We had a lovely stay at The White Horse, such an amazing property. We had a great meal, drinks in the well set our beer garden and a lovely breakfast. The room was finished beautifully, lovely touches from the decor, amazing shower, gorgeous toiletries to good tea & coffee. The staff were really friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The food was really good. Although no elevator the staff were super accommodating as my older mother was traveling with me and they carried bags to our room. The English hot tea was best we had in England.

Attractive room. Very nice, large bed and bedding. Good value - breakfast included and free parking. Accessible for Canterbury, Faversham and Whitstable.

Had a very pleasant stay at the White Horse. Large car park with plenty of spaces, nice refurbished room in an old pub so clean and comfortable but without losing it character, excellent powerfull shower which could practically blow your nipples off and a very good range of tea and coffee in the room including decaf coffee bags. Very good fast wifi. Excellent supper in the restaurant with beautifully cooked vegetables. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Positives: - quiet - family run - nicely renovated & clean - bar and restaurant onsite - nice comfortable rooms - very polite and nice staff Improvements: - bathroom smells mouldy - need a shower curtain (water allover floor) - WiFi reception could be better in room - not sure why the garden area with all the picnic tables was locked and unavailable. We had a lovely weekend stay. The room was comortable and itcas at the back so quiet. The breakfast was great and the garden at the back was a pleasant place to sit with a drink. Its well situated not too far from canterbury or whitstable we visited both.

Amazing stay at this hotel following a wedding locally. Late check in so we were able to get our key from a keysafe. Honesty pantry in case you needed a snack or drink. Room was lovely & tidy and bathroom very luxurious with a roll top bath. A bottle of water provided too 😊

A delightful part of Kent to stay over, and the White Horse was a nice find. Comfortable, clean and modern, with very traditional country pub undertones. Staff were happy and helpful, and the breakfast options excellent (although my poached eggs were cold for some reason). On arrival the car park is sizeable so there are no concerns there. A little road noise with the window open, but overall I can’t complain at all and would certainly stay again.

Plenty of free parking. Received a warm welcome. Was shown to the room and asked what time I wanted breakfast. I was immediately impressed with the pub area, and the corridors to the room. It was tastefully decorated whilst still respecting the old features of the building. The room was also well decorated, and spotless. Biscuits and a vast array of very nice tea bags and some coffee bags too. Only 2 downsides really was no rail to hang clothes, there’s hooks but not ideal. Also soundproofing wasn’t good, I could hear the bathroom sounds of the neighbouring room very clearly. I did find the pillows too soft, but that’s a minor gripe. Breakfast was delicious, a tad salty but it was clearly high quality so props to the chef. Wish I had eaten dinner there too the night before. So perhaps I shall return to try something else. Also for future guests reading this, the WiFi password is in the welcome book by the teabags! Would be great if it was on the wooden keying, or somewhere more obvious though.

Lovely comfortable and clean room. Bathroom door got a bit stuck but wasnt a massive issue. Bed was so comfortable. It was a warm night but an excellent touch providing a fan for the room. Loved that there was lots of options of apps on the smart tv. Great for a relaxing evening. Food and service for dinner and breakfast was good too. Will definitely be back

The room was unbearably hot, it seemed like it was trapped heat as the corridors etc were not that warm. We barely slept because of this and the bed for us personally was too firm and hurt our backs. The bathroom fan was CAKED in dust but everywhere else was clean. Breakfast was too busy for one staff member and it took over 20 mins just to order, plus many tables had dirty cups on which made it hard to find a table to sit at. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.

Recently renovated, a lot of thought and effort put in to the renovation. Check in; staff were, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Bedroom was clean, space enough and tidy. Plenty of tea, coffee etc and a good variety. Bathroom clean, great shower and plenty of good quality toiletries. Dining, good choice and well prepared. Staff polite, informative and attentive, but did not pester. Breakfast, large varied choice and plenty of it. A most pleasant and relaxing overnight stay.

Beautifully renovated rooms in a lovely building. Large, comfortable beds and clean, new bathrooms. Friendly owners, very welcoming to our toddler and our dog. Nice breakfast included. Staying again on our return journey and have recommended it to family and friends.

Beautiful location and lovely building, which has recently been refurbished. Very clean and tidy. Special thanks to all the very helpful and pleasant staff, especially the girls who were serving in the restaurant at dinner and the chef - food was really good. A minor point was lack of space in the room for clothes, and a shelf and towel rack in the bathroom would have been handy. Would definitely recommend the White Horse, though, we had a lovely stay.

Staff were super excellent and friendly. Thx breakfast we had (full English) was cooked excellently and made with really first rate produce. Shame there wasn’t any fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal though. Room was small but clean and comfortable and when revamping the bathroom they should have put a light over the bathroom mirror. We stayed in room 10 which, if you’re an early to bed type, could be an issue due to kitchen extractor just outside window. Earplugs were provided in bedside cabinets!

I spent a lovely night at the White Horse, a very unique and historical coaching inn. The room was gorgeous with a massive comfy bed, a lovely sofa and a big clawfoot bath with a shower. It was clean and the lovely bathrobes were bliss. Great quality tea and coffee options in the room were a nice touch too. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The village is quaint with a great history. There's plenty of off street parking and lots of nice walks nearby. Food and drink options at the inn are good too. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely head back there.

