Well designed and beautiful hotel. Lovely staff, particularly the ladies at breakfast. The breakfast, albeit a small menu, was excellent. Rooms very comfortable and well equipped. I would definately return and would highly recommend to others.

A truly wonderful stay in Cartmel. The facilities, staff and food were all fantastic. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Beautiful location, lovely breakfasting room and public interiors. Very tasteful. Very good outside areas too even though the actual outside area was quite compact . It worked. The room was tastefully done and quiet, however the ensuite was rather small, beside the fields. Lots of wildlife. The only point I would make is that the dustbin lorry stopped then went right past my window at 6am. as did an early delivery. Luckily I was already awake . Breakfast was lovely. Everything was spotless and good quality. Staff on hand to help. Would stay there again . Overall, a find!
