The location of the hotel is perfect. Reasonable price for a pet-friendly hotel. However, limited car parking spaces makes me have to park my car far away from the hotel.

Beautiful old Victorian hotel. We booked this last minute while visiting friends in Deganwy and didn't want to drive home. Us and our Daschund Mabel were made to feel welcome from the outset and our room(106) was clean and comfortable. We had a nice cooked breakfast and the owner even cooked a sausage for Mabel. Would have no hesitation staying again. Very pet friendly.

Cheap and friendly enough. Bit old fashioned and needs a revamp. Light fittings lose and plug sockets lose. Bar not manned on night time.

Lovely friendly staff, room bright with a great view, lift to all floors . breakfast freshly cooked to order. Like any hotel the pickiest people will always find a fault but we just enjoyed ourselves and had a lovely stay in a lovely hotel.

Very tired old hotel and the staff are rude and unhelpful. The bar was always shut, despite being in their advert. I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked this hotel in Llandudno as it was reasonably priced, dog friendly and good reviews. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our breakfast was tasty offering a good selection. Our room was comfortable with an extra large bed which we had the best sleep. For the price you can not fault this hotel.

The hotel building is old and could do with a refurb in some areas like the bar and some of the windows. The staff were lovely, very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. No parking at hotel but we managed as we went out 10-4pm then it was free parking. Seagulls tap on your window in the daytime- entertaining. Very central , everything was in walking distance , would stay again

We had a 2 night stay , at this hotel , from the outside looked today , until we walked up the steps that were broken , covered with just tape , we were handed our keys , and went to our room , the window was dirty , and rattled , the curtains had an odour and were see through (no privacy), the bed had no mattress protector , although the bed relatively comfortable , the bathroom was disgusting, the towel rail was hanging off the wall , the toilet was loose and hadnt been screwed to the floor, there were cracked floor tiles , no sign they had been tried be repaired , the showerscreen wouldnt fully open , there was no slip mat so had put a towel in the bath for safety , the hand rail had been taken off and the holes filled with silicon , the sink and bath had no plug , the carpet had been joined up and heavily stained , we looked for another hotel to stay in but as it was bank holiday weekend we had no luck , the reception was never staffed after check

Room was clean bed comfortable bathroom was clean. Food selection for breakfast was ok for a budget hotel. Could offer vegetarian options for cooked breakfast. Clear the people who run are putting effort in to refurbish the hotel. Obviously comes down to cash. There is no parking but we found free parking outside retail park on the road opposite Kwik fit. Good central location close to town and the sea front. Staff friendly which makes a big difference all in all a good stay. One last note could do with blackout curtains in room.

This was like 3rd world jungle hotel. No air extractor in the toilet, very smelli, toilet blocked, sawer flowing into bathroom from the toilet when one flashes toilet, a layer of faeces in the bath tab , no ventilation. Bath towels and bedding not changed. Carpet old and frail everywhere. The smell was unbearable. Just imagine one trying to brush teeth in the sight of sewage in the bath tab. Public toilets were smarter than hotel toilets. I never believed such a health risk hotel exists at the heart of of a great nation of Wales. That was my first vist to Wales. I suggest Health and Safety inspection is long over due. Please do something because this is a serious health hazard. Staff accusing visitors of blocking toilets. That was very rude. We have enjoyed staying in Holiday inn Express and Premier Inn hotel in England and never had such a horrible experience where noone cares. A toilet plunger was left stuck in wash tab for visitors to use to work by themselves. I felt sick with this experience where I paid over £200 to stay for two days.

Bathroom door didn’t close properly and window I’m sure should not open this far re health and safety. Sofa was awful but bed was comfy and clean. It’s not unexpected due to being in an old building and so close to the sea which was amazing and very well located to station and shops. No view but not a problem being close to beach. Noisy deliveries out back and no nets/ voiles for privacy.

Toilet was not secure to the floor. Room smelt musty. I had to wedge the wndow to stop it rattling. No one at the check in desk when i left. It was the cheapest hotel we could find as we had a longer journey than planned and needed to stay overnight. As the saying goes you get what you pay for.

They were very warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and they were incredibly accomodating. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.

room was a small,"cosy" double...mayve felt a bit craped with 2 people but ok for one but everything needed for a quiet, comfortable stay was provided.Breakfast was good, both the full english. and the selection of cereals/juices. Hotel is very cconveniently placed between the station and the seafront and on the main shopping street.

Great budget hotel close to the promenade and train station. I had not received a pre check-in email nor reply to my messages - which was stressful - so I had to call to set up a time. Room was big and nice enough, bathroom small but efficient. Old windows make for a cold room, but they do have extra blankets and electric heaters. Would stay again.

I liked that it was close to the train station. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was not the one in the picture. The bedside lamp had no outlet to plug into. Check in was odd - as no one was there and we thought we couldn’t get in. Breakfast didn’t start until 8 - we had a tour at 8:15. The room was dated with an awkward layout.

