My wife and I visited Todos Santos for the first time based on friends' recommendations, and we’re so glad we did. We stayed at Hotel Cristobal and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The property is exactly as advertised—well designed, clean, comfortable, and elegantly understated, set in a truly stunning location. Our oceanfront room was spacious with a breathtaking balcony view, and waking up to the sound of waves was unforgettable. The staff made our stay exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. Huge thanks to Johan, Fernando, Vidal, Alfonso, Sofia, Raul, Naomi, Paco, and Jesús. ¡Muchísimas gracias, amigos! Todos Santos itself blew us away. From the kind locals and historic charm to the relaxed vibe and incredible food—it exceeded all expectations. We even dined at three Michelin-rated restaurants, including Benno at the hotel, which was a standout. The poolside restaurant also impressed us with its flavors, hospitality, and views of the ocean, beach, and mountains. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Completely comfortable in every way, a true place to relax and enjoy the beauty of baja. There for my brother's wedding. 2 things that stood out were the service and the food were both phenomenal. Service people knew us by our first names and catered to our every need, even preparing things that were off menu. Alfonso remembering our preferences and dietary restrictions, so that everyone was healthy and happy. The mission style chapel with arched red brick ceiling was beautiful, serene, and evoked understated Mexican elegance with shades of white, cream, and light warm wood. The candle lit wedding reception tables abundantly adorned with heavy Mexican glass vessels filled with creamy candles shining with love and light - truly could not have been any more romantic. We spent the whole day beforehand relaxing in the emerald tiled pool sipping hand-crafted tropical cocktails. Some relatives went hiking. Some spent a few hours exploring nearby town of Toto Santos. The landscaping and property are pristine. There's truly nothing I would change about it. I wish I had brought a lighted makeup mirror. Other than the dimly lit room, without a magifying mirror, the property was perfection. I will miss the freshest of fish, the melt in your mouth steak, the sauces and salsas, and the crisp cool salads the most. Mango French toast & breakfast burrito with scrambled egg on handmade flour tortilla served with fried cheese wedges, black bean puree and avocado is also quite yummy.

An amazing property with excellent service, dining, and rooms. The "off the beaten" path location and limited number of rooms on the property makes for a quiet and more intimate experience, and the immediate access to the beach and desert hiking trails make it easy to be active on your own terms. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful but not hovering, and the food at all three eateries on the property were always fresh and delicious.

Gorgeous property. It was better than the four seasons in east cape for less. The service was incredible. Highly recommend. We had a beach front hotel with a jacuzzi and it was well worth it.

The property staff / caregivings did a great job of welcoming and being accessible but not too much so. Beautiful ocean-side pool with unique jacuzzi features. Excellent food - my partner and I are both vegan and they were very accommodating; both what was on the menu and what the chef was willing to do one-off. Easy to communicate with property team - in Spanish or English. My partner is a nature photographer and was thrilled with all the floral and fauna he could photograph in their gardens including a variety of magnificent butterflies. To Edna, Sophia, Salvador, Jesus, Israel and Todado (spelling? - he worked in the pool bar and Bena) - you all were amazing, so kind and helpful. Joe and I will be back! And Joe will know a few more Spanish words! THANK YOU! Joe and Judy (oh, and I can't forget - amazing seaside rooms with beautiful ocean views and spectacular starry nights.

Everything from our check in to check out was relaxing and lovely. We splurged on the ocean view room since we were celebrating our baby moon and it was so worth it. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to the sunrise is the absolute best! Highly recommend laying by the pool all day and ordering everything on the menu, you can’t go wrong! Can’t wait to come back!

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Best food, the attention to detail in the design of the facilities. Staff was wonderful. I’m a designer and I was blown away. So remote and beautiful! If I could suggest a few things: add a few small bistro tables, bench’s and seating nooks on the east side of the entry. Beautiful courtyard for morning warm sun to sit and have a coffee bit there is no outdoor furniture and the rest of the facilities are in shade until around 10:30am. Add coffee to room complimentary (small Nespresso machine with pucks) so you can make in the morning and sit on your balcony. So much more potential with the area to the south of the beach bar! I’ll be back and will tell everyone I know! My experience was epic! 🙏

