Old and historic place. Understand it was a lawfirm set of offices built in the late 1800's. Need place to stay right in the downtown area. Only two 'complaints' is the limited parking and a steep set of stairs to the rooms that are on the second floor only.

Hotel is in a great location in Ouray and walkable to shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking on site. Building was built in the 1800s but has been kept up well. Overall nice booking.

Great location. Comfortable room. The negative is a flight of stairs that is a challenge with luggage especially at altitude! No elevator. No bell service. But overall pretty nice.

This hotel was so cool to stay in. They have kept things very original but also have updated bathrooms. The person who checked us in showed us to our room and where to find coffee/tea/ice. Where the thermostat was and where we could find towels to use for the hot springs.

Everything was good. They could use a little extra parking. When non-guests park in the designated guest spots, it leaves nowhere to go for the guests. This wasn’t a giant issue, but that’s how little there is to complain about. Great overall.

Room was large. Chairs were nice so you didn’t have to always sit on the bed. Bedding was outstanding. Breakfast was good. We would absolutely stay there again.

This is a beautiful property with a great location on Main St. The room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately, there was a persistent, bad odor coming from the shower drain. It smelled like sewage and would fill the room if we were out and about for a few hours. Ewww! While in our room, we had to open the windows to breathe clean air. During the night, we had to sleep with our bathroom door closed and the fan running to keep it bearable. This smell alone made me feel like I wasted money on one of the more expensive rooms in town only to smell sewage all day. The design of the shower itself was also not ideal. The lack of any shower door caused the heat from the hot water to immediately escape. Who wants to take a freezing shower in the mountains? Not me. The breakfast was also a disappointment. The selections were slim and low-budget. Next time I'm in Ouray I'll definitely stay somewhere else.

The room was nice, clean, chic, and beds were comfortable. The design of the shower looked cool but under certain shower head settings water was spraying out into the bathroom floor. Also whoever installed the shower pan did a terrible job and the entire floor bounced up and down. We parked at the rear of the building and although we entered the door code properly (included the # sign) could not get the door to open. Liked the first floor room for convenience of getting items in. Would not have liked the second floor as there is no elevator.

The staff was unbelievably helpful. We had to check in late and had an issue getting into the building, but the staff came right over and let us in. We had no issues. The place was clean, the beds were comfy and the location was perfect you could walk to everything.

Wonderful, beautifully renovated hotel. It was incredibly quiet and immaculate. Even the breakfast was a large notch above most. No hot food, but that's great with me. Those are usually not good. The muffins were great, not your usual pre-packaged stuff. We will definitely stay here again if we're in the area.

This smell alone made me feel like I wasted money on one of the more expensive rooms in town only to smell sewage all day. The design of the shower itself was also not ideal. The lack of any shower door caused the heat from the hot water to immediately escape. Who wants to take a freezing shower in the mountains? Not me. The breakfast was also a disappointment. The selections were slim and low-budget. Next time I'm in Ouray I'll definitely stay somewhere else.

Friendly & welcoming staff. Very nice & clean rooms. Love the decor! Nice continental breakfast - a variety of fresh baked muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, apples, wished they offered bananas though, and packaged cereal/oatmeal. Would definitely come back!

What a wonderful hotel, so much character in center of town makes for an excellent location. Top quality service and a very quaint setting. Stayed in room #14 - perfect for view down the main streets. Would highly recommend staying here when in Ouray. I definitely recommend Ouray for a visit. It’s a super cool little town and I will come back.

Had an interior (no outside window view) room. Although smaller than the other rooms it was absolutely charming! Also, didn’t mind the lack of outdoor view as they still had windows with curtains for the hallway which has a skylight so you still feel like you’re getting some natural light. Staff were all friendly and helpful and rooms were very clean!

This hotel is a true gem hidden in Ouray. We stay at Hotel Ouray whenever we’re in town. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Also, the staff go out of their way to make your stay a wonderful one.
