Pleasant stay. Room was nice. Amenities are okay. Breakfast could be better with more choices. No One at the front desk at late hours so no room service and no restaurants in the hotel. They do answer WhatsApp messages from the website.

This is the best hotel we've stayed at during the two weeks in Peru (six hotels in total). Interie is cute and unique, bed is super comfy, room is quiet all the time, and very sustainability concious. Hand soap, shampoo and water bottle are all refillable, hot water is only available in the morning and night, and there is sorted recycling (!!!). Staff doesnt speak much English but super nice and attentive. They accomendated me for my request for breakfast when i had to leave early for tours and flight. If you want sustainable amenities and a cute inerior, this is for you

This is a beautiful hotel with great staff and amazing decor, courtyard and patio. The location too is fantastic: easy walking distance to the city center and on the way to Saqsaywaman. One cautionary note: there are no elevators and many of the rooms are upstairs. Also, some of the rooms have skylights, which is great during the day - the rooms are bright - but skylights do not have blinds. Bring your own night marks unless you want to be awake at the crack of dawn. The biggest downside is that there is no hot water or heating available during the day. And, it gets cold in June! Hot water tends to be in short supply in the mornings and late in the evening. And bathrooms are poorly designed. They have heaters but these stay on only for a couple minutes - never enough to make much of a difference - and with no doors, the heat quickly dissipates into the main bedroom.

The building is a beautiful structure; our room was just as beautiful as the promotional pictures illustrate. Our bed was incredibly comfortable. The restaurant and bar which are promoted as being onsite in the pictures were not open. We had spotty internet for the first 2 days and then nothing for the remainder of our 8-day stay. Breakfast is good and the people who work in the building are extraordinarily friendly. This location is about 2 blocks from the main square making it convenient without having to endure the noise of a public square. This is a beautiful facility; it just seems like it isn't getting the TLC that it once had. Hopefully as travel increases this too will change for the better.

We loved staying at Hotel Arqueologo for the first stop of our honeymoon. We loved our room with a balcony facing the garden. The breakfast was wonderful and had a picture perfect view. They have filtered water available to drink and it was a godsend to not have to buy bottled water the whole time. We even filled our bladder with the water for hikes. We requested fresh flowers and after paying they provided us a huge bouquet in a basket. Was really nice to have the spa for a massage upon arrival. The location is perfect for access to Plaza De Armes, San Blas Neighborhood and Sacsyhuman. I only wish the bathroom had a fan since it doesn’t have a door.

We had an excellent stay of 4 nights, split 2-and-2, as we were doing the Classic Inca Trail. The hotel is unique for its charming architecture and aesthetic, which adds to the travel experience of being in foreign parts. The room was beautiful and, again, unique. The staff are very friendly and efficient and will help you out with any questions and requests. The hotel is wonderfully quiet, and our room had an amazing view of Cusco. Everything is very clean, and the hotel does provide unlimited bottles of purified water (very important!). Would definitely stay there again, and in the same room! I highly recommend the Hotel Arqueologo.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Staff was helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. It was easily walkable to the main Plaza but in a much quieter area. Beautiful lobby and cute courtyard. The only drawback was breakfast - it was just okay and didn’t have many options.

We had a wonderful stay at ARQUEOLOGO EXCLUSIVE SELECTION - Casa Peralta in Cusco. We absolutely loved our room — it was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with a charming duplex layout. The upstairs bedroom felt cozy and private, while the downstairs living area gave us plenty of space to relax. The service was excellent — warm, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and memorable stay in Cusco!

MOBILITY ISSUES AND POOR VALUE FOR MONEY. Poor flow on shower and toilets did not flush. Room on 2 levels connected by spiral staircase. Very tricky for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast was not value for money. Yogurt OR 1 scrambled egg with bread and coffee. At this price I would expect a real breakfast. friendly staff and quirt room.