The property is exactly as advertised—well designed, clean, comfortable, and elegantly understated, set in a truly stunning location. Our oceanfront room was spacious with a breathtaking balcony view, and waking up to the sound of waves was unforgettable. The staff made our stay exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. Huge thanks to Johan, Fernando, Vidal, Alfonso, Sofia, Raul, Naomi, Paco, and Jesús. ¡Muchísimas gracias, amigos! Todos Santos itself blew us away. From the kind locals and historic charm to the relaxed vibe and incredible food—it exceeded all expectations. We even dined at three Michelin-rated restaurants, including Benno at the hotel, which was a standout. The poolside restaurant also impressed us with its flavors, hospitality, and views of the ocean, beach, and mountains. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Completely comfortable in every way, a true place to relax and enjoy the beauty of baja. There for my brother's wedding. 2 things that stood out were the service and the food were both phenomenal. Service people knew us by our first names and catered to our every need, even preparing things that were off menu. Alfonso remembering our preferences and dietary restrictions, so that everyone was healthy and happy. The mission style chapel with arched red brick ceiling was beautiful, serene, and evoked understated Mexican elegance with shades of white, cream, and light warm wood. The candle lit wedding reception tables abundantly adorned with heavy Mexican glass vessels filled with creamy candles shining with love and light - truly could not have been any more romantic. We spent the whole day beforehand relaxing in the emerald tiled pool sipping hand-crafted tropical cocktails. Some relatives went hiking. Some spent a few hours exploring nearby town of Toto Santos. The landscaping and property are pristine. There's truly nothing I would change about it. I wish I had brought a lighted makeup mirror. Other than the dimly lit room, without a magifying mirror, the property was perfection. I will miss the freshest of fish, the melt in your mouth steak, the sauces and salsas, and the crisp cool salads the most. Mango French toast & breakfast burrito with scrambled egg on handmade flour tortilla served with fried cheese wedges, black bean puree and avocado is also quite yummy.

An amazing property with excellent service, dining, and rooms. The "off the beaten" path location and limited number of rooms on the property makes for a quiet and more intimate experience, and the immediate access to the beach and desert hiking trails make it easy to be active on your own terms. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful but not hovering, and the food at all three eateries on the property were always fresh and delicious.

The property staff / caregivings did a great job of welcoming and being accessible but not too much so. Beautiful ocean-side pool with unique jacuzzi features. Excellent food - my partner and I are both vegan and they were very accommodating; both what was on the menu and what the chef was willing to do one-off. Easy to communicate with property team - in Spanish or English. My partner is a nature photographer and was thrilled with all the floral and fauna he could photograph in their gardens including a variety of magnificent butterflies. Everything from our check in to check out was relaxing and lovely. We splurged on the ocean view room since we were celebrating our baby moon and it was so worth it. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to the sunrise is the absolute best! Highly recommend laying by the pool all day and ordering everything on the menu, you can’t go wrong! Can’t wait to come back!

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Best food, the attention to detail in the design of the facilities. Staff was wonderful. I’m a designer and I was blown away. So remote and beautiful! If I could suggest a few things: add a few small bistro tables, bench’s and seating nooks on the east side of the entry. Beautiful courtyard for morning warm sun to sit and have a coffee bit there is no outdoor furniture and the rest of the facilities are in shade until around 10:30am. Add coffee to room complimentary (small Nespresso machine with pucks) so you can make in the morning and sit on your balcony. So much more potential with the area to the south of the beach bar! I’ll be back and will tell everyone I know! My experience was epic! 🙏

The service is next level ! From A to Z ! Great food as well. The guardian Raul welcomed us knowing our names, the waiters Edna and the 2 Alfonso were awesome. We'll come back for sure. My only remark would be to get better maintenance of the road leading to the hotel, was a bit rough, but nothing to worry that much.

The hotel’s location, design and restaurants are outstanding. Staff is friendly and very attentive. My only caution to others is to ask the hotel for the best rates while arranging transportation and other outside services. My feeling was that the mark up for said services was strange. Arranging for car service we experienced a 100% mark-up by the hotel concierge. Communication with the hotel on this particular matter was also difficult. Several e-mail inquiries never responded to by the hotel staff. Best to utilize the internet and booking your transportation service directly.

Our time at Hotel San Cristobal was pure bliss. It is true what they say, all good things are at the end of a dirt road. We were overwhelmed by beauty where the mountain meets the sea, and entertained by the daily activity both on the beach and in the ocean in front of us. Our Spanish is no good, but the warm staff was generous and kind enough to offer a few lessons. Every day was magical, from the sunrise over the mountain at your back to the sunset dipping behind the mountain at your side - we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was fresh and delicious, the drinks top notch, and the nightly cookies in your room are a lovely touch. We have no critique. Only gratitude for the thoughtfulness of its creators, staff, and the local community. And I suspect it won’t be long before we return.

