Initial problem with check in very happily resolved. We stayed in room 6 and were extremely happy with the spacious room and facilities, very, very comfortable and relaxing. Especially as we had our dog - bed and feed bowls provided. Eating in the Factors Inn below was an added treat, and we eould cerrsinly recommend. You should be aware of where to pick key up, and no breakfast where you stay, and rooms upstairs, but dont be put off as it is quite a gem in its own right.

We enjoyed our stay, and the rooms are very nice and located in the Inn with a bar below it which is convenient for refreshing drinks after the journey. Would highly recommend staying at the Factors Inn.

Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Check in at the castle was easy and quick. However, the real highlight of The Factors is to have dinner downstairs. One of the best meals we had in our entire time in Scotland. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room was huge. It is an older room so the floors creak, which I did hear my neighbors walking around. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs which I decided not to eat at. Looked like it wasn’t very busy, so I drove into fort William which was about 15 minutes away and had more options for food. You have to check in at the castle down the road, staff was friendly. Bathroom had some gunk on the sink when I came in. It wiped right up. Overall great place and would stay again.

Lovely room - very spacious and easy parking. Only downsides were that the room was a bit musty smelling, one of the blinds wouldn’t close properly, and check-in was up at the castle which is a reasonable distance away over poorly maintained roads.

Absolutely beautiful cottage located about a 10 minute drive from the main area of Ft. Williams. The inn is also on the premise of a beautiful manor with gorgeous gardens and pathways that we walked. There is a bar and restaurant on site but we venture out to one of the local restaurants that had a live local band playing. The cottage has such charm. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to have a quiet, peaceful getaway from the main downtown area.

Ok, shower was terrible, little gnats in bathroom, sofa cushions in sitting area need to be replaced. Interlochy Castle tries to run it remotely, and basically it does not work. Tha staff at the castle and those we dealt at Factors for dinner were top notch.

Super cute space - loved that it was on the castle grounds (fun to explore and go on a nice long walk). Room was huge. Only downside was the room was quite damp (wet items didn't dry in 3 days with the heat on) and there was no fridge - which is tricky since you're sort of out in the middle of no where with not a lot of food options around, and a lot of hiking where you want snacks.

We were there 2 nights. Rooms are above the bar/pub so we could hear the music and noises from the kitchen. No hot water on the first day and no apologies or offer of compensation from the hotel. Located right on a busy highway going into Fort William. Definitely need a vehicle if planning to stay here as it is located a few miles from town. Rooms comfortable but bathrooms need updating. Not sure I would stay there again.

Our room was well decorated and spacious. It was very quiet at the Inn. We felt like we were the only people staying at the Inn. Factors Inn is very close to Fort William where we had dinner and did some souvenir shopping.

Check in at separate location was awkward and confusing. Staff rushed us out the door. Their only suggestion for dinner was the pub below our rooms. The pub was dead and had a strange smell. We found our own spot for dinner. The rooms while large are above the pub. We couldn’t sleep until those noise stopped around 11:30. The road near beside the location is also busy and load.

Son utilité reste un mystère.

The room was nice. My problem was the check in process. Our room was not ready on time. Once it was ready, the receptionist was going to drive down to the cottage in a golf cart but decided not to. Her directions were not very good and we had difficulty finding our room. There are 2cottages and they do not have the room numbers on the outside. Our key did not work well in the cottage where our room was, so we thought we were in the wrong spot. My husband finally got the door open and we found our room.

The check in is SO confusing. We checked in at the castle up the road. They stated we were in the cottage so we went to the cottage which did not have our room number. We went back to the castle and they finally told us to go to the pub and the room was above it. Great room, 2 bathrooms!

The room was huge. It is an older room so the floors creak, which I did hear my neighbors walking around. There was a bar and restaurant downstairs which I decided not to eat at. Looked like it wasn’t very busy, so I drove into fort William which was about 15 minutes away and had more options for food. You have to check in at the castle down the road, staff was friendly. Bathroom had some gunk on the sink when I came in. It wiped right up. Overall great place and would stay again.

