We highly recommend the luxurious Lycabettus Hill penthouse for your Athens visit! Dimitris offers fabulous hospitality and a gorgeous, quiet and secure home for your comfort. We were in Athens for 4 nights in late July with our 9 1/2 year old granddaughter on a quest to learn about Greco-Roman culture, mythology and ancient history in preparation for her school curriculum. The penthouse was our sanctuary with a well-equipped kitchen for enjoying meals, laundry facilities if needed, very comfortable beds and living area, and la pièce de résistance: the rooftop pool, where we enjoyed every spare moment! Dimitris is a friendly, sophisticated host; and extremely well-traveled, knowledgeable and accommodating with requests. We appreciated his offer to provide a driver for ATH transfer, as well. And, we deeply appreciate that he worked with us to retrieve a forgotten item. Our deepest gratitude to Dimitris and his warm hospitality. Until we meet again! (“9 1/2!”)

Over all the apartment was great. Loved the roof top pool, area felt safe, was quiet. We felt very comfortable leaving the windows and doors open for fresh air even when we weren’t home. Host was very helpful in helping us arrange transportation to and from the airport as well as giving us tips on things to do in the local area

Great location just far way enough from major attractions that you could escape when it was time to relax back at the home. Backs to a park with trails for exercise or relaxation. The upstairs pool area had a great view and plenty of room to sit and enjoy the pool and surroundings. Safe to walk around. Spacious and open layout.

The property is in a great and safe location near the U.S. embassy. The apartment occupies the third floor and rooftop of the building, including a beautiful rooftop pool and large shaded patio area surrounded by a rooftop garden. I highly recommend!

Wir waren mit 2 Kindern im Appartement und haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Die Wohnung ist geräumig mit einer schönen Terrasse und einer sehr großen Dachterrasse mit tollem Pool. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher, die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen. Dimitris ist immer erreichbar und möchte, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Das Kinderzimmer hat eine niedrige Decke, die drei Bäder sind sehr klein. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend gelegen. Man kommt für 6 Euro mit dem Taxi nach Plaka. Das Appartement ist voll ausgestattet (Handtücher, Nespesso, ...).

The pool is a nice feature - particularly in the heat of July25. The bedrooms and showers are small. The beds were extremely hard, which made sleeping difficult. The property was not clean to a standard we would expect. We did not appreciate are unannounced visit by the owner.

What a wonderful stay we had at the Penthouse on Lycabettus Hill. The property is in a perfect location. Local restaurants, markets, shops, and bakeries are just a short walk away; all historical monuments, museums other districts are a quick uber or taxi service. The penthouse is clean, comfortable, spacious, and peaceful. We were lucky that one evening Panathinaikos F.C. (local premier/professional soccer/football team) were playing a friendly match vs. Rayo Vallecano (Spain-La Liga) the city truly came to life and the atmosphere was just amazing! Just an incredible experience to witness and be part of. The host “Dimitris” is probably the best premier host that i have ever met through Vrbo. His communication was 5 star and he helped us with all necessary transfers to and from ATH airport. He was so welcoming when we checked in with fresh fruit, cold water, wine, and coffee. He sat us down and helped us navigate the area, went over the best places to visit and how to get there. He made us feel like we were part of his extended family. The property was perfect for us. We were a party of 6…no one under the age of 17. We were comfortable, never crowded, and the swimming pool was a wonderful bonus to help with the summer Athens heat. The A/C worked perfect and kept the house cool and comfortable during the day. Overall it was a 5 star experience. The views from the private terrace and pool area are worth the stay all within itself. Thank you again Dimitris, we will be back!!!