My wife and I visited Todos Santos for the first time based on friends' recommendations, and we’re so glad we did. We stayed at Hotel Cristobal and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The property is exactly as advertised—well designed, clean, comfortable, and elegantly understated, set in a truly stunning location. Our oceanfront room was spacious with a breathtaking balcony view, and waking up to the sound of waves was unforgettable. The staff made our stay exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. Huge thanks to Johan, Fernando, Vidal, Alfonso, Sofia, Raul, Naomi, Paco, and Jesús. ¡Muchísimas gracias, amigos! Todos Santos itself blew us away. From the kind locals and historic charm to the relaxed vibe and incredible food—it exceeded all expectations. We even dined at three Michelin-rated restaurants, including Benno at the hotel, which was a standout. The poolside restaurant also impressed us with its flavors, hospitality, and views of the ocean, beach, and mountains. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

Completely comfortable in every way, a true place to relax and enjoy the beauty of baja. There for my brother's wedding. 2 things that stood out were the service and the food were both phenomenal. Service people knew us by our first names and catered to our every need, even preparing things that were off menu. Alfonso remembering our preferences and dietary restrictions, so that everyone was healthy and happy. The mission style chapel with arched red brick ceiling was beautiful, serene, and evoked understated Mexican elegance with shades of white, cream, and light warm wood. The candle lit wedding reception tables abundantly adorned with heavy Mexican glass vessels filled with creamy candles shining with love and light - truly could not have been any more romantic. We spent the whole day beforehand relaxing in the emerald tiled pool sipping hand-crafted tropical cocktails. Some relatives went hiking. Some spent a few hours exploring nearby town of Toto Santos. The landscaping and property are pristine. There's truly nothing I would change about it. I wish I had brought a lighted makeup mirror. Other than the dimly lit room, without a magifying mirror, the property was perfection. I will miss the freshest of fish, the melt in your mouth steak, the sauces and salsas, and the crisp cool salads the most. Mango French toast & breakfast burrito with scrambled egg on handmade flour tortilla served with fried cheese wedges, black bean puree and avocado is also quite yummy.

The property staff / caregivings did a great job of welcoming and being accessible but not too much so. Beautiful ocean-side pool with unique jacuzzi features. Excellent food - my partner and I are both vegan and they were very accommodating; both what was on the menu and what the chef was willing to do one-off. Easy to communicate with property team - in Spanish or English. My partner is a nature photographer and was thrilled with all the floral and fauna he could photograph in their gardens including a variety of magnificent butterflies. To Edna, Sophia, Salvador, Jesus, Israel and Todado (spelling? - he worked in the pool bar and Bena) - you all were amazing, so kind and helpful. Joe and I will be back! This is one of my favorite hotels of all time. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely cares about ensuring that the guests have a wonderful trip. The property is immaculate, the food on site is amazing, and the beach is stunning.

Everything from our check in to check out was relaxing and lovely. We splurged on the ocean view room since we were celebrating our baby moon and it was so worth it. Falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking up to the sunrise is the absolute best! Highly recommend laying by the pool all day and ordering everything on the menu, you can’t go wrong! Can’t wait to come back!

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed. Best food, the attention to detail in the design of the facilities. Staff was wonderful. I’m a designer and I was blown away. So remote and beautiful! If I could suggest a few things: add a few small bistro tables, bench’s and seating nooks on the east side of the entry. Beautiful courtyard for morning warm sun to sit and have a coffee bit there is no outdoor furniture and the rest of the facilities are in shade until around 10:30am. Add coffee to room complimentary (small Nespresso machine with pucks) so you can make in the morning and sit on your balcony. So much more potential with the area to the south of the beach bar! I’ll be back and will tell everyone I know! My experience was epic! 🙏

Our time at Hotel San Cristobal was pure bliss. It is true what they say, all good things are at the end of a dirt road. We were overwhelmed by beauty where the mountain meets the sea, and entertained by the daily activity both on the beach and in the ocean in front of us. Our Spanish is no good, but the warm staff was generous and kind enough to offer a few lessons. Every day was magical, from the sunrise over the mountain at your back to the sunset dipping behind the mountain at your side - we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was fresh and delicious, the drinks top notch, and the nightly cookies in your room are a lovely touch. We have no critique. Only gratitude for the thoughtfulness of its creators, staff, and the local community. And I suspect it won’t be long before we return.

Hotel San Cristobal was everything we needed for a week long stay and exceeded our expectations. The staff were some of the best I have ever encountered, they made us feel at home and catered to us without any kind of pretension what so ever. The location was somewhat remote which was amazing because we were a 10 minute drive to Todos Santos and also a few miles away from a few other hotel properties with wonderful restaurants. All 3 of the restaurants at San Cristobal were incredible. Everything was so fresh from their on site garden, along with some of the freshest seafood I've ever had. The pool was beautiful with an infinity view of the Pacific Ocean and we got to watch the local fisherman set out each morning. Being a pretty remote stretch of beach, we got to see alot of wildlife, Pelicans. dive bombing for their catch, Ospreys doing the same, stingrays jumping out of the water, sea lions, sea turtles and so much more. It was one of the best vacations we had ever taken and we can't wait to visit again. Thank you so much for hosting us San Cristóbal!!

Ocean view room was great for whale watching but somewhat limited by palm trees. Been several times, gorgeous property, great staff and excellent food (albeit a little pricy, but to be expected). While outside of the hotel’s control, the loud music at the weekend from the fishing camp next door and the jeeps camped right outside our room on the beach somewhat spoiled the serenity vibe.
