During my 2 month travel across NZ this was the worst place. Dirty, loud, staff not really helpful. Just avoid it.

Very hospitable hosts and a great place to stay. Rooms still need a bit more work but they are getting there. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We will be back.

Hôtel avec jolie façade années 20. Intérieur plutôt années 40 mais sans travaux depuis !!! Ni peinture ni moquette ! Dommage car le personnel est arrangeant. Attention les chambres premier prix ont douche et toilettes sur le palier ! Et il faudra compter 140$ nz pour une avec douche et toilettes privées.

Typical 1800's Country Town Pub. Showing wear and tear, but it was a quaint experience. The dining room is the best part of the hotel. Friendly local people. We had a quiet night and slept well in our room. The water is nice and hot, plus ability to boil a jug in the kitchenette.
