Just what we needed. Easy, off the main highway, parking was a piece of cake. Allowed our doggies. Have a little green spot with a fence that made potty breaks super easy and convenient. Personally would prefer no carpet in rooms but that’s a preference. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean. I am easy to please and we got everything we wanted. Thank you Super 8!

If you are looking for a quiet place to rest after a long travel day well keep on traveling. We stayed here for one night and when we got there we noticed the pool had been filled in and a few plant had been planted instead. When registering the staff person gave us a room at the end of the hall on the ground floor, told us breakfast was in an area at the front of the hotel. Little did we know that this hotel is next to the race track so all the racers were staying at the hotel they parked their cars right out side our window and commenced partying when we asked at the desk to have them move else where we were to it was ok they are all regular customers when we said they are two feet from our window nothing was done. This is all so a pet friendly hotel so these people just put there dogs in their rooms and let them bark all night. They did stop around 3 am. when we got up and went to have breakfast there was none no coffee no hot water for tea nothing. When we checked out there was just a note at the front desk tell us to place the key in this little box no one around. What a dump.

We thought the room was clean, but on further inspection, it had not been vacuumed thoroughly! EEwww.. On the morning we were leaving, ( We were at breakfast) They came in our room! All of our things were still out. We hadn't checked out yet, they made up the beds,( did they even change the sheets?!) bathroom towels were changed out. If we got bedbugs....ggrrr

Despite it being a non-smoking property, all 3 rooms I've stayed in at this property have smelled like smoke. In the case of one room, there was an open/used bottle of shower gel in the shower, so it seemed like it wasn't fully cleaned before our check-in, but everything else seemed clean. The staff was very nice and accommodating.

Room was decent not great. Not enough pillows. There were stain marks on the chair and decorative blanket. Neither the bathroom nor the bedroom were sparkly clean. However it was quiet. Check in was smooth. Outlets and lights work. It's decent for a night stay and close to restaurants.

I seemed like the proprieter was having a family reunion & dinner in the entry lobby during my check in. The building is thin walled, so sound really travels. There was activity in the parking lot, and hallways all night. But very convienent for attending ThunderHill Raceway.

It is not a new property but has been kept up well and many of the furnishings are on the newer side it seems. The safety of the building is important to me as we have two kids and it’s right along I-5, and the doors to get in and out were very secure. The front desk staff was very personable and friendly, and not rude when I asked a stupid question because I was so tired in the morning that I couldn’t figure out how to open the door to get out even though there was an obvious red button that said “exit.” The stay in the room was good despite the immense central valley heat and humidity. Beds were comfortable and everything clean. The only sad part was that there was no breakfast, only coffee and apple juice. I don’t expect it for that price but mistakenly thought from reviews that there would be. But the coffee was pretty good compared to what is in the rooms. Also the soaps and shampoo were nice.

Parking was good. Location good, easy walking distance to Starbucks and other fast food. Internet was the worst I’ve experienced since the dial up days. In my room I couldn't connect with phone, ipad or computer. In the lobby I could connect but it was so slow all I could do was barely check my email. Tyhe front desk couldn’t help. Thankfully Starbucks was only a 5 minute walk. Mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Hotel was fairly quiet. I have to raye my stay was suboptimal due to their archaic internet.

Our room smelled very musty and the bathroom had some built up dirt in areas. The ground floor was quite noisy with people out in the parking lot of the hotel (and the hotel next door). Breakfast was very limited. Wifi was great!

Fridge has small freezer, unlike more expensive hotel from prior stay there; much appreciated. Room is fine, bed a bit stiff. Good lighting, but no USB ports, so bring own adapters. OK for the price, but will look for a little more modern next time.

Very dated room. Smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling wrapped in a shower cap! It wouldn’t stop beeping till the front desk clerk came to change the battery and when that didn’t stop the beeping she just took the whole thing out of the room. The breakfast was soooo bad. There was very little options at all. Don’t say you offer breakfast if it’s plain granola bars and over ripe apples.

Excellent check in experience. The young woman at reception Isa (I hope I spelled her name correctly), was warm, welcoming and very helpful. Check in was a breeze. The room is clean, with plenty amenities. A very enjoyable stay.

They charged me twice on my card, I had already paid on Expedia, and at the hotel they asked me for my card to corroborate the payment, I told the owner that night that they were charging me again by the hotel, he was upset, I have already called I went to Expedia 3 times, and sent screenshots of the bank, hotel receipt, and screenshot of the bank, and they did not resolve anything after 10 days

The cleaner opened our door at 8am. It smells terrible in the halls. I’ve stay here for 15 years going to the raceway. This place used to be where everyone stayed and it’s just gone completely down hill. This was my worst experience with this place of all time.

My room was canceled because I did the pre-check in process and there was an issue with my CC apparantly. They said they called me but they didn’t. My CC was fine, I think they wanted to take a walk in with an up charge over my rate. Lesson learned never do a pre-check just pay when you arrive….

Upon getting back from dinner another room had an unattended dog barking. Hard to get to sleep. Had to go down to office to address. They had to move us twice before we could not hear. We ALWAYS stay here on our frequent travels to Southern California. Was disappointed in all the moving but finally was able to sleep.

Usually, I would not stay at a Super 8, especially in a larger city type location where it attracts undesirable elements. Since this Super 8 is located in a small town and located across the street from a CHP station, I gave it a try. Overall it has good reviews regarding cleanliness and service, and I recommend it.

It was very musty smelling in our room. The air coming out of the AC was very musty, but at least the AC worked! The price is right and it's close to the highway, but with no highway noise.

Older resort but well maintained. Very clean! We were very pleased to find such nice accommodations in such a small town. It was surrounded with many fast food options. Really appreciated the nice size refrigerator with a large freezer compartment. Impressed with how quickly the water heated up for a shower and the toilets conserved water and were quiet in their flushing. Nice selection of breakfast foods, cereal, pancakes, toast, yogurt and fruit. People were quiet after 10 pm until 6 am when they warmed up their cars before departing on their journey. Not the hotels' fault by any means.

This is a good little spot, reasonably priced, to stay when attending events at Thunderhill Raceway. The king rooms even have a large race car print behind the bed. It’s an older property but the bathroom is fairly modern, and the rooms are clean. On this occasion there was no breakfast in the little dining area. I usually grab a hard boiled egg and some fruit. Very dated room. Smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling wrapped in a shower cap! It wouldn’t stop beeping till the front desk clerk came to change the battery and when that didn’t stop the beeping she just took the whole thing out of the room. The breakfast was soooo bad. There was very little options at all. Don’t say you offer breakfast if it’s plain granola bars and over ripe apples.

I've stayed here before track days a handful of times so far, both with the old name and new name/ownership. It gets the job done (maybe not for Porsche drivers) if you're trying to avoid AM traffic or if passing through. Property is not state of the art, general signs of wear and tear. Staff is always helpful when checking in. I personally dont bother with breakfast/TV/wifi; just a place to rest my head. AC works. Sheets are not lavish. Shower water pressure is lacking but the soaps are pretty decent. For the price you get what you pay for, which is about perspective at the end of the day.
