Unique property. On the smaller side. No lifts to rooms. Our room had its challenges with sloped ceilings and uneven flooring. We had to stoop over moving around the room to avoid hitting head. Glad we were only here for two nights. Plus side was you could open the window and they had a great bar and restaurant.

Second time staying, room 6 way smaller than 5 and sadly early deliveries and collections (05:30) prevented a gentle wake up. We love Hove, the food, beach… atmosphere…. Parking is close… Would just love to be lucky enough to lay in..

The large double room that I had booked was a good size and was very clean and nicely decorated. Only negative is that the room is quite dark and bathroom lighting around vanity area could be brighter. The reception staff are very pleasant and helpful. There is no lift so if you have heavy bags you will need to lug them up the staircase to get to your room.

We had a really lovely stay at Ginger Pig The Hotel and Restaurant were excellent, lovely food and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. We would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again Thanks

Spent 2 nights whilst attending a Wedding in the area. Loved the Nespresso Machine and Ironing Board/Iron in Room. Great Breakfast and really enjoyed the bar. Special mention to Chelsea on the Front Desk!

Rated at the Hotel. Had room 3 really lovely. Great touches with the cowshed products and a fantastic shower and big bath. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was also very good with fantastic service throughout. Have the bacon sandwich is was so good and the best has browns we have ever had.

The hotel is really nice. The building is attractive and the staff was extremely kind and helpful. The bar is excellent with a good selection. The beer brewed for The Ginger Pig exclusively is superb. The room was quiet and clean. Some strands of hair in the shower though and the finishing in the room can be improved. Signs of bad painting and cheap craftsmanship. But more worringly there was a socket badly installed and extremely loose which can be a hazard and cause a fire. It needs to pay more attention to some details. But it is well located and overall good.

Lovely hotel. Restaurant was buzzing when we arrived. We were shown to our room which was clean tidy and decorated stylishly. There is a fridge in the room. Bed was comfy and bathroom was large with a lovely big shower Just a few minutes from the seafront.

Small room, not in the best condition, quite comfortable. Window catch broken, so loud noise from outside and rattling window. Bathroom fan was also dodgy and very loud, had to turn off. The access is up a narrow staircase. The service/ check in was a bit weird. They had a check in desk but we had to go over to a lady aitting at one of the restaurant tables with a laptop for anything. The hotel staff/ manager don't know anything about the restaurant/ pub food service times, they did seem to know the checkout time.

Absolutely loved our stay here. When i first arrived i thought the gentleman behind the bar was a little surly - when asked him about parking he said twice its all in the email - however because I booked through expedia i didnt get an email from the place. However, from there on everything was perfect. We had room 9 and the cleanliness was outstanding. Lovely little touches like bottled water, lovely coffee pods and beach towels. Extremely quiet too. Would definitely return.

The service at the Ginger Pig was amazing everyone we came into contact with was extremely friendly. The room was also beautiful, spacious and very clean. We found the location perfect too with an extremely close walk to the sea front and easy access to Brighton.

This was a very last minute booking and the hotel was brilliant at accommodating us. The room was stunning and the cowshed products available to use were a nice touch. The mini bar is well stocked and the nespresso style machine was a great extra touch. We entered the room to classic fm playing which was lovely. Overall a really wonderful stay however, the noise from the neighbouring room was crystal clear, could hear their radio up until 12.30 and very loud talking through possibly paper thin walls.

So impressed with the accommodation at The Ginger Pig. The best amenities (5-star, I would say!) and very friendly staff. I stayed on my own and felt safe & comfortable.

Lovely pleasant staff, Lukas booked us in and it really was an easy stay from there .The room was smartly presented, tea coffee and water is complimentary .The coffee machine could have done with instructions I've not used the pod ones before( though perhaps there are ? and I missed them? Apologies if that is the case) I managed to work it out with aid of you tube so all good .The lighting isnt great, quite gloomy especially in the bathroom if you want to do your makeup but again you can get round this. The bedroom was very comfortable, air conditioned and you could open the windows too- always a plus . We didnt eat here however we did have cocktails in the bar and the bar staff produced excellent margaritas always a good sign as so many get them so wrong. Would highly recommend The Ginger Pig

Great for what we needed, very clean. Had a couple of drinks in the bar and just felt like we weren’t welcome and a bit of an inconvenience, which was a shame as the place otherwise is fine.

I stayed at The Ginger Pig, while traveling with family for the holidays. Nestled in a nice residential area of Hove, The Ginger Pig is located near wonderful cafes, restaurants, shops and it's right across the street from the water. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the room was so tidy. The decor was very trendy and fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits in the morning were a nice treat. Plus, the restaurant downstairs served a great breakfast. Overall, we really enjoyed staying outside of Brighton's city centre and being right by the water and in a quieter section of town in Hove. It was such a nice stay we're looking for an excuse to go back!
I stayed at The Ginger Pig, while traveling with family for the holidays. Nestled in a nice residential area of Hove, The Ginger Pig is located near wonderful cafes, restaurants, shops and it's right across the street from the water. Everyone at the hotel was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the room was so tidy. The decor was very trendy and fresh milk in the fridge and biscuits in the morning were a nice treat. Plus, the restaurant downstairs served a great breakfast. Overall, we really enjoyed staying outside of Brighton's city centre and being right by the water and in a quieter section of town in Hove. It was such a nice stay we're looking for an excuse to go back!

Lovely hotel. Restaurant was buzzing when we arrived. We were shown to our room which was clean tidy and decorated stylishly. There is a fridge in the room. Bed was comfy and bathroom was large with a lovely big shower Just a few minutes from the seafront.

The welcome at the Ginger Pig was excellent. We had two larger rooms in the top floor - rooms 10 and 11 -which were spacious and very comfortable. Excellent bed, great shower and lovely toiletries. Good coffee machine, kettle for tea and new bottles of water every day. Lovely quiet location only a few minutes walk from the beach, beach cafe and restaurants. 45 minutes walk into Brighton or a bus nearby goes along the coast in both directions. Local parking on the pricy side if you stay a few days. We didnt eat at the Ginger Pig only because we loved to sit beside the sea. Nice little courtyard at the back for an early evening drink. The bar closes early (once everyone has dined) but this was not a problem for us. We'd love to go back.

The service at the Ginger Pig was amazing everyone we came into contact with was extremely friendly. The room was also beautiful, spacious and very clean. We found the location perfect too with an extremely close walk to the sea front and easy access to Brighton.

Rated at the Hotel. Had room 3 really lovely. Great touches with the cowshed products and a fantastic shower and big bath. We had breakfast in the restaurant which was also very good with fantastic service throughout. Have the bacon sandwich is was so good and the best has browns we have ever had.

Second time staying, room 6 way smaller than 5 and sadly early deliveries and collections (05:30) prevented a gentle wake up. We love Hove, the food, beach… atmosphere…. Parking is close… Would just love to be lucky enough to lay in..
