Second time to stay. We love that the hotel is pet friendly. Need a little bit improvement with the internet provider. Some rooms have internet tv while some just have a basic cable that only have less than 5 channels. But great facility and staff. Will be back again.

Staff were attentive, but lack options for alcoholic beverages, very convenient to the beach, could used some work on making their pool/beach patio a little bit more desirable to chill, n relax.

Would NOT recommend this hotel. 1. Matresses are hard as a rock. After consulting the manager(who assured me something would be done to soften up the bed) nothing was done as promised, until i complained to the evening desk clerk. We were given a matress to use that was 12 inches narrower than the previous one. Finally had to go buy my own 4" foam matress topper at the shopping mall to keep my back from hurting for the balance of our 12 day stay. The manager never followed up with me... No attempts at \'customer service recovery\'. 2. Shower water is luke warm at best and water pressure dismal. 3. House staff is nice. 4. Pool is dirty. 5. Menu selection is so so... 6. Toliet backed up twice and overflowed once. 7. Hallways are noisey.... Dogs parking inside the hotel at 2 AM. 8. At 4am on the first night, a drunk person tried to break down a room door down the hall from us. Police were called. Save your money. Stay ANYWHERE else.

On site pool, beach and direct access to ocean. Ocean waves can be strong here but long beach to run or walk if desired (local vendors on beach). Road to site can be narrow and passes through residential back yards. On site parking appears limited as compared to room amounts for levels of complex. Good elevator on site. Decent food onsite local and western. Check in can be a task if a busy time. Room is basic and bathroom is local, very low water pressure due to restrictive shower head but warm. Concrete support next to bed edge (head strike issue) and toilet placed very close to door (typical). Pet friendly and local dogs on site.

We arrived and no room was ready, meaning no toiletries, towels etc, we had to ask for them even though we called day before to let them know of our ETA, bathroom was tiny( not like the pic) and shower had 3 water spurts working, couldn’t properly shower, sliding door to balcony was broken, couldn’t close properly or lock so our first half hour of being there we had to watch the maintenance man fix it, great stat to our stay(NOT). Second day we had ants around the bed so they sprayed, ants came back next day, asked for more towels and linen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner we had to eat outside as the inside dining was being used for a conference and weren’t allowed to dine in, we also had to keep asking them to send us a waiter so we could order. The only good points about the resort is the good location, the food was nice, and the swimming pool which we used everyday bcoz the beach was closed for swimming. I wouldn’t go back to be honest.

7.2 “Good view with easy access to beach but slightly far from restaurants” Hotel is easily seen and accessible from the main road. Its just that if you don’t have car, you have to ride tricycle going to Urbiztondo beach where commercial stores (restaurants, bar, etc.) are located and also the surfing point. It is 10-15 mins away from the hotel. Preferably book this online than on-site because it is way cheaper. Hotel is okay, a little old & typical look but good enough for couples or families who wants to have a quiet place rather than the busy area of San Juan. It also has a pool with easy access to beach area. It is not crowded. Staffs are accommodating when we checked in and also when we extended our stay. Down side we found are shower water pressure is low, the 2nd room where we were transferred (due to extended stay) – aircon is not working enough to cool the whole room, no nearby restaurants or convenience store. Good side of this hotel is it has a great view in the morning and afternoon if you chose beach side rooms and at upper floors.

The room (101) is spacious, we were a group of 7pax, two queen beds and two double-size beds, lots of space for luggages. However, bringing food and snacks in the hotel have corkage fee, I have been to a lot of hotel resorts local and international but this is the first time I heard such hotel policy. The reason for my three-stars rating.

First during checking in process, a guy staff claims that my reserved room which is a King Size bed with an Oceanfront view was unavailable, so they are giving me 2 twin bed with a Mountain View. it's surprises me when there was only 3 cars at the parking. I told him that, that's it not right and i refused to be downgraded with the same price. Great place to stay and to unwind. We are in 3rd flr beach front and it was amazing. Internet is good with 15 to 20mbps. Good for staycation and wfh. Room description is misleading, room with free breakfast when you book but No free breakfast when you arrived.

