Belford House Self Check-in Rooms & Apartments

The room furnishings and facilities were exactly as we needed (a couple); virtually new, very clean and welcoming - the only problem we had was that the mattress might be too new, as it was a little too firm for us, but that\'s a perennial problem for accommodation-providers that they can\'t win!. The radiator below the window was more than adequate to het the room. The shower was first-rate, and well-ventilated to remove steam efficiently. The range of free hot drinks was very good, and ideal on a cold February night when we stayed. The combination of black-out blinds and curtains was very effective in preventing light and much of the street noise - no-one can do much about the occasional "petrol head" who has decided to drill holes in the silencer on an exhaust. There was minimal noise within the building, and certainly nothing that disturbed us. The owners had thoughtfully provided a booklet explaining most of the FAQs that people might have in such an establishment/location, and that was most useful. It expanded on the clear and concise information that they had provided in their advisory emails in the run-up to our stay. Overall, we thought it was lovely.