Check in was horrible. First, you have to go back and check in at the Castle. There are NO perks. They show food and restaurant in the website and there is NONE. You can go to breakfast back at the Castle for 38pounds each. We asked about dinner for the 2 nights we would be there and they were booked solid (my fault). We wanted to sit outside and have a glass of wine and there was not a table or a chair anywhere. It was just a very disappointing experience. We stayed the next 2 nights at the Inch Hotel in Fort Augustus. It was awesome. Apparently, they are part of the same hotel group and they were very upset at our report when we were talking to them about it. We found a little place at the golf course 5 minutes away... The Caddy Shack. It was fantastic. Great bar, sweet people and good food. We went to dinner there twice and breakfast once. They told us that the restaurant at the Inn has been closed since before COVID. It seems the website could be easily updated to reflect the current situation. I will never book the Factor again.

Super cute space - loved that it was on the castle grounds (fun to explore and go on a nice long walk). Room was huge. Only downside was the room was quite damp (wet items didn't dry in 3 days with the heat on) and there was no fridge - which is tricky since you're sort of out in the middle of no where with not a lot of food options around, and a lot of hiking where you want snacks.

We were there 2 nights. Rooms are above the bar/pub so we could hear the music and noises from the kitchen. No hot water on the first day and no apologies or offer of compensation from the hotel. Located right on a busy highway going into Fort William. Definitely need a vehicle if planning to stay here as it is located a few miles from town. Rooms comfortable but bathrooms need updating. Not sure I would stay there again.

Our room was well decorated and spacious. It was very quiet at the Inn. We felt like we were the only people staying at the Inn. Factors Inn is very close to Fort William where we had dinner and did some souvenir shopping.

Lovely room - very spacious and easy parking. Only downsides were that the room was a bit musty smelling, one of the blinds wouldn’t close properly, and check-in was up at the castle which is a reasonable distance away over poorly maintained roads.

Absolutely beautiful cottage located about a 10 minute drive from the main area of Ft. Williams. The inn is also on the premise of a beautiful manor with gorgeous gardens and pathways that we walked. There is a bar and restaurant on site but we venture out to one of the local restaurants that had a live local band playing. The cottage has such charm. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to have a quiet, peaceful getaway from the main downtown area.

Nous avons plutôt opté pour un restaurant situé dans un camping et offrant des services de buanderie très faciles à utiliser. De plus, on nous a demandé un dépôt de 38£, ce qui était imprévu. Son utilité reste un mystère.

When I booked to stay here I didn't know what I was actually booking since I only needed a room for one night and this was the only option close to the Fort William train station that was left. WOW! I was blown away by it!!! The rooms were amazing! The dinning area and dinner was wonderful. I've already decided that when it comes time for my honeymoon this will be place I want it at.

Rooms were very nice and comfortable. Check in at the castle was easy and quick. However, the real highlight of The Factors is to have dinner downstairs. One of the best meals we had in our entire time in Scotland. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I was surprised. It is part of the Inverlochy hotel. An excellent hotel but the separate cottage was not. For the price I could have had a wonderful night in a very good hotel near London. But not here. Check in was abrupt. Not very helpful and I was felt to be a very much second class citizen. I was even asked for my passport! I live 100 miles away. The room was basic. It was upstairs in a cottage; that’s fine but next to someone who was noisy the whole night. Doors closing at 2/3am. Loos flushing. People getting up and talking outside the room at 6am. All in all disastrous and not to be repeated. I asked if the car would be safe and was told yes, it’s in a secluded area. It wasn’t. It was 10 yds off the main road. The cord string light pull was dirty, the soap non existent. The shampoo useless for more than a quick wash for one. Coffee! Don’t get me started. I remember hotels like that 30 years ago. Come on inverlochy. Pull your socks up. Make it better and you will build a better reputation. You make a process and product shameful in Scottish hospitality. It should be less money grabbing and more “Welcome to Scotland”.

Bra läge då boendet är nära både Fort William men även Ben Nevis som vi vandrade i. Boendet ligger ovanpå en bar vilket också var smidigt för middag och drinkar men absolut tyst och inte störande ljud från baren.

Property is secluded from the main house and beside a pub underneath that just serves 4 expensive things for dinner only there is no other amenities in this place. The room is big and beautiful but nothing else is going on.
