This is a great local pub to stay in, the staff and the other customers made us feel very welcome. Its close to the city center but far enough away to feel like a different place. The rooms are its and all around great place to stay.

Very nicely situated in a quiet village area 3miles from the town centre. Large car park at the rear and easy access to a bus service outside. Clean pub and rooms of a reasonable quality. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Well priced.

Disappointed that the new owners had not got food on if I’d known I wouldn’t have booked there ended waking half a mile to find food and taxi back not very good
