We love this hotel. It was our fourth stay. We didn't see any staff,as that is how the hotel works, but if there are any problems then help can be found at the pub next door. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel is well situated and it's not far to walk into the city centre. Free parking is a bonus. Great food at the pub next door. What more can I say!

I stayed for one night in the single room. The hotel was very helpful before arrival, advising about parking and evening offering extended parking after checkout. There were some nice touches, including extra tea/coffee supplies along with fresh milk at the main entrance. I hear the adjoining pub also does delicious food, but I arrived after dinner. The room was overall quite clean. I did notice a faint smell of damp on arriving and there was heavy condensation at the windows in the morning. It was quiet within the hotel, but it is on a road with through traffic, so there is some traffic noise - this didn't bother me though. The shower was powerful and nice and hot. Great location! Overall a good stay and I would go back.

We love the hotel but Hotel automated checkin by giving code usually worlds but this time the doors were not opening and had to go find staff who were busy to sort. I would stay again

Lovely, incredibly spacious and very well-decorated room. Staff at the pub were very helpful when we couldn't access the messages with check-in info. The communal lounge area with a coffee machine was great too! Only downside was the squeaking of the light fitting when people moved around upstairs - loud enough to wake us up very early in the morning! But otherwise brilliant and would stay here again.
