Ravelston House

Ravelston House was lovely and such a great find to stay at. The staff where really friendly and helpful and I couldn't of asked for a better stay.

Good room with a large comfortable bed, nice food and drinks from helpful staff at reasonable prices

Stayed for one night at hotel,staff nice took me to my room and told me all i needed to no about the hotel.hotel had a restaurant but i never used it.hotel room was nice but no toiletries glad i brought my own room was clean bathroom and shower were very nice

The Heating rooms cold heating not coming on until 8.20 am

Whilst I appreciate there was a no cancellation policy, due to a family bereavement, I asked Hotels.com to cancel the booking for me. They spoke to The Hotel and explained who had died. The Hotel point-blank refused to allow me to cancel. Totally unsympathetic uncaring. Passed the Hotel later on we’re looking for a venue for the wake - lots of mess outside the front door looks like a litter bin had been tipped upside down by the front door. Staff passed it and did nothing. Appears their attention to detail was equally as low as their customer service.
