The Amofta hotel was great. The rooms and facilities are clean. The staff is so nice and helpful. Alwx really helped us out with letting us know where to visitc what to avoid, and answered all of our questions. He went out of his way to communicate with our rental car company since we had a hard time communicating with them. Highly recommend this boutique hotel if you are interested in being around taksim square. It’s also pretty close to everything. Easily take public transportation to get around. Oh and their breakfast is pretty good. Thank to Alex and all the staff. See you all next time we plan to be in the area

Stayed for two days at Amofta, a few minutes walk away from Taksim, and other major tourist areas like Istiklal road and Galata kulesi. Hotel staff were very helpful, rooms were clean, bedding was comfortable. Lift while small, was functional. Only downside is that the area is constantly busy and somewhat noisy. Not a problem if you're passing through like we did.

The building itself is new and clean. No complaints overall there. My sheets were changed 2x in 8 days. I would have preferred every other day. There wasn't any actual cleaning of the room. They would refresh towels and coffee etc. I had to ask for extra water that happened for a couple of days then stopped. I asked for extra towels, and it stopped after a few days as well. I asked that the shower be cleaned it was not cleaned the entire week. Evident by the dirty shower glass. Same with the sink and toilet, wiped but not cleaned. There were a couple days of a HORRIBLE smell of sewage. I called the front desk and the simply stated to open the windows as this happens from time to time. The ac worked the entire time however it dripped daily onto the bed and floor, execess moisture. I never mentioned it bc i would return to the hotel late at night every night and would simply forget. Not a huge deal but it should be looked at. Emrah and Alex are awesome!! Anything i needed they took care of. Emrah was able to find a taxi service to take my family and i to a different city and arranged for the same driver to take us back later in the night. It's a very small boutique hotel. Walking back alone at night as a female could be a little scary but i never felt unsafe just creeped out from all the staring eyes. I would definitely come back to this cute little hotel

Gece geç vakitte gelmemize rağmen güleryüzle karşılandık. Çok kompak, şirin bir yer. Odamız küçük ama yeterli ve temizti. Sabah kahvaltı yeterli ve doyurucuydu. Emrah beye ve bütün personele nezaketleri için teşekkür ederiz. Yine, yeniden geliriz.

Be aware that the Economy room is in a basement (fine print). We were unable to open the windows or blinds since they were renovating just outside the room and unfortunately the smell of paint lingered in the room. Since there were no other rooms available, we had to check out early. The area is very close to Taksim and Istiklal as well as public transportation, but rather busy.

This is NOT a five-star hotel! It was listed as a five-star hotel, but it really is a two-star. The room is tiny. The split AC was leaking water to the desk and floor. A terrible experience. Totally a scam!

Really liked the hotel and liked the location on a relatively quiet street of the main square. Staff were nice and the room was good. Being in the basement it was lovely and quiet and I thought it was good value for money. Breakfast was really nice

Great location. Just a few minutes away from Takism Square. Petite rooms. It would be nice to have TVs that allow you to connect your phone or streaming apps given their channels are very limited for people that do not speak Turkish. Breakfast smelled good. Staff was nice and kind.

Very good and clean hotel. It is very close to public transportation and istiklal street. Me and my husband enjoyed the hotel and the very friendly staff who helped with tourist places and where to eat at. We also got to enjoy the breakfast on our last day and it was very good! If we come back to istanbul, we will be staying there again!

The service 5 🌟 Alex was really helpful in every way. Room was comfortable and upgraded for €30 for one night one night waa free of charge. Thats was so great. Hotel walk about Taksim popular place. Great breakfast and the staff was teally nice. Shes so beautiful.

I just booked thia hotel last minute but they offered me early check in and i really appreciated this. A very warm welcoming from the lady in the reception from the morning shift. She offered a coffee and we started to talk like a was at home. The room was very comfy and super clean. I loved the position close to metro station and Taxsim square. We had a nice stay at this small boutique hotel. We especially enjoyed the breakfast. The best thing about this hotel is the staff at the lobby. They are genuinely kind and take great care of their guests. As an example, they went out of their way to arrange our transportation to the airport for our return trip and tried to minimize any inconvenience during the city wide restrictions on that particular day.

If you want to not only stay in a clean and comfortable hotel in the heart of the city, but also at an antique building, this is the place to be. The lovely staffs make you feel home. I stayed in a superior room in the third floor, super nice, clean and quiet (you need to keep the window close of course). It was 37 degrees during my stay, but I did not feel it with good air condition. Taksim is 1-2 minutes walking distance which you can reach metro, bus station, all kind of restaurants, cafe, and shops. Also airport bus station is 5 minutes walking from the hotel which gives you a cheapest possibility to travel back and forward to Istanbul airport and Sabiha airport. The hotel doesn’t serve breakfast, which is actually good, because eating breakfast is a cafe is one of the most delicious experience in Turkey, and there are hundreds of cafe and restaurants around the hotel. However, you have free tea and coffee at your room. There is also free coffee, tea, fruits and lovely home made cake at downstairs by the reception. Ask reception for some tips about the city, restaurants and things to do in Istanbul. I loved the hotel and will return for sure.

Camera pulita, confortevole. Molto accogliente e gentile il proprietario. Posizione perfetta per visitare la zona di Taksim, è a un minuto a piedi dal capolinea del tram nostalgico. Consiglio.

저렴한 가격에 좋은 호텔입니다. 이 가격이 이정도 방이면 별 5개도 모자릅니다. 다만 가격을 저렴하게 제공하는 것은 호텔 위치 (구석이라 조금 위험할 수도 있겠다 생각했음)와 방음시설, 조식을 제공하지 않는 점 등으로 보입니다. 방과 욕실은 4성 호텔 수준으로 매우 좋습니다. 다만 지하 층 방을 받게 되면 햇볕이 들지 않습니다 (창문은 비상계단과 연결). 조식을 제공하지 않지만 빵과 사과, 커피가 시간 관계 없이 상시 무료로 제공됩니다. 직원은 매우 친절했습니다.
