The Fazeley Inn

The venue was OK, good layout with easy access to room, decent bar with sports on TV, etc. The bedroom itself was not good. It's cheap accommodation so my expectations were low anyway but the room really let down the rest of the venue by a long way. It had an awful smell in the room like cabbage that never went away. The shower walls had mould on them which again wasn't ideal. The room was next to a generator so in the morning at around 6:30am a really loud motor sound would be constantly ongoing. This wasn't ideal for me as i had been working until 2am so the early wake up call from the generator was not welcome. Also, you can hear the music from the bar/pub area through the floors so if you're looking for an early night, this might not be ideal. This didn't effect me too much apart from when i wanted to grab a nap before working through the night, but good for others to know. I didn't utilise the parking on site because i was in a very large van so i parked on the housing estate across the road which was only 2 minute walk to the venue. The car park seemed OK from a visual inspection. It looked a bit compact but would be fine in a car/small van. The massive plus was the staff. The staff were actually brilliant. Very welcoming, helpful and provided a very professional service the whole time. Very thorough when giving advice and explaining the hotel layout. Good work! I don't think i would stay here again unless it improved on things like cleanliness.

Hotel was clean, I think aimed at contractor/trade people. I don't think you would go there on holiday. Good for price. Rooms were good enough, but the hotel common areas need attention.

Perfect

When we got there, we were told it might be loud music til 10:30pm but it was so loud, we came downstairs despite my daughter being absolutely shattered as it sounded bearable than the vibrating boom through the floor. We went back up at 10, but there was music til 12:15am and loud taking til 12:45am. Then there was the sound of air con or something industrial right outside our room from the early hours til we got up. We hardly slept. The room was OK, though the light fitting was full of dirt and the ceiling had bad water marks. Needs a good refurb and something done with that air con or whatever it is and forewarning of loud music before booking so guests know what to expect
