Very surprised with our stay at Ibis hotel, we will definitely use the hotel again as very convenient for Excel. Small room but well appointed, clean, and quiet. Appeared to be also be able to be used as a connecting family room due to the secure area which joined us with next door room. Bag of handmade cookies, 2 bottles of water, tea, coffee, bath robe and normal bathroom shampoo, shower gel, etc. Lovely view of the waterway from the window. Breakfast was vast and very tasty, continental or full English available with plenty of choices of cereal fruit and juices. We also had an evening bar meal, which was nice and great value considering we were in London. Staff of all levels were all very polite and welcoming , nothing was too much trouble. I asked for an extra duvet (as we always fight over duvet), and it was provided straight away by the room ladies. In all we had a lovely 2 night stay, only downside was parking at £25 a night in the hotel next door, but as we were going to Excel, it was cheaper to park there and have a very short walk. Good location, plenty of restaurants, pub, cable car, and DLR within a few mins.
