The hotel is a function hotel - so it has a lot going on at the weekend. We weren’t part of that, and that’s fine, but we weren’t aware it has such a prime role as a function hotel when we booked. The room was good, the hotel facilities were good, everything was good apart from the food. That was very disappointing, particularly the cooked breakfast which was the worst breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The food was expensive for the quality, under seasoned, and all in all, not fine but not special. Given the price, we expected much better. I would actively avoid breakfast and go to a nice local cafe in Kidderminster - it would be cheaper and probably better.

Wonderfully historic building. The food was excellent both for breakfast and for dinner. Staff friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our first room where the key holder for the lighting was broken and we had to move to a smaller room with no views which was tiresome to do after a long journey and I think we could have been offered a glass of wine or something at dinner to make up for it but nothing was said. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was well equipped and modern. There is ample parking and a lovely garden with tables and chairs which will be lovely in the summer.

Tranquil, meticulously-appointed, don't be put off by the rather chi-chi menu. The food itself is beautifully prepared and presented. Parking is a dream, and service is fabulous.

Absolutely beautiful, clean, and well cared for hotel. Very quiet and peaceful even though they were hosting a wedding. We dined in the restaurant which was delicious and the breakfast was ordered and freshly cooked, if chosen. Beautiful hotel and lovely staff.

The hotel is situated in wonderful grounds. The room we had was spacious and clean. Would have preferred a larger shower than an oversized bathtub though! The staff were extraordinarily friendly and attentive. The food was incredible and some of the best we have had at any hotel. Great place to use as a base while in the area. They have set the bar extremely high, just hope they can maintain it!

The hotel itself is gorgeous. The bar area had a lovely luxurious cosy feel to it with a good range of cocktails. The bedrooms were large with very comfy superking beds and i am fussy! Fabulous breakfast and very good service from friendly and smiley staff!!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful in every way!! Its clean the rooms are clean its spotless. The staff are all wonderful and understanding, helpful. I really cant speak highly enough about the hotel and its staff. Its so homely got a lovely atmosphere. Its just wonderful love it so much!!!!

Another blissful stay. The hotel is so relaxing and quality from the minute you arrive. The welcome was warm and friendly The rooms spotless and so comfortable. The public rooms were also spotless and warm. The best thing about the place is the staff, nothing is too much trouble and they offer some of the best friendly service i have ever come across in a hotel

The hotel is just awesome. The member of staff during check-in was great and but then the only interaction with staff we had during breakfast. And they were truly fantastic. The majority appear to be uni students as they all seem that age. Every single one of them was very helpful, professional but super friendly. The food was gorgeous, prepared quickly and served beautifully. The bar was great and all sitting areas were beautifully decorated. The bedroom was spacious and super clean with the bathroom having a benefit of a large bath and underfloor heating. The only issue for me was the bed. Two single mattresses put together to make a large king size bed is never a comfortable solution and this one was not either. I struggled both nights and I must say I didn't have the best sleep unfortunately. Everything else was superb so thank you.

This hotel had been booked for some time and we did online checkin a few days before. When booking as a couple you would expect your double bed but get two singles pushed together. Also requested a quiet room away from lifts, stairs and roads as we are light sleepers. We were allocated a room at the top of the stairs and next to a fire door. Noise throughout the night with people talking outside the room and banging the fire door. We raised this at checkout and was very disappointed with the response half hearted response ‘oh well we were full’. The room was also a little dusty and windows could have been in a better state of repair.

Overall lovely hotel. We were unlucky with a room with a musky fishy smell which detracted from all the other lovely room features. I did notice some cobwebs in the room and a few patches of touch up white paint which didnt quite match which normally I would overlook. Staff lovely and room quiet. breakfast good and grounds wonderful.

Big variation in service, particularly at breakfast from basically being ignored first day to spot on, third day. Beautiful grounds, a pleasure to walk around, great place to sit outside with a leisurely drink. Bathroom felt “tired” needs updating and shower control very poor. We stayed three nights and paid in full on arrival but were asked to pay for all drinks and food as we went. It felt like we weren’t trusted. Apparently you can pay a “deposit” against food and beverage but we weren’t informed.

