Il Nido di Cortona

The property was as advertised except it was up on a very steep hill. That meant a big climb going back. Also, transportation without a car was a little complicated. Walk down to the bus. Ride to the train station. Reverse that coming back. But that's only if you leave Cortona during your stay. The property itself was lovely to look at. Wifi worked beautifully. Water pressure in the shower was blissful. The bed was a little firm for me but there were lots of pillows. I enjoyed my stay. Stephano, who handled checkin, was great.

This quaint apartment was just perfect. Close enough to squares but far away enough for quiet stay. Stefano was an excellent host, helping us get driver to & from train station. Will recommend to friends!!
