la stanza è un po' piccola (ma in linea con gli standard inglesi per la categoria), bellissima la doccia-spa-vapore, abbiamo dovuto chiedere (non lo fanno automaticamente) la pulizia stanza e il refill di acqua e caffè (cmq gratis), il bar in cima è molto bello, tv solo canali inglesi, in ogni caso hotel consigliatissimo

Både baren i første etasje og i toppetasjen er driftet av andre enn hotellet selv. I første etasje den lørdagen vi var der, var baren utilgjengelig for oss, da den var utleid til en privat fest. Denne festen var også til stede i lobbyen. Frokosten i baren på toppen var mye dårligere enn hva vi hadde forventet av et hotell i denne prisklassen.

We love a Virgin hotel, and the room/bathroom was well modern and planned, with the comfiest bed, like always. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed going to the bar on the ground floor. However, we did want to note a couple of things, that would possibly put us off staying here again. We were not informed until when we arrived that the rooftop bar and terrace are NOT owned by the hotel (despite being in all their photos). We noted that the service and staff upstairs were definitely not to Virgin's standards. The pool is very overlooked by the bar, and the bar was packed both evenings we were there, with loud music (we could it from the lift lobby on the second floor). We wouldn't expect the pool to be pretty much unusable at 6.30pm on a Sunday night, due to how busy and loud the bar was next door, with an event unrelated to the hotel. My husband was almost refused entry one night as well, as the event in the bar was "girls only". This made the pool, one of the main features of this hotel, very unpleasant and almost impossible to use for two evenings of our stay, which was very disappointing, and worth pointing out to future clients. Also, the hotel maintenance (especially of the rooftop/pool but also parts of the room) were not up to scratch for the cost of this hotel. The pool deck was particularly grubby, and didn't feel up to the hotel's standard. A great hotel - just needs a little love and maintenance, and to sort out the rooftop issues.
