Hotel Mount View

Room and staff were good. Amenities were provided but was not upto standards, for ex the towel were dirty. The quilt provided was dirty. The bed was very loose as in it gets separated from middle very easily.

Really enjoyed staying at Mount View. I was visiting for a month and enjoyed my room and waking up to the amazing mountain view every morning. The room had everything I needed, and the hotel was set in a perfect location in the city near everything. The staff was always kind and looked after me and couldn't do enough to make my stay pleasant. I would definitely not stay anywhere else if I returned to Dharamshala.

I was unwell when I arrived and felt cold. The hotel kindly supplied me with an electric fan. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with beautiful views of the mountains. The bed was very comfortable with extra blanket in the cupboard. I did find it odd that the top sheet was brought to my room separately, along with loo paper, and the bed was not made up. The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. Soap and shampoo were provided in individual packets. Not very eco friendly. The hotel was a few minutes walk from the centre but quite a steep road. However, it was very quiet and peaceful. A good stay.
