Hotel is at an excellent location ! Service and attitude of staffs are also excellent. Major drawback is the smaller rooms and no proper view from the windows as the property is surrounded by buildings. Quality of food can be improved a bit. One of the best part is the outdoor seating option at its restaurant. An arm's throw from the Thamel market makes it convenient to stroll and shop at night

Unfortunately not a very good hotel. The air conditioner is blowing right in the bed, making it impossible to turn it on when you sleep. And when you turn the AC off there is no air left in the room. And unfortunately, it is not possible to open the window. So no ventilation in the room at all. When you shower the water from the shower goes into the bedroom. And you can smell mold in the room. The staff was however very friendly and tried to help us, but in the end, we had to change the hotel. And even if they were very nice, no offer to reduce the price for the one night that we spent. So I'm very sorry to say that I can not recommend this hotel.

For the 5 nights I stayed, only the first night I had hot water for shower. The remaining 4 nights, the shower water was COLD. Complained to front desk, said other rooms had the same problem and they'd fix it within the day, but the water just never became hot. Complained again, and nothing changed. The front desk people didn't offer anything (partial refund, etc.) as a gesture for apology. Having cold shower for 4 days in a roll was such a terrible experience especially when you were staying in a reputable hotel and the staff just weren't being helpful. Also shower water flooded onto bathroom floor easily due to cracks of door. Else was ok, but overall disappointed with the service and conditions. Location is great, safe and quiet, and walkable to Thamel.

Amazing hotel, in a great location of Kathmandu. Very clean, great breakfast buffet. And probably the best thing about the hotel is the amazing service and staff. I will definitely be coming back, next time I’m in Kathmandu.

Friendly check in, very quick staff. Room was clean and well stocked. Safe/ easy walking to shops and restaurants. Front desk helped arrange a taxi back to airport, and they arrived quickly. Appreciated bottled water in the room, along with coffee/tea. Definitely recommend!

Dinner and breakfast was not good. Marriott has two properties in Nepal. Not mentioned that this is a Three star property during booking by Hotels.com. Nor they shown sign of differentiation and cause me to visit main Marriott and causing unnecessary delay and expenses for payment to cab.

I neeed a good night sleep after roughing it out in the neighbourhood near monkey temple. I could not get a proper rest due to noise. The hotel offered me a santuary, really quiet and peace, away from the bussle of the city, yet close to Thamel and Durbar Square. Highly recommended. But the breakfast spread can be better though...