What a wonderful stay we had here for 3 nights. We wished we could have stayed longer ! 4 adults in our party. This place is roomy and the pool and pool area really make it special. Wonderful view of the city and many plants and trees lining the whole rooftop. The apartment itself feels like home with books , pictures and ornaments everywhere. Very clean and very comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and we gave the Nespresso machine a good workout :). We set out to explore Athens at 8am and got back around 3pm. So great to relax in and by the pool after a day exploring the city. We didn’t want to leave and spent two evenings there after ordering in food. Really quiet and peaceful neighbourhood directly across from all the trees on Mount Lycabettus. Dimitris and Katerina were excellent hosts. So helpful and stocked the fridge for us on the first day !! (We took Dimitris advice and went to Cafe Avassinia - fantastic service , food and an unbelievable view of the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace. ) I highly recommend this penthouse for a stay in Athens. It is truly a one of a kind place!

La maison est très belle et propre, avec une vue superbe sur Athènes. L'acceuil par Claire a été géniale et nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour parler avec Dimitri le proprio. J'y retournerais avec plaisir! Reservez cette maison sans soucis.

Our hosts Dimitris and Katerina were very responsive and helped us in any way they could both prior to checkin and during our stay. We checked in on a late on a Saturday and supermarkets are closed in Athens on Sunday, so they stocked the fridge full of milk, cheese, bread, etc. so that we would have breakfast the following morning. This thoughtfulness was very much appreciated. The apartment itself was a dream. The beds were comfortable, it has A/C so we could sleep well at night in our rooms, plenty off cooking supplies, laundry facilities etc. The two outdoor sitting areas and the pool at this apartment are it's BEST feature and of course we were close to all the attractions. The views were amazing and the cool night time breezes were lovely. Thank you for everything Dimitris and Katernina.

Dimitris was a wonderful host but property was somewhat dated and hard to navigate with party of 4 older individuals. 2 bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs with stone staircase with no handrail.Centrally located and safe neighborhood. Enjoyed it overall.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were only 2 of us but definitely room for a bigger group! The pool was great with many outdoor snd indoor dining areas and places to relax! The owner was gracious and available for our questions.

Dimitri was very accomodating. He had a very nice welcome to our trip. The pool was amaizing! The only feature that needs a little work is the stairs to the pool. I think there needs to be a hand rail for going up and down the stairs as the third bedroom is upstairs. But overall the apartment is amaizing and we would highly reccomend it!

Nice penthouse on the top two floors of an apartment building on the east side of Lycabettus Hill (a big park across the street). It was away from the busy tourist areas but within 1/2 mile from many nice neighborhood restaurants to the west. It had easy access to the downtown sites and we were also within a 1/2 of the City-Sightseeing bus stop 8 (by the National Gallery). The penthouse was beautiful and very well furnished. The layout was nice and huge balconies everywhere! Maybe 5! The host was very welcoming and was very quick to help us with WiFi. Nice penthouse on the top two floors of an apartment building on the east side of Lycabettus Hill (a big park across the street). It was away from the busy tourist areas but within 1/2 mile from many nice neighborhood restaurants to the west. It had easy access to the downtown sites and we were also within a 1/2 of the City-Sightseeing bus stop 8 (by the National Gallery). The penthouse was beautiful and very well furnished. The layout was nice and huge balconies everywhere! Maybe 5! The host was very welcoming and was very quick to help us with WiFi. The pool is a nice feature - particularly in the heat of July25. The bedrooms and showers are small. The beds were extremely hard, which made sleeping difficult. The property was not clean to a standard we would expect. We did not appreciate are unannounced visit by the owner.

We highly recommend the luxurious Lycabettus Hill penthouse for your Athens visit! Dimitris offers fabulous hospitality and a gorgeous, quiet and secure home for your comfort. We were in Athens for 4 nights in late July with our 9 1/2 year old granddaughter on a quest to learn about Greco-Roman culture, mythology and ancient history in preparation for her school curriculum. The penthouse was our sanctuary with a well-equipped kitchen for enjoying meals, laundry facilities if needed, very comfortable beds and living area, and la pièce de résistance: the rooftop pool, where we enjoyed every spare moment! Dimitris is a friendly, sophisticated host; and extremely well-traveled, knowledgeable and accommodating with requests. We appreciated his offer to provide a driver for ATH transfer, as well. Amazing is the best way to describe it. From the initial booking until departure, Dimitri and Fotini were extremely responsive. They provided excellent guidance to things to see, when to go, places to eat. Between that and the wonderful home, it made an amazing ending to a great two week family trip.