The hotel is beautiful. Our room was nice, although we expected a little more as it listed a kitchenette, however as of this review we are currently on our second half of this stay, I will review more completely once our stay is done. Only complaint is the insane schedule of the hot water, which is super inconvenient if you like showering in the morning. It isn’t turned on until 0500 hrs and most tours leave at 0400. Overall our first 2 days in Cusco were great in the hotel, but our second half which I will reviewed after the stay is done, the room is MUCH MUCH BETTER. Kitchenette and all.
The hotel is beautiful. Our room was nice, although we expected a little more as it listed a kitchenette, however as of this review we are currently on our second half of this stay, I will review more completely once our stay is done. Only complaint is the insane schedule of the hot water, which is super inconvenient if you like showering in the morning. It isn’t turned on until 0500 hrs and most tours leave at 0400. Het inchecken ging hartstikke goed. Heel goed geholpen door een aardige man. Hij heeft zelfs meegeholpen onze bagage mee naar onze kamer te nemen. Fijn en netjes hotel, oprecht geen klachten.

The staff are well trained by the owner who is extremely helpful and very detail oriented. Staff are very knowledgeable and willing to help set up excursions big or small. We will be returning here and highly recommend this place.

No es accesible para llegar en auto y las calles son de subida , lo que complica mucho con maletas , recepción es solo de 7 am a 10 pm , yo llegué 5 am y tuve que esperar en la calle, la habitación muy bonita y limpia pero las áreas comunes muy descuidadas , y no tienen el restaurante en servicio ,, El personal fue muy amable ,,,, pero en general no regresaría

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Arqueólogo. We loved the hotel accommodations and surroundings. It’s very close to Plaza de Armas, shopping stores, and great restaurants. Customer service was great even though there’s no one for the night shift.

A beautiful hotel, very spacious room, super comfortable bed. All of the staff were very nice. The hotel is nice and quiet and in a great location, just a few minutes walk to plaza de Armas. I'd definitely stay again.

One of the cutest hotels we ever stayed in. Perfect location near dining, shopping , and tourist attractions, yet very quiet and comfortable. Loved how friendly the stuff was too.

We had an excellent stay at the Arqueologo!! The location was perfect -- just a short walk to the main plaza and all kinds of bars and restaurants. The host was very attentive and the coca leaf tea in the lobby came in very handy for our early excursions. Would definitely stay here again!

Pleasant stay. Room was nice. Amenities are okay. Breakfast could be better with more choices. No One at the front desk at late hours so no room service and no restaurants in the hotel. They do answer WhatsApp messages from the website.

Excelente ubicación. Una propiedad muy bonita y bien aprovechada. Estuvimos en dos habitaciones, ambas muy buenas. La que tiene tapanco el escusado está muy bajo. La atención muy buena incluido el desayuno.

We enjoyed our stay very much! Staff was helpful and the rooms were nice and clean. It was easily walkable to the main Plaza but in a much quieter area. Beautiful lobby and cute courtyard. The only drawback was breakfast - it was just okay and didn’t have many options.

The building is a beautiful structure; our room was just as beautiful as the promotional pictures illustrate. Our bed was incredibly comfortable. The restaurant and bar which are promoted as being onsite in the pictures were not open. We had spotty internet for the first 2 days and then nothing for the remainder of our 8-day stay. Breakfast is good and the people who work in the building are extraordinarily friendly. This location is about 2 blocks from the main square making it convenient without having to endure the noise of a public square. This is a beautiful facility; it just seems like it isn't getting the TLC that it once had. Hopefully as travel increases this too will change for the better.

We loved staying at Hotel Arqueologo for the first stop of our honeymoon. We loved our room with a balcony facing the garden. The breakfast was wonderful and had a picture perfect view. They have filtered water available to drink and it was a godsend to not have to buy bottled water the whole time. We even filled our bladder with the water for hikes. We requested fresh flowers and after paying they provided us a huge bouquet in a basket. Was really nice to have the spa for a massage upon arrival. The location is perfect for access to Plaza De Armes, San Blas Neighborhood and Sacsyhuman. I only wish the bathroom had a fan since it doesn’t have a door.

Location is perfect just 5 mins away from Plaza De Armas. The receptionist Jimmy and the other lady whom kept calling me 'sweetheart' were both very kind. They helped me arranged my check-in and out when I had to leave my luggage in cusco to go Machu Picchu and amazon. Beautiful vibes and environment. Just that breakfast will be better with more options (seems like everyday the choices are the same) also door wise kept it open at all times will be more convenient especially the door is pretty heavy to pull open.