Location is perfect, 5 mins from the train station, a few minutes to the sea front and the shops right at your doorstep. It was quiet and safe. The room was big and although dated was fine for a few days. It was basic, but everything you needed. I do think it needs a little more attention to detail when it comes to cleaning, but it wasn't filthy. Breakfast was nice and staff were friendly. For the price I paid I thought it was value for money, especially for the location!

Hotel was a lovely building Problems with shower Wednesday morning but was rectified by teatime. Good service. The person that saw us when we arrived was very helpful. The one bed in twin room was noisy when you moved. Breakfast was good, good choice, Nothing was too much trouble

Stayed for one night, we arrived and was told which room we were in but my friend got slightly confused as he has mild Autism and went to the wrong room with his key by mistake and it opened someone else's room with his room key, which is weird that it opened an other room? we sincerely apologised to the other guests then the manger became aggressive to him after he tried to explain it was a simple mistake, I told the manger he had a learning disability. ROOMS DIRTY DUSTY AND NO LOVE IN THEM. the manger needs to find peace in his heart and learn to forgive to much anger God loves you.

Great location near to the railway station and the promenade. Staff very friendly and obliging. Room was clean. Price was reasonable compared to other hotels in that area. I would stay again.

A staff member charged me 30 pounds coz some one was sat in room with me having a drink this is after knockimg at 7 to say they had to leave at 8 like i was a child then his reason fro chrging me was a toilet charge his exact was she use my electric my toilet, and also no one spoke proper engkish so was hard to communicate with them

Hotel was a lovely building Problems with shower Wednesday morning but was rectified by teatime. Good service. The person that saw us when we arrived was very helpful. The one bed in twin room was noisy when you moved. Breakfast was good, good choice, Nothing was too much trouble

room was a small,"cosy" double...mayve felt a bit craped with 2 people but ok for one but everything needed for a quiet, comfortable stay was provided.Breakfast was good, both the full english. and the selection of cereals/juices. Hotel is very cconveniently placed between the station and the seafront and on the main shopping street.

Great location near to the railway station and the promenade. Staff very friendly and obliging. Room was clean. Price was reasonable compared to other hotels in that area. I would stay again.

The hotel building is old and could do with a refurb in some areas like the bar and some of the windows. The staff were lovely, very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. No parking at hotel but we managed as we went out 10-4pm then it was free parking. Seagulls tap on your window in the daytime- entertaining. Very central , everything was in walking distance , would stay again

I was due to stay one night but as a result of train cancellations extended for a further two nights. The location of the hotel is great, easy access to the promenade, high street and railway station. It's clear there are improvements underway to the accommodation and communal areas. The room I stayed in was basic, the bathroom dated, but clean. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Overall, excellent value for money.

Nice clean hotel at the heart of town, good spacious room on first floor overlooking the square at the end of mostyn rd, excellent breakfast, no parking at hotel but on street parking was close by.

Room was clean bed comfortable bathroom was clean. Food selection for breakfast was ok for a budget hotel. Could offer vegetarian options for cooked breakfast. Clear the people who run are putting effort in to refurbish the hotel. Obviously comes down to cash. There is no parking but we found free parking outside retail park on the road opposite Kwik fit. Good central location close to town and the sea front. Staff friendly which makes a big difference all in all a good stay. One last note could do with blackout curtains in room.

Lovely friendly staff, room bright with a great view, lift to all floors . breakfast freshly cooked to order. Like any hotel the pickiest people will always find a fault but we just enjoyed ourselves and had a lovely stay in a lovely hotel.

Great value for money, exactly what I needed for a work stay over. Area is nice and very close to the beach. Staff are friendly and available. Breakfast was good too, full English which set the morning off good. Only issue was the shower took ages (5-10 mins) to get warm, and never got hot. Other than that, would recommend.

Cheap hotel for a nice little stay. Not much to do in the hotel but sleep. Bit old and could do with some improvements such as a nice TV. The tv in the lounge area had one channel on repeat with the same episode of a show for 3 days in a row. The breakfast isn’t worth the £12. Overall I would give it a 7/10

For what we paid to stay here, it was exceptional value. The staff were lovely. The room was very basic but functional and clean. The breakfast was fantastic. For a short stay, I would definitely return.

Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Said hello everytime we saw them. They even took our bags up to our room which is a first for me. The room was fine overall but was a bit dated. Could do with a refurb to modernise it. In our room there were many cracks and holes all over the place and we even found rubbish on top of the wardrobe and sticking out from behind it as well. Beds were clean as well as the linen and towels were clean and soft. If the rooms could be refurbished and more attention given to the little things then we would definitely consider staying again.

Onik the reception / dining service staff is very warm, friendly and helpful he is an asset to the hotel. It could be warm in the room on summer. Breakfast is good and warm when served. Room was clean and decent. Enough towels provided Good view from the room that I stayed in . Hotel is Near coffee shops and the coastal bay and even in shops where you could shop for things you need.

Clean bedding and towels but room needed basic diy jobs adhering to- wardrobe drawer broken, curtains need hanging properly, no handle on one of wardrobe doors. Bathroom needs tidying up grouting etc. I’m saying all of the above we had a good supply of hot water for shower and baths, tea making equipment and staff were kind and helpful.
