Stayed in one of the signature suites and it was fantastic. Really enjoyed my stay there and will definitely stay here again. I did get caught out with the parking refund but that was probably my fault for not reading the small print when I booked. You must rebook the parking with Qpark online and use the discount code provided by the hotel otherwise it’s full price.

Beautiful hotel - luxury high end rooms with great amenities. Could do with in-room fridges. Staff were great although a few of the bar staff were unwelcoming and tried to hassle us into buying drinks. Otherwise fabulous

Fantastic location. Hotel was great. We didn’t have food but the drinks were spot on. WiFi was shocking. Overall a great stay, would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay but were disappointed with the rooms facilities. Instant coffee, no robes etc it was just basic considering. The decor was nice and the bar area was busy with a good atmosphere.

Nice quiet room with a good mattress and a decent shower. Staff were really nice, especially the bar staff who helped me navigate the tremendous cocktail menu.

Best place to stay in Leeds. Room was super comfortable, breakfast was good, location on point and parking nearby. Great place to work from the next morning too. Highly recommend.

Second Dakota hotel we've stayed in and loved it. Great location. Great facilities - the bar is lovely and has an outdoor terrace too. Rooms are immaculate and come with Molton Brown toilettries. Parking about a 5 minute walk away and not badly priced for city centre. Room was lovely. Only downside was we were given plain white slippers vs the grey branded ones we got when we stayed in Manchester which are nice keepsakes. Other than that a lovely trip.

Wonderful property in the heart of Leeds. But true to the Leeds city center road system, the hotel is not convenient to access nor does it offer onsite parking. The Dakota has a wonderful aesthetic throughout and is immaculately presented. Staff could be more attentive in the lobby. However, the housekeeping team are excellent. Certainly based upon our experience in Leeds, this is the best option in the city center and is highly recommended.

Stayed two nights at Dakota Leeds to attend a friends daughters wedding. Excellent hotel in centre of Leeds with great customer service. Immaculate throughout with great staff On arrival our room was upgraded to a balcony room which gave a lovely outside seating area. As weather beautifully sunny this was a lovely bonus

The rooms in The Dakota are lovely, luxurious furnishings and the comfiest bed. There is great attention to detail in the public areas and the guest rooms. Everywhere smells lovely too. Breakfast is good value and the Afternoon Tea is exceptional. We keep going back to the Dakota because of the excellent Customer Service, all the reception, and concierge staff have been kind and attentive to our needs. Courtney and Grace are both a credit to the Dakota team in Leeds.

Nice welcome, complementary drink, room was ready and cleaned to a high standard. We added breakfast as an extra but the service could have been better. We weren’t given toast with the full breakfast, had to ask and the. Wait quite a while, by which time we had eaten the breakfast. Bar staff were friendly, efficient service, good atmosphere. Hotel was spotless, lovely and warm, room was comfortable and the shower was amazing.

Leeds is limited on five star hotels. The five star status is why we chose this location. It’s nice, but average for a five star establishment. The interiors are purposefully dark (nightclub dark). It’s very moody, but it needs more light, including the rooms, corridors and elevators. The pluses; staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean. A small range of complimentary refrigerated beverages in the room, including fresh cows milk (nice touch). Bed is large and nice and comfy. TVs in the living area and in the bedroom. Areas that need improvement; Wire shower basket doesn’t hold the Milton brown toiletries upright that are supplied as the gaps in the caddy are too wide. Towels; one on the heated radiator, the other tucked away in a basket underneath the sewing kit and other items (slightly strange set up). More space needed for your cosmetics and toiletries. Including hooks to hang travel kits (ended up hanging outs off the light fixture. Breakfast is okay depending on what you want. The full English was greasy. Overall I’d say the stay was fine. We made it work, but I think we’d explore other options if we ever return to Leeds.

The receptionist was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. Beautiful room, great facilities, Nespresso machine (an essential for caffeine addicts like me!), strong hans gröher shower, Molton Brown toiletries, big TV, lots of mirrors, effective air conditioning and right in the centre of Leeds. Would definitely stay again.

Having stayed in the Mcr Dakota, I thought I’d give this one a try. A nice hotel in the Centre of Leeds. We had a classic room on the fourth floor. The only issue I had was that the room overlooked the bars across the road. The music was rather loud. We asked the receptionist at the end of the evening whether it gets quiet later on. The receptionist informed us that at around 11 it quietens. Unfortunately there was still music blasting at 12:30. At that point I put ear plugs in and went to sleep. I appreciate that it was a Saturday night; however for the price I would expect a quiet room. So if anyone is thinking of staying here then consider staying on the other side of the hotel. It has put me off staying there unfortunately as I don’t think it’s worth the price. Maybe consider including breakfast in the price? Even then I’d probably prefer to stay in the Marriott. Lovely looking hotel overall though.

Stayed at this hotel on the 4/7/2024 It was a lovely hotel but our air conditioning was broke so the room was so warm. They gave us a fab but this didn’t help. For the price of the hotel I was disappointed!!

Great service as always. We dine here and have drinks quite often however this time it was for my birthday. Receptionist was kind enough to offer early check (at a cost) which is fine as it was nearly 3 hours before the usual check in, so that the room could be decorated. Room was clean and spacious, again room service staff were excellent.