What I like is that it's location is scenic beachfront. The building and facilities like the swimming pool is relative new. But the hotel is poorly managed. The staff lacks training seemed incompetent at times. They don't fully grasp the nature of the hotel business.

On site pool, beach and direct access to ocean. Ocean waves can be strong here but long beach to run or walk if desired (local vendors on beach). Road to site can be narrow and passes through residential back yards. On site parking appears limited as compared to room amounts for levels of complex. Good elevator on site. Decent food onsite local and western. Check in can be a task if a busy time. Room is basic and bathroom is local, very low water pressure due to restrictive shower head but warm. Concrete support next to bed edge (head strike issue) and toilet placed very close to door (typical). Pet friendly and local dogs on site.

Front beach property, just seps away from the beach. My only comment and concern was that at 3:00 in the morning someone opened my niece’s room and someone entered in their room. I’m not sure if that’s a mistake at the front where they issued a key to a room which was already occupied. This is a safety and needs to address because you don’t know if that person who entered my neice’s room has a bad intention. Otherwise the property is good, it won’t have been nice if they offer free breakfast.

We recently stayed at the Em Royalle, and I must say I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The hotel's attention to detail was shockingly poor, making my stay quite unpleasant. Firstly, upon check-in, I noticed that the bed set was lacking a top sheet. Upon request, the staff insisted that that's how they make the bed. It was clear that the staff had not paid attention to detail. Secondly, we were lacking basic toiletries such as towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes. We asked for housekeeping services but they replaced the bath rug with a worn out rug, very poor. Furthermore, the service was lackluster. The front desk staff seemed disinterested and unprofessional, failing to address my concerns promptly. Our room key kept on resetting at 12 noon and we have to request access from thr front desk. It was evident that there was a lack of proper training and supervision. I was extremely satisfied with the kitchen services and the food was great. Location is pristine since the hotel is by the beach. Overall, my experience at Em Royalle Hotel 2/5. Our family traveled a long ways and was quite excited to be at this hotel and did not expect the situation we were going to experience here . We were even so proud that that was in our hometown that we recommended this place to friends to check in at the same time , little did we know there would be a bunch of issues at this hotel , that would embarrass us to our friends . Upon check in , the don’t have the room we booked available and there’s some guests making complaints at front desk. We then had to check in separate rooms . Wi fi, shower and toilet not working . Next day we had to transfer to another room , better , but still toilet and Wi-Fi not working . To be fair ,the housekeepers / security guard & dining staff did their best to try to help during our stay . A Front desk lady then had to enumerate things /charges that could be potentially charged to us which was quite insensitive to the inconveniences we had. We met the owner who was nice and took all our grievances and it we presented it to be positive feedback to better the hotel services / room situation. I liked the beach, it’s clean and shallow not that deep so it is safe. What i didn’t like is the service, actually they are not customer oriented… the receptionists were not that attentive in receiving and talking to customers, no warm welcome, we’ve to asked for assistance upin checked in… every time we sat at their outdoor resto, nobody came to us so we have to sought for service personnel after 20-30mins waiting. Orders that were not available was mentioned after 30 mins, jam and butter that were included in the continental breakfast were serve after 30 mins were breakfast was already eaten… The de luxe rooms are just minimalist, no tel. no safety box, no cabinet in the bathroom just toilet and basin. The owners dogs are loud, barking too much in the pool area and the main doors of the rooms are not that intact. Will never return to this hotel!

Its just that if you don’t have car, you have to ride tricycle going to Urbiztondo beach where commercial stores (restaurants, bar, etc.) are located and also the surfing point. It is 10-15 mins away from the hotel. Preferably book this online than on-site because it is way cheaper. Hotel is okay, a little old & typical look but good enough for couples or families who wants to have a quiet place rather than the busy area of San Juan. It also has a pool with easy access to beach area. It is not crowded. Staffs are accommodating when we checked in and also when we extended our stay. Down side we found are shower water pressure is low, the 2nd room where we were transferred (due to extended stay) – aircon is not working enough to cool the whole room, no nearby restaurants or convenience store. Good side of this hotel is it has a great view in the morning and afternoon if you chose beach side rooms and at upper floors.

