One of the finest boutique hotels I have ever stayed in. A short walk from the water front, it is well located. The rooms are large and spacious, and the services standards are exceptional. Loved the warm and courteous hospitality. Having a wide variety of tea leaves in the room along with a brewing kettle, was a unique touch. Would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fort Kochi area.

Loved our two nights here. Rooms were gorgeous and quiet and clean. Hotel was lovely and breakfast delicious (one of the best we had in India). Location was perfect - so close to the water. Pool was a welcome relief from the heat. Laundry was expensive.

We loved our three days in Eighth Bastion. The room was beautiful with a pool-side balcony complete with roof fan. Nice pool with umbrella shading, food was great, esp. breakfast dosa & pancakes, location is excellent, and above all, the staff are super-friendly and helpful.

The staff, the chef, Rahul, the lovely vocalists, the concierge and the beautiful ambiance made our trip just wonderful. The food was excellent and the property and our spacious room were additionally special. We loved our stay. Everyone was friendly and professional.
