Lift is broken, which could be an issues we were on 1st floor so okay with kids. Top bunk has less air flow and felt stuffy, making it a bit harder for kids to settle. But room exactly what we needed

The room was incredibly small, the smallest i have ever stayed in. There are five floors but the lift was out of order. The place is spotless, the staff are friendly and the location is amazing. Finding it is difficult too. Its not on the main street but in a side street begind gates.

The room strikes you as very futuristic when you walk in but it's practicality lacked on several fronts. There were no drawers to unpack into, and the only place to hang clothes was hooks on the wall. There was no place to hang towels to dry. The light in the bathroom was too dim to properly shave by. While the frosted glass of the bathroom blurred the view, if you like privacy while sat on the throne this definitely doesn’t provide it. There was an ironing board on the floor for use of all the rooms but there was no iron in sight. My room was located on the 4th floor. While yey apologized for the lift not working when i arrived, when it did work it turned out it only covers have the hotel and i still had to climb the stairs. The hotel is very centrally located with easy walking distance to Covenant Garden and Leicester Square. The underground was just a 2 minute walk. While you'd expect a centrally located hotel to be higher priced i felt overall it it was overpriced for what it offwred., especially when breakfast is not included

Great location for a nice room. Bathroom water pressure was great! My room was a bit dusty on the floor and I had mixed reviews on the staff. Some were very helpful and kind, some were not too helpful. Good location, super close to shopping, the tube/bus and great restaurants nearby.

The staff were excellent and couldnt have been more helpful. The room was spotless. I had booked an accessible room but with bed against wall and no windows was claustrophobic. The staff showed me two other rooms and I settled for a bigger room with windows. This did not have rails etc in shower area. However super location but more for able people than disabled.

Short stay in London, but this was a very comfortable stay & the hotel staff were brilliant as we arrived way early & asked if they had somewhere we could store our bags as it was only 11am but they instead advised us our room was ready & allowed us to check in then which was excellent. The room itself was very clean & the beds were comfy & the TV’s excellent options.

This hotel is conveniently located with easy access to sites, the underground, restaurants, etc. I had a room with a window facing the building next to the hotel and it was very quiet. It is true that the rooms are small, with little to no space to store suitcases. I'd recommend this hotel for a solo traveler who will be out and about most of the day. My room also had a smell of possibly mold. It is difficult to vent the bathroom since it is part of the room. However, it didn't bother me enough to move. The staff was very helpful and probably would have switched my room if I had asked.

The hotel is priced well and located in a beautiful Victorian building adjacent to the lovey courtyard of St. Paul’s church in the absolute heart of Covent Garden. Unfortunately, the interior is bleak and sterile and the walls are paper thin. I could hear every word in the hall, and when people opened their doors, it sounded like they were opening mine. Worst of all, the rooms are TINY. That and the fact that the bathroom is made up of just frosted glass walls, and that there is no closet but rather hooks on the wall, I don’t think I could have born staying there with another person, even though the bed (which was rock-hard) purported to be a queen. Rooms are only cleaned every other day which would have made it even worse.

Z Hotel FAR surpassed my expectations for the price I paid! The location was fabulous and felt very safe. The room was clean and comfortable - with the plumpest pillows. I wasn't expecting any "extras" but had toiletries, hairdryer and (good quality!) coffee and tea. The air conditioning worked - and was quiet - and the TV had an extensive range of channels available. I opted for breakfast, which was great value. Everything was fresh and tasty and there was good variety for the cost. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient . Whenever I come to London again, I will use this hotel.

My stay at the hotel was generally ok, but the room I was given unfortunately affected the overall experience. It was located in the basement and felt both dark and very small – almost a bit claustrophobic. I was surprised that it was classified as a double room, as the space was extremely limited. I tried to change rooms, and I understand that the hotel was fully booked the first night. However, I was disappointed that the staff couldn’t even check availability for the second night – that would have been an easy way to improve the stay. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and tidy. With a room that feels a bit more open and bright, and a little more flexibility and helpfulness from the reception, the experience could have been much better.