We arrived and no room was ready, meaning no toiletries, towels etc, we had to ask for them even though we called day before to let them know of our ETA, bathroom was tiny( not like the pic) and shower had 3 water spurts working, couldn’t properly shower, sliding door to balcony was broken, couldn’t close properly or lock so our first half hour of being there we had to watch the maintenance man fix it, great stat to our stay(NOT). Second day we had ants around the bed so they sprayed, ants came back next day, asked for more towels and linen. Breakfast, lunch and dinner we had to eat outside as the inside dining was being used for a conference and weren’t allowed to dine in, we also had to keep asking them to send us a waiter so we could order. The only good points about the resort is the good location, the food was nice, and the swimming pool which we used everyday bcoz the beach was closed for swimming. I wouldn’t go back to be honest.

The room (101) is spacious, we were a group of 7pax, two queen beds and two double-size beds, lots of space for luggages. However, bringing food and snacks in the hotel have corkage fee, I have been to a lot of hotel resorts local and international but this is the first time I heard such hotel policy. The reason for my three-stars rating.

I paid for 9500 pesos for a room good for 4 people and the staff informed us prior checking in that we have free breakfast and when we were trying to claim our free breakfast they made us pay for it because they said it wasnt available for the kind of room we booked. Imagine paying almost 10k without any free breakfast meal and take note the breakfast we paid for was not even worth 300 pesos per meal but that was the price of the breakfast meal that was charged on us. Very disappointing.

We recently stayed at the Em Royalle, and I must say I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The hotel's attention to detail was shockingly poor, making my stay quite unpleasant. Firstly, upon check-in, I noticed that the bed set was lacking a top sheet. Upon request, the staff insisted that that's how they make the bed. It was clear that the staff had not paid attention to detail. Secondly, we were lacking basic toiletries such as towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes. We asked for housekeeping services but they replaced the bath rug with a worn out rug, very poor. Furthermore, the service was lackluster. The front desk staff seemed disinterested and unprofessional, failing to address my concerns promptly. Our room key kept on resetting at 12 noon and we have to request access from thr front desk. It was evident that there was a lack of proper training and supervision. I was extremely satisfied with the kitchen services and the food was great. Love our short stay here with my dog Mochi. The staff are friendly and accommodating .The place is also peaceful , away from the crowd, though the restaurants are further. The food is also good. Can’t wait to bring my partner here soon.

No outside food allowed inside the hotel but their restaurant closes at 7pm, you gonna starve yourself the whole night. If you bring food inside, they will charge your food P300/kg, its ridiculous! I’ve been to many places, here and abroad, this is the craziest hotel rules I’ve ever encounter. One more thing, i booked 2 rooms with 2 queen bed size, but I only get 1 room with 2 queens, the other one is 2 full beds. The place is nice but if you don’t want to ruin your day, better to go somewhere else. I don’t recommend this place.

We were given rooms on the side opposite the ocean even though the hotel was nearly empty. I had no issue with the facility. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a nice pool area and beyond it the beach and ocean. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was very good. All things considered, I would rather have been in San Juan where the action is.

Booked 3 rooms for 1 night as we were needing somewhere to stay overnight before continuing further up north, but there were a lot of things that went wrong. To start, one of the rooms prior to checking in were left open. You would think that by adding the number of people staying per room, this would indicate how much toiletries to put in each room (towels, toothbrushes, etc.). This was not the case and we had to ask for additional towels for a room that is supposed to accommodate 4 people. Additionally, there were no towels in one of the rooms and no blankets in the other. We had to go down several times in the span of 2 hours to get these items from them. In the final attempt to get towels and blankets for the corresponding rooms, reception had told us the “housekeeping has confirmed that all rooms are complete” I have photos of both rooms with none of these items! To add insult to injury, none of the tvs had functioning channels in any of the rooms. Although it was just a one night stay for us it was not the end of the world. However, I would not recommend booking an extended stay with them if this is how they treat their guests.

The room did not match what was shown on the website. There was no way to contact the front desk from the room if you needed anything—you had to physically go downstairs to request items like towels. The room itself was very dark, the curtains were barely hanging, and the room clearly needs updating and renovation.