Terrible service and attitude at dinner, asked for ice three times, asked for the bill three times, had the service charge taken off and the waiter came back with no receipt so didn’t know what we were paying. Left the restaurant and the staff were pointing and laughing at us. Room tv wasn’t working, kettle didn’t stop boiling unless turned off.

Booked a table for 6:30 , when my colleague and myself went to the restaurant at 6:30 we were told that we didnt have reservation and madr to wait. Thier was only 7 other customers in the restaurant and lots of spare tables. We had to ask three times for ice and three times for the bill. The serive was very slow. The attidute of the male server was short and rude. We asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill as the service was very poor. This was questioned. The server took the bill and when he returned to the table he did have the bill, he said all on one card as we had no visablity of the bill we had to ask for it again. As we left the restaurant the male and female server where laughting and point as us. It made us very uncomfortable. To top thing off, when i went to my room the TV didnt work.

The Dakota has a wonderful aesthetic throughout and is immaculately presented. Staff could be more attentive in the lobby. However, the housekeeping team are excellent. Certainly based upon our experience in Leeds, this is the best option in the city center and is highly recommended.

Wonderful property in the heart of Leeds. But true to the Leeds city center road system, the hotel is not convenient to access nor does it offer onsite parking. The Dakota has a wonderful aesthetic throughout and is immaculately presented. Staff could be more attentive in the lobby. However, the housekeeping team are excellent. Certainly based upon our experience in Leeds, this is the best option in the city center and is highly recommended.

The receptionist was lovely, very helpful and welcoming. Beautiful room, great facilities, Nespresso machine (an essential for caffeine addicts like me!), strong hans gröher shower, Molton Brown toiletries, big TV, lots of mirrors, effective air conditioning and right in the centre of Leeds. Would definitely stay again.

Beautifully presented hotel and room, lovely stay. Super comfy bed (we opted for the King room). And the shower was nice and powerful. In terms of the location, the hotel is right on the back of Greek St with loads of cocktail bars and restaurants nearby. Close walking distance to the shopping area too. Will stay again when next in Leeds.

Beautiful hotel and the rooms were just like the pictures. Room service menu was small but what i ordered was lovely. Beautiful ambient lighting throughout and staff very courteous.

The rooms in The Dakota are lovely, luxurious furnishings and the comfiest bed. There is great attention to detail in the public areas and the guest rooms. Everywhere smells lovely too. Breakfast is good value and the Afternoon Tea is exceptional. We keep going back to the Dakota because of the excellent Customer Service, all the reception, and concierge staff have been kind and attentive to our needs. Courtney and Grace are both a credit to the Dakota team in Leeds.

Breakfast was understaffed, continental choice was so limited it was a waste of time, full yorksire breakfast was unpleasant, black pudding was fried to death, feied egg was like cold jelly. Yiy have yo give yiur bread to a waiter to take away for toasting they then bring this to you so you can take this to the bowls of jam etc. Quite a performance

The stay was very good. Starter in the restaurant was loveky but both main meals a disappointment. My cod loin was wet ,sloppy and not very warm. Unfortunately we are both non complainers but we should really have said something about my meal last night.

Booked a table for 6:30 , when my colleague and myself went to the restaurant at 6:30 we were told that we didnt have reservation and madr to wait. Thier was only 7 other customers in the restaurant and lots of spare tables. We had to ask three times for ice and three times for the bill. The serive was very slow. The attidute of the male server was short and rude. We asked for the service charge to be removed from the bill as the service was very poor. This was questioned. The server took the bill and when he returned to the table he did have the bill, he said all on one card as we had no visablity of the bill we had to ask for it again. As we left the restaurant the male and female server where laughting and point as us. It made us very uncomfortable. To top thing off, when i went to my room the TV didnt work.

We stayed at Dakota for our wedding in Leeds and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The hotel is stunning and the interior decor made for some great pictures on the morning of the wedding. We opted for the signature suite to ensure there was plenty of space for a bridal party to get ready. Not only is the hotel beautiful, every staff member we met was lovely and couldn’t have been more accommodating. In particular Dave on the door was amazing and nothing was too much trouble, including rallying around us on the morning ensuring we had fans, mirrors, stools and plenty of refreshments when getting ready. Thank you for making our stay feel so special and we can’t wait to stay again in the future.

How were your Hosts? 9.5/10 Hosts were impeccable on arrival. They offered prosecco for our anniversary and left a celebration plate of chocolates in our room. Our bags were taken to our room on check in. They were polite and friendly. On checkout, I mentioned we would be returning as our stay was perfect, one woman behind the desksaid they would love to welcome us back and maybe we could book directly with them next time. We booked this night as a cheeky stay as on our way to Carlisle the following day and this was half way and we wanted somewhere nice. We used our Tesco Clubcard points to cover majority of the price. Which we often do. This comment I felt was unnecessary and made me feel like I was cheap and had the appearance I couldn'tpay full price. untill this comment it was a 10/10. How clean was the Dakota hotel? 10/10 The room and the whole hotel was spotless How were the facilities and amenities? 9.5/10 The room was perfect. They had a coffee machine and selection of drinks. Every fixture and fitted mirrored the quality shown throughout the hotel. Especially pleased with the curling tongs plate on the dressing table. The hotel food and drinks were in the higher price range and the service price and Vat were added after. How did you sleep? 10/10 The Aircon really helped How was breakfast? - We didn't stay for the breakfast. We checked out and went to Bills round the corner Would you stay again ? YES