Our hosts Dimitris and Katerina were very responsive and helped us in any way they could both prior to checkin and during our stay. We checked in on a late on a Saturday and supermarkets are closed in Athens on Sunday, so they stocked the fridge full of milk, cheese, bread, etc. so that we would have breakfast the following morning. This thoughtfulness was very much appreciated. The apartment itself was a dream. The beds were comfortable, it has A/C so we could sleep well at night in our rooms, plenty off cooking supplies, laundry facilities etc. The two outdoor sitting areas and the pool at this apartment are it's BEST feature and of course we were close to all the attractions. The views were amazing and the cool night time breezes were lovely. Thank you for everything Dimitris and Katernina.

We had a wonderful stay! We were arriving from a cruise ship and the host helped arrange transportation to the Penthouse. He and his assistant met us there to go through the property and answer any questions. He reviewed a map of the city and recommended places to visit, and helped us to set up a driver for a trip to the beach in Sounion. Very nice property, and wonderful host!

This was such a wonderful experience for me and my daughter. We came from NY to see Athens for a few days before heading to the islands. Dimitris was an amazing host! He sent a car for us at the airport, stocked the kitchen with breakfast supplies and even helped us get opera tickets. His home is your home. He showed us on a map where to go first, second, etc. we felt instantly comfortable with him and we can’t wait to come back!

What a wonderful stay we had at the Penthouse on Lycabettus Hill. The property is in a perfect location. Local restaurants, markets, shops, and bakeries are just a short walk away; all historical monuments, museums other districts are a quick uber or taxi service. The penthouse is clean, comfortable, spacious, and peaceful. We were lucky that one evening Panathinaikos F.C. (local premier/professional soccer/football team) were playing a friendly match vs. Rayo Vallecano (Spain-La Liga) the city truly came to life and the atmosphere was just amazing! Just an incredible experience to witness and be part of. The host “Dimitris” is probably the best premier host that i have ever met through Vrbo. His communication was 5 star and he helped us with all necessary transfers to and from ATH airport. He was so welcoming when we checked in with fresh fruit, cold water, wine, and coffee. He sat us down and helped us navigate the area, went over the best places to visit and how to get there. He made us feel like we were part of his extended family. The property was perfect for us. We were a party of 6…no one under the age of 17. We were comfortable, never crowded, and the swimming pool was a wonderful bonus to help with the summer Athens heat. The A/C worked perfect and kept the house cool and comfortable during the day. Overall it was a 5 star experience. The views from the private terrace and pool area are worth the stay all within itself. Thank you again Dimitris, we will be back!!!

Over all the apartment was great. Loved the roof top pool, area felt safe, was quiet. We felt very comfortable leaving the windows and doors open for fresh air even when we weren’t home. Great location just far way enough from major attractions that you could escape when it was time to relax back at the home. Backs to a park with trails for exercise or relaxation. The upstairs pool area had a great view and plenty of room to sit and enjoy the pool and surroundings. Safe to walk around. Spacious and open layout.

The property is in a great and safe location near the U.S. embassy. The apartment occupies the third floor and rooftop of the building, including a beautiful rooftop pool and large shaded patio area surrounded by a rooftop garden. I highly recommend!

Dimitris was a wonderful host but property was somewhat dated and hard to navigate with party of 4 older individuals. 2 bedrooms downstairs and one upstairs with stone staircase with no handrail.Centrally located and safe neighborhood. Enjoyed it overall.