I had an enjoyable stay a short distance from Harvington Hall, the object of my visit. The food was very good, and there is a nice bar and lounge area (could do with some more draught bitters and draught Guinness pumps) but overall, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the hotel itself has a charming, peaceful atmosphere that makes it feel like a real retreat. The staff were friendly and the service, as always, was great. That said, we visited during the summer, and the lack of air conditioning was a bit of a challenge. The heat in the rooms was quite uncomfortable, especially overnight, which did take away from the overall experience this time around. The hotel is just awesome. The member of staff during check-in was great and but then the only interaction with staff we had during breakfast. And they were truly fantastic. The majority appear to be uni students as they all seem that age. Every single one of them was very helpful, professional but super friendly. The food was gorgeous, prepared quickly and served beautifully. The bar was great and all sitting areas were beautifully decorated. The bedroom was spacious and super clean with the bathroom having a benefit of a large bath and underfloor heating. The only issue for me was the bed. Two single mattresses put together to make a large king size bed is never a comfortable solution and this one was not either. I struggled both nights and I must say I didn't have the best sleep unfortunately. Everything else was superb so thank you.

The stay was as usual excellent . The only unfortunate issue, which was not the hotels fault, was a couple of rather loud and obnoxious people in the bar (who were not guests) that were verbally abusive to staff , using unfortunate language. This will not colour my opinion of the hotel and staff who are wonderful. Thank you for a lovely stay and a special mention to Joseph in the bar who looked after us all evening.

Great hotel and location although bar staff weren’t great - bar staff spilt cocktail down my husbands leg, drinks orders took a while and ordering a coffee felt like an inconvenience. Restaurant staff great and lovely meal - hotel well presented and maintained

Beautiful grounds very clean lovely decor. Resturant staff excellent v friendly and efficient. However arrival and departure procedures were lacking in warmth and pleasantrie normally expected from reception staff. We had to ask where the dinning room was and how to get to the room.

The staff were really welcoming, especially Joseph, behind the bar, who was so quick, friendly and efficient. Wendy, who brought us our breakfast was really helpful with advice and always made us feel at home. We loved wandering around the beautiful grounds, and there were so many places where we could sit, read, chat, have a drink and just enjoy the gorgeous landscape. The food was excellent with generous portions. There was lots of parking, and taxi service was readily available. A perfect romantic place to celebrate our anniversary.

I don't need to write much here, other than the staff were lovely, the hotel is clean, quaint and located in beautiful surroundings. I cannot fault the place. I was there with colleagues for work and i am already lookibgvto return with my wife for pleasure.

I had an enjoyable stay a short distance from Harvington Hall, the object of my visit. The food was very good, and there is a nice bar and lounge area (could do with some more draught bitters and draught Guinness pumps) but overall, I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the friendliness of the staff.

A lovely hotel beautiful surroundings. Room was amazing very comfortable bed. We ate there 2 nights and the food was amazing. A delicious breakfast plenty to choose from.

The hotel is a function hotel - so it has a lot going on at the weekend. We weren’t part of that, and that’s fine, but we weren’t aware it has such a prime role as a function hotel when we booked. The room was good, the hotel facilities were good, everything was good apart from the food. That was very disappointing, particularly the cooked breakfast which was the worst breakfast I’ve had in a long time. The food was expensive for the quality, under seasoned, and all in all, not fine but not special. Given the price, we expected much better. I would actively avoid breakfast and go to a nice local cafe in Kidderminster - it would be cheaper and probably better.

A comfortable stay in a superior room. Dinner in the restaurant was great with attentive staff serving excellent food and wine. Breakfast was busy and at times the buffet refresh was a little slow. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would recommend!

Very good - me and a friend stayed for one night only as Kidderminster is approx half way between us, we had a lovely stay, good bar and restaurant (wish it'd had a pool but never mind) - a very nice looking venue, friendly staff, clean and tidy. Would stay there again should the need arise.
