The room/hotel was absolutely worth the £50, it was completely adequate. However, it is in dire need of refurbishment or complete refit. It was cheaper than a travelodge, and more amenities. I thinking in its day, it was a very nice hotel. The included breakfast was very good, and plenty of it. If you’re not bothered about appearance, then this is a great cheap hotel. Not for “snobs” but well worth the money. Mattress was very worn, but for 1 day I survived. Overall it was value for money.

Interesting place. Would’ve been lovely about 40 years ago but hasn’t been cleaned or updated since. Also location wise, it is next to a landfill. So expect smells and flies. The staff were sound.

This hotel is totally neglected by the owners. The car park is overgrown with weeds. We drove past initially thinking the building we saw was derelict. Unfortunately it wasn't. On entering the "hotel" you are overcome by the stench of stale cigarette smoke, it became evident that the venue is mainly used as temporary accommodation for immigrants and homeless people. The carpets throughout were stained and disgusting. Our room was full of mismatched furniture and the carpet was also stained. The ensuite shower over bath did not stay in a position that enabled it to be used so we had to hold the shower head in our hands to shower. The hose to the shower leaked profusely and ended up flooding the bathroom floor. My travelling companion was unable to sleep all night with the sound of people slamming doors and stomping around the corridors. He was also fearful that our vehicle was going to be broken into. Quite frankly the £51 paid for the room for 1 night was excessive for what was more reminiscent of a squat than a hotel. Stay here at your peril. You have been warned!!!!

Parking was fine .overall its terrible place shower not working hot water not able to turn off not clean halls smells, of cigarettes everywhere noises creepy floors, weed smells, bad experience..

Slightly speechless about my stay here... room way alright, the kingsize bed was 2 singles pushed together which were different heights. Plugged in the aircon and shot the power to the entire room which was a million degrees. Whole place smelt horrid. There are 100% asylum seekers being housed here, and god knows what other strange behaviour going on... all we had to do was open youtube and look ay the search history. The Location was terrifying, did not feel safe in the slightest. Would've rather taken the fine than go out to vape kind of unsafe... Police outside due to someone kicking off. I'm not sure you could pay me to stay here again, The people we met on reception were genuinely lovely though, I actually felt a bit sorry for them having to sort all of this out. Suspicious looking stains throughout our entire room to the point we slept fully clothed on top of the bed, I was scared to take my shoes off. I had been told by a local friend we were actually lucky to get a room given the activities that go on here. Not sure lucky is the right word... avoid at all costs.