Very well located hotel. Room was size of a cupboard, 2 good narrow windows and air-conditioned Okay for one night would not be suitable if you have a lot of luggage. Basically one person needs to be in or sat on bed whilst other moves around to get ready.

Room was very cramped. Bed pushed against the wall so had to climb over each other. No room to get dressed. Window didn’t open, air con didn’t work. View of city advertised was rusty grills and a brick wall. Very disappointed apart from location was very good

the room is literally the size of a postage stamp. nowhere to unpack at all, no desk, not even room for a luggage rack. Basically the bathroom takes up 25% of the room -with terrible showerhead and water pressure, the bed 50% and 25% floor space. And you pay extra for a window? I had limited choice of hotels because last minute. And I forgot something in the room, went back the next day and there's no record of it. So safe to say it was stolen. And it was something I never took out of the room, so no, I didn't leave it elsewhere.

It was nicely designed, but the rooms were small. I purchased a room for 4 people to sleep and it could not fit even 2 people in the hall. And, the bathroom was translucent so you could see the shower.

The Z hotels have 3 hotels in the downtown London area that are in a perfect location for walking, dining, and shopping. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and quiet. Highly recommend for budget friendly travelers.

Rooms ok just very small and basic. Ok for one night but wouldnt want anymore. Location very good in the middle of covent garcen. Staff welcoming on arrival but not so good when checking out. I advised him the room was very noisy as we was below the restuarant and was woken up from 6am with what sounded like trolleys being wheeled across the floor. All the receptionist said was yes potentially! And nothng more!

Great property in a fantastic location for exploring London and shows. The rooms were compact but had everything you need including some modern features. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

The hotel is in an excellent location, right next to Covent Garden. No noise at night even though very central. Room was small but functional, as expected. Very friendly and helpful staff.

The room strikes you as very futuristic when you walk in but it's practicality lacked on several fronts. There were no drawers to unpack into, and the only place to hang clothes was hooks on the wall. There was no place to hang towels to dry. The light in the bathroom was too dim to properly shave by. While the frosted glass of the bathroom blurred the view, if you like privacy while sat on the throne this definitely doesn’t provide it. There was an ironing board on the floor for use of all the rooms but there was no iron in sight. My room was located on the 4th floor. While yey apologized for the lift not working when i arrived, when it did work it turned out it only covers have the hotel and i still had to climb the stairs. The hotel is very centrally located with easy walking distance to Covenant Garden and Leicester Square. The underground was just a 2 minute walk. While you'd expect a centrally located hotel to be higher priced i felt overall it it was overpriced for what it offwred., especially when breakfast is not included

It’s a Z hotel it is what you expect - however the basement rooms are like prison cells and so noisy constant. The pillows and bed are awful. On a positive the location is great, hourly church bells aside and the coffee in the cafe was great!

Z Hotel FAR surpassed my expectations for the price I paid! The location was fabulous and felt very safe. The room was clean and comfortable - with the plumpest pillows. I wasn't expecting any "extras" but had toiletries, hairdryer and (good quality!) coffee and tea. The air conditioning worked - and was quiet - and the TV had an extensive range of channels available. I opted for breakfast, which was great value. Everything was fresh and tasty and there was good variety for the cost. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient . Whenever I come to London again, I will use this hotel.

Very functional room with double bunk beds for a family of four. Not alot of space in the room but the beds are quite large and the stairs leading up to the top bunk was fun to ascend and descend even for me as an adult so I took the top bunk with one child :) Very exciting to see that each bed had it's own TVwall so there were twolarge TVs in the room! Sadly, having two large TV screens in the room turned out to be dissapointing - I didn't understand the point of the TV which had nothing interesting to offer...the TV screens were a major disappointment. Location was central for us as we were within walking distance of all the activities and places we had to visit. Train from paddington to Charing Cross station and it is only an 8 min walk from the station to the hotel making arrival and depature seamless. Overall, it was a good stay but because of the TV disappointment, I would not stay again.