We love the apartment, great place to stay. The rooftop has a great view, sitting area and pool. It was relaxing and enjoyable. Right across from a hill with a church and restaurant at the top where you can take a short hike to have even more beautiful views of the city. What a wonderful stay we had here for 3 nights. We wished we could have stayed longer ! 4 adults in our party. This place is roomy and the pool and pool area really make it special. Wonderful view of the city and many plants and trees lining the whole rooftop. The apartment itself feels like home with books , pictures and ornaments everywhere. Very clean and very comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped and we gave the Nespresso machine a good workout :). We set out to explore Athens at 8am and got back around 3pm. So great to relax in and by the pool after a day exploring the city. We didn’t want to leave and spent two evenings there after ordering in food. Really quiet and peaceful neighbourhood directly across from all the trees on Mount Lycabettus. Dimitris and Katerina were excellent hosts. So helpful and stocked the fridge for us on the first day !! (We took Dimitris advice and went to Cafe Avassinia - fantastic service , food and an unbelievable view of the Acropolis from the rooftop terrace. ) I highly recommend this penthouse for a stay in Athens. It is truly a one of a kind place!
What a wonderful stay we had here for 3 nights. We wished we could have stayed longer ! 4 adults in our party. This place is roomy and the pool and pool area really make it special. Wonderful view of the city and many plants and trees lining the whole rooftop. The apartment itself feels like home with books , pictures and ornaments everywhere. Very clean and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! There were only 2 of us but definitely room for a bigger group! The pool was great with many outdoor snd indoor dining areas and places to relax! The owner was gracious and available for our questions.

Wir waren mit 2 Kindern im Appartement und haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Die Wohnung ist geräumig mit einer schönen Terrasse und einer sehr großen Dachterrasse mit tollem Pool. Wir fühlten uns sehr sicher, die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen. Dimitris ist immer erreichbar und möchte, dass man sich wohl fühlt. Das Kinderzimmer hat eine niedrige Decke, die drei Bäder sind sehr klein. Die Wohnung ist hervorragend gelegen. Man kommt für 6 Euro mit dem Taxi nach Plaka. Das Appartement ist voll ausgestattet (Handtücher, Nespesso, ...).

This was such a wonderful experience for me and my daughter. We came from NY to see Athens for a few days before heading to the islands. Dimitris was an amazing host! He sent a car for us at the airport, stocked the kitchen with breakfast supplies and even helped us get opera tickets. His home is your home. He showed us on a map where to go first, second, etc. we felt instantly comfortable with him and we can’t wait to come back!

La maison est très belle et propre, avec une vue superbe sur Athènes. L'acceuil par Claire a été géniale et nous n'avons eu aucun problème pour parler avec Dimitri le proprio. J'y retournerais avec plaisir! Reservez cette maison sans soucis.

Over all the apartment was great. Loved the roof top pool, area felt safe, was quiet. We felt very comfortable leaving the windows and doors open for fresh air even when we weren’t home. Host was very helpful in helping us arrange transportation to and from the airport as well as giving us tips on things to do in the local area

We highly recommend the luxurious Lycabettus Hill penthouse for your Athens visit! Dimitris offers fabulous hospitality and a gorgeous, quiet and secure home for your comfort. We were in Athens for 4 nights in late July with our 9 1/2 year old granddaughter on a quest to learn about Greco-Roman culture, mythology and ancient history in preparation for her school curriculum. The penthouse was our sanctuary with a well-equipped kitchen for enjoying meals, laundry facilities if needed, very comfortable beds and living area, and la pièce de résistance: the rooftop pool, where we enjoyed every spare moment! Dimitris is a friendly, sophisticated host; and extremely well-traveled, knowledgeable and accommodating with requests. We appreciated his offer to provide a driver for ATH transfer, as well. And, we deeply appreciate that he worked with us to retrieve a forgotten item. Our deepest gratitude to Dimitris and his warm hospitality. Until we meet again! (“9 1/2!”)

The pool is a nice feature - particularly in the heat of July25. The bedrooms and showers are small. The beds were extremely hard, which made sleeping difficult. The property was not clean to a standard we would expect. We did not appreciate are unannounced visit by the owner.

Amazing is the best way to describe it. From the initial booking until departure, Dimitri and Fotini were extremely responsive. They provided excellent guidance to things to see, when to go, places to eat. Between that and the wonderful home, it made an amazing ending to a great two week family trip.
