The rooms were clean and nice. But, the lighting in the room was very dim, and there was no bed side light, just a glow behind the head board. The location is a bit off the beaten path, so once you are at the hotel, you are staying at the hotel, with no where to walk to. There is no alcohol, so be prepared. Dinner is listed in euros and is expensive for what you get. Lots of stairs with no accessibility options. While there are elevators in the buildings, there are steep stairs into the restaurant, and into the building we stayed in.

I was needing a hotel close to Istanbul new airport. Airport is nice and big… but no hotel around. Menalo was presenting itself as an airport hotel with airport shuttle. But I realize that. Hotel is not that close from airport. Shuttle proposed is incredibly crazy compare to Uber. There is NOTHING to do around. Receptionist appear limited in English, I asked him if there was something to see or do on Black Sea Coast at 20km from the hotel he only reply to take a UBER. There is no gym and no pool (incredible on such place). Restaurant is absolutely expensive 18€ for some pasta bolognese. Count around 30 to 40€ for a piece of meat. Far more expensive that same level of hotel inside Istanbul. Do not think joining the center of Istanbul from the hotel, there is no transport except Uber and Istambul center is at 50 min drive. Go there only if you know the place and you know why you are going!

We use this hotel whenever Istanbul is our connecting flight airport and always find our stays at Menalo delightful and relaxing. Their VP shuttle service is impeccable, rooms are clean and spacious, their staff is very welcoming and helpful, the restaurant provides great authentic food options, and overall hotel premises with lots of greenery and flowers are charmingly beautiful. Highly recommend it to anyone who wants to escape the chaos of multi-day travels and feel pampered and relaxed while in transit.

Very clean and Quiet. Hotel staff were great. Building is modern and environment is excellent. Breakfast will be better if it is buffet. Airport shuttle also available for a fee which makes it very convenient. Communication is excellent.

The hotel is brand new, the staff are very accommodating, the on-site restaurant serves good food, the room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a strong and unpleasant odor exuding from the drain in the bathroom sink. We looked under the sink and saw that there is NO trap (elbow) pipe so the smell of sewer permeates the bathroom and the room and the room making it rather unpleasant. We paid just under $200 per night for this hotel and expected better.

This is a lovely hotel very close to the airport. The grounds are beautiful, staff are friendly, the restaurant is excellent and open until midnight, and the rooms were incredibly clean. The shuttle service to the airport is also extremely easy and convenient and they are very communicative about the pickup. Hope to stay here again!

Eigentlich gut angelegt. Aber sehr weit weg von alternativen Restaurants, deshalb ist man auf das Hotelrestaurant angewiesen. Preise dort sind überhöht. Die Bedienung muss zu jedem Schritt aufgefordert werden. Zum Frühstück gibt es keine Auswahl. Sehr enttäuschend und befremdlich. Das Bad ist sehr klein und die Fugen der Dusche sind schmutzig, das Silicon ist wohl immer wieder in mehreren Lagen aufgebracht worden aber noch nie ordentlich erneuert.

Fairly new well kept property. Road to the hotel is very bad. Taxi driver didn’t want to drive down it. Comforter on king size bed was queen sized so my wife slept in the other bed as it wouldn’t cover us both. Door to balcony latch wasn’t working.

It's a cute hotel in a mostly undeveloped location. We stayed in early March, so the weather was cool but mild... the room was overheating from the radiators and the air conditioning wouldn't turn on cooling. There were no instructions for the HVAC controls nor the safe. The "King size" bed was just two twin beds pushed together with King Size sheets and they immediately slid apart. The rooms are advertised as "sound proof" but I had to use ear plugs to sleep because of a baby crying and a young child talking loudly in the next room. The sound of any door, footsteps, or voice in the hallway also carried into the room as if the door was not there.

Reason for travel - 1 night close proximity to airport. In the night its noisy we were woken up 2 times because of inconsiderate other guests (no security or rules) - defeated the purpose of staying. Would have rather stayed where we were before in Istanbul city and slept properly. You can hear everything when someone flushes the toilets, takes a shower which is all at random times of the night because others are also catching their flights. They packed all the visitors in our block it felt like. Secondly restaurant is ridiculously expensive for what it is. Would not stay and waste money here again.

We spent sleepless night because the building has no soundproofing and we could hear every step and toilet flash in the building. The menu in the restaurant is extremely overpriced for Turkey. Rooms are dark and small. The only benefit is nearby airport.

The lighting in our room was VERY BAD -- not at all adequate. There were no bed lights to use to read, only a very dim light that went around the headboard of the bed. Our room also had two small balconies, but no chairs to sit there. All the towels were placed in the shower, which made them awkward to use from the sink.

Lovely staff but the room, whilst big with a comfortable bed had significant lack of lighting No reading lamps and poor overall light so unpacking was very difficult The bathroom was also in poor condition with shower drain slow so pooled water when showering. The light over the mirror was broken and flickered constantly. Two lovely balconies had unlockable doors No body lotion supplied. In short it was a quiet hotel, set in lovely gardens with willing staff but in hotel in poor condition. The food we ate was good enough. The airport to hotel car transfer of about 15 minutes was €60 return

Lovely place, we only stayed for a short time. Only negative was with our experience of using the hotel shuttle to the airport. We had some trouble with our baggage after our long (10 hour) flight, as well as cell phone connection issues, and the driver was very impatient and annoyed with us. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was yummy and everyone other than the shuttle driver were friendly with us

I highly recommend this hotel. It was a cute getaway just for the night needed to get to and from the airport. They have a shuttle, which made it super convenient and the staff went above and beyond. The hotel was clean and I felt very safe I am a single woman traveling from America and my phone broke and they were so super helpful to me and went out of their way to try to accommodate me. I’ll be back!

Great Airport Hotel. We were due to land at about 1am local time and I didn't want to trek all the way into the city so late after a long flight. I was concerned about our late check in, so contacted the hotel directly and they were very helpful and quick to respond. It turned out we had the journey from hell and arrived at about 6am local time and there were still 3 staff there to greet us and help us with luggage. I was very impressed and would recommend this hotel highly.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. The reception is awful and they are not helpful at all! The rooms are not clean. The floor is not clean and the pillows are very uncomfortable. Furkan at reception has no empathy whatsoever.

Great spot for an overnight stay before a flight. Well appointed hotel in lovely surroundings. Don't be put off by the poor road access. Hopefully the road will be renewed soon. Staff were very helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel as there is a town only 10 minutes away.

The property itself is okay but is in the middle of nowhere. The taxi that they called for me to take me to the airport at daylight charged almost three times of what I paid to bring me from the airport to the hotel at night. My room did not have a desk. Breakfast and its service were good but slow. It is not a buffet.

Honestly disappointed. Stayed here due to the relative proximity to the airport - the place itself is nice, but we are far from everything. I wanted to order a beer for dinner - impossible - not even non alcoholic beer. No alcohol on the premises. Good service otherwise

Overall it was Ok, hotel close to the airport. Room are clean. Only the insulation of the room is bad, I could hear the tv of my neighbor.. and endless water pipeline songs in the room The breakfast is not not a buffet so you need a lot of time to get served. And service of employees in restaurants is totally bad because they don't speak English.

Overpriced place compared to price level. Food quality average, with high prices. I would not use the premium in the name of the hotel. Please note, no alcohol served, so if you want have a refreshing beer on the balcony or fine with the food, visit first a corner shop.

The hotel is relatively new and needs a lot of improvement. I had no shampoo or soap but 2 hair conditioners. The food at the restaurant is good but very expensive for a 3 star hotel. Almost absurd.
