shady people around but believe it or not it was surprisingly quiet the rooms are outdated but clean ! If you just want a place to crash it’s good if you want luxury skip it !!

Good property for an overnight stay, property is old but room was clean, but bring your own towel and cloth. The Staff was very friendly and it’s a great location for malls and outlets and restaurants

I feel like it was fairly decent for the price. Fairly decent neighborhood conveniently convenient too restaurants you have Golden corral across the street walking distance you have my McDonald's walking distance you have Wendy's walking distance and a couple of the little spots as well as Walgreens and Popeyes so it's pretty straight in the malls and walking distance as well and you even have a Starbucks so it's pretty good thanks.

Good overall. door to room could fit better. when closed it still moves in-out. coffee maker might be a nice touch. the room we were in did not have one. Friendly service, clean, would stay there again.

Lots of noise outside after 11 pm. Room had several areas of damage from previous guests. Sink stopper was stuck in closed position. No coffee in room or lobby.

Great place for the price. No frills but everything was clean. Easy access to interstates and local attractions. The room did have an odor of old cigarette smoke as it was probably not always a non smoking room. There was neeish paint and floors. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot gave yhe room everything i needed for my 4 day stay

The hotel is very outdated. Looked like I walked into a old movie. Smells really bad. Towels were dingy. Looks like the trap. Will never ever book again. Disgusting!!!

Looks sketchy by either location, or dated externals. However if you give this place an opportunity it will surprise you. Only gripe is the cash deposit they require. Which could be the reason why the hotel is so well maintained.

Bed was comfortable. It’s an older hotel that s been renovated . The tv remote didn’t work. I’d suggest they bleach their towels when washing. Our towels had brown stains on them.

Huge gaps under the door. Air conditioner didn’t work. I had to request to be moved because the maintenance man wasn’t coming in for a week. They didn’t offer. Bed hard. I left 2 pairs of headphones charging on the nightstand. A friend went back within an hour of leaving. (I called 30 minutes after I left and was told the housekeeper wouldn’t be in for 3 days to check.) The manager swore there was nothing in the room and wouldn’t allow us to check. I do not recommend.
