Five to Five Hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff. A budget choice with some nice touches such as the provision of toothbrushes and toothpaste. One omission was no tissues in the room, and the plumbing could do with improvement. However a great choice if you want to be in a very central part of town amongst the local people, rather than isolating yourself in one of the upmarket Western chains. Great views across Kigali from the restaurant and the most rooms, some of which have balconies. There is also an attractive outside space for the evening. Wi-Fi was usable most of the time but some short outages especially if viewing films. We would certainly go back.

Five to Five Hotel is a great place to stay. The staff is kind and courteous. The rooms are clean and convenient. The dining was spectacular and the patio area was safe, quiet, and and very beautiful. I will stay there on my future visits.

The staff are always welcoming and very helpful. The breakfast is very good. The rooms are good. Food is available 24/7. It is a great place to stay at having just arrived at the airport. The dining area is good. But the hotel lacks a lounge where you can just sit and relax if you stay more than one night.

This hotel was rated as a 4 star hotel. Our room was a city view with three beds. The space was quite small and cramped. It was not a luxury hotel. The rooms on the mountain side will have had nice views. I got a good discount with booking on hotels.com. I would stay here again with this discount only, not full price. The restaurant was fine.

Property is convenient to airport and a few eating places. Restaurant is good and free breakfast is nice. Water supply is there but no pressure. The BED is so HARD I am still hurting several days after leaving. Staff was very kind and gracious.

Shower and bathroom need updates

There is no refrigerator.

Staff was great., Welcomed with a nice glass of passion fruit juice. But nearby, seemingly right outside my window, which I could not completely close, there was a lot of loud talking until about 4 am. Terrible sleep. Perhaps there is a quiet side?

very small room for 100usd a day hotel. getting in to bathroom is a chore. breakfast mediocre. more of a over night stay hotel for people coming late night and moving next day

With the exception of a very firm bed, which is standard for East Africa, and inconsistency in shower water temperature, Five to Five was great.

As soon as I arrived, people at the front desk were asleep. The rooms were old and dated. The showers didn’t even have hot water. The hotel is overall terrible and would not return. I only stayed for one night and that was more than enough. Would not recommend

We picked this place because it had decent reviews and was very close to the airport but sadly the noise from outside was so loud we could barely sleep even after changing rooms . Not to mention we saw 2 different prostitute situations happening in the hotel which made it very uncomfortable to sleep without being completely disgusted. Great for a cheap night close to the airport if you don’t mind the things I mentioned. The staff was all very friendly though!!!

Amazing hotel. Staff go above and beyond to meet your needs and are super friendly and courteous. I will return to Five to Five hotel.

The staff are amazing! Everyone goes the extra .mile and thet exceed expectations every time. Our company uses this hotel often and will continue to do so. Value for money and good located.

Very helpful staff who accommodated me after getting ill.

The staff was very profesional and helpful. They picked us up from the airport after a very late arrival. They were veryy good at communicating and making sure our needs were met.

I booked a room on the 22/05/2024 for my sister and her son. They arrived at 3pm to check in, they were told the room was not ready. later, they were taken to the room but the bed sheets were not done. To make matters worst the room was not the one I saw on hotels.com. I asked the five to five receptionist why this was, she stated that was last room they had but they can issue me a refund if I wanted cancellation and I agreed with her . As per our agreement, I contacted hotels.com to cancel the booking and issue me a refund. And told me that they will do this but fist they have to contact the hotel and after giving them the name of person I made agreement with, I ended my chat with hotels.com. This morning, I had an email from hotels.com which told me that five to five refused to issue me a refund. I will make sure that either Hotels.com or five to five issue me a refund because I recorded all our chat and calls. In addition to this, While waiting for their room to be ready, my sister told me they hotel workers ignored her and her son but while giving refreshers and waters to their white their guests. My sister and her son felt really upset and told me they would never stay in the hotel.

Fantastic hotel for business stay! Excellent service and great stuff! Also it is walking distance to a great number of restaurants, shops pharmacies, and also closed to the Airport.

Good location from the airport. Responsive staff. Room was fine and air conditioning worked well. Not fancy but had all amenities. Restaurants nearby.