Lovely place to stay. Our room (10) was very quiet. It was a bit warm but it is summer so to be expected. Bed was comfortable. Food was fantastic for brekkie. Lots of options and very generous. Lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful.

It was really good and had a great time . Food, staff and accommodation was really good . The rooms could be more sound absorbent as our neighbour was still talking loudly at 3am so sleep was difficult

Clean and well presented room. Good amenities in the room. Couldn’t fully open window so hot but fan provided (though limited effect). Excellent evening meal but breakfast was not the best. A nice stay overall

Cozy and historic inn hotel, nicely refurbished rooms with nice bath and shower. Breakfast was very good with excellent quality tea and coffee. Also easy parking and friendly staff… definitely a recommended stay in quiet village near Canterbury and Whitstable.

The food was really good. Although no elevator the staff were super accommodating as my older mother was traveling with me and they carried bags to our room. The English hot tea was best we had in England.

The room was unbearably hot, it seemed like it was trapped heat as the corridors etc were not that warm. We barely slept because of this and the bed for us personally was too firm and hurt our backs. The bathroom fan was CAKED in dust but everywhere else was clean. Breakfast was too busy for one staff member and it took over 20 mins just to order, plus many tables had dirty cups on which made it hard to find a table to sit at. Unfortunately wouldn’t recommend.

Great staff who were attentive and very helpful. Lovely room with comfortable bed, good food to, had a surf and turf which came with a lobster bisque saurce which was exceptional and something I will look for again. A nice touch I thought were the magnetic contactless charging points either side of the bed which were unexpected 10/10 for that.

We had a lovely break at the White Horse last weekend. We were made very welcome as soon as we arrived. The hotel staff were very helpful. Also very dog-friendly.

Lovely old hotel, decorated and fitted out to a high standard, I had the twin room because nothing else left so found it a little uncomfortable. Walls are thin so you can hear everything in the next rooms. My main concern was being ignored in the restaurant, after waiting in the bar area for service to no avail I went through to the restaurant, asked for a table and was told I can sit anywhere, I was given a menu, I sat and waited for service, some time passed then after watching a group of 4 enter the restaurant get served drinks then have their order taken whilst I still hadn’t been asked if I’d like a drink I decided to leave and go to the Indian restaurant, where I was served immediately. Won’t be returning.

Lovely pub hotel near Faversham. Great manager and lovely breakfast. Rooms and hotel very clean. Would recommend if you are looking for a good place to stay for a night or two at a good price in this area

Thank you for your friendly welcome and cheerful staff. The bar, restaurant and bedroom is beautifully designed and decorated. The big bed is really comfortable and we loved the new bathroom with rolltop bath and sunflower shower. Fabulous drinks and breakfast. Only 30 mins to Dover port...we'll be back!!

An excellent accommodation. Close to Canterbury and property is very cosy and stay, the staff very friendly and professional, super clean and owner designed place very well. Plenty of parking place. Definitely recommend to others

Lovely relaxed atmosphere - 1 night stop over en route to the Tunnel and France with a dog. Great staff and really felt everyone wanted us to enjoy our brief stay.

We had a lovely weekend stay. The room was comortable and itcas at the back so quiet. The breakfast was great and the garden at the back was a pleasant place to sit with a drink. Its well situated not too far from canterbury or whitstable we visited both.

Recently renovated, a lot of thought and effort put in to the renovation. Check in; staff were, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. Bedroom was clean, space enough and tidy. Plenty of tea, coffee etc and a good variety. Bathroom clean, great shower and plenty of good quality toiletries. Dining, good choice and well prepared. Staff polite, informative and attentive, but did not pester. Breakfast, large varied choice and plenty of it. A most pleasant and relaxing overnight stay.

A delightful part of Kent to stay over, and the White Horse was a nice find. Comfortable, clean and modern, with very traditional country pub undertones. Staff were happy and helpful, and the breakfast options excellent (although my poached eggs were cold for some reason). On arrival the car park is sizeable so there are no concerns there. A little road noise with the window open, but overall I can’t complain at all and would certainly stay again.

Not to impressed with the hotel or the staff. Breakfast didn’t include a cup of tea had to pay £3 extra 😡. Just a blatant rip off .

Excellent choice of food for breakfast, served by Frankie who was an absolute star! Gemma greeted us warmly when we arrived. Plenty of parking, several spaces reserved for guests.

Parking very good; no complaints there. WiFi connection in the evening non-existent. Advised by a member of staff that “yeah, it can be a bit hit and miss”. A bit? Connection was impossible. Not good enough. When told prior to booking that WiFi functions in all rooms, l expect it to function. End of. Shower head height adjustment defunct, so shower head at chest level in room 11. Housekeeping will know about this problem so please just fix it. It’s very straightforward.

Lovely stay in the Nightingale Suite. High quality bedding and teas and coffees in room. Beautiful furnishings too. Breakfast was good although no continental buffet choice. Also service fairly slow due to only one waiting staff. Perhaps a buffet offering of fruits, yoghurts, pastries etc would alleviate the longish wait a little from sitting down and getting served? Breakfast was great and especially loved the proper leaf tea served. Would recommend and definitely book again.
