Ideal location for commuting to wedding venue. Lovely friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing as was their coffee shop. Plenty of coffee bars and quaint shops to wander about. 2 local pubs serve meals with choices to suit everyone.

Excellent small hotel. Large clean rooms very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was very good in pleasant surroundings. Situated in the center of Biggar with plenty of on street parking. Good pub over the road that you get a discount in for food when staying in the hotel. Overall a great stay and would certainly do so again.

Nice hotel but no parking so you have to get lucky on the street outside. Wifi was not very good and at breakfast I asked for scrambled eggs on toast but was given a plate of over microwaved eggs, no toast which was odd. Room was nice however and quite location in the centre of town.

Lovely welcome, really nice pub, the Crown across the road, which gave a 10% discount as we were staying at the Kirkstyle. Really good breakfast too

Really great stay for a family with small baby and dog. Room was clean and comfortable, and we were warmly welcomed. EV charger across the road in local carpark Would perhaps consider an increased selection at the continental breakfast.

Great check in from courteous staff we arrived early than check in time as we were attending a nearby wedding staff were helpful leaving our cases in the room and giving us a place to change . We got back just after midnight and found the room clean with a comfy bed a good night's sleep later and the breakfast was great one of the best. Well done to all and it was a pleasure to stay there

Excellent small hotel. Large clean rooms very clean and welcoming. Breakfast was very good in pleasant surroundings. Situated in the center of Biggar with plenty of on street parking. Brilliantly clean room, nice and spacious. Lovely friendly staff. Modern bathrooms. Relaxed atmosphere and very peaceful. The town is really nice with lots of history. Stayed there to attend a wedding at the local Cornhill Castle which is literally just 10 minutes by cab. The Kirkstyle was so convenient. Breakfast was so generous in its portions and superbly cooked.

Staff were great and very friendly. Our room was spacious and the bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent also with a large buffet selection. The hotel is lovely and service was great. Only issue with the room was a strong smell coming from the drain in the bathroom. Apart from that we had a great stay. Breakfast was delicious!

I stayed for one night before a wedding nearby. I had a warm welcome and the room was lovely! Spotless and modern with a view over the street. Secondary glazing meant I heard nothing and slept for 9 hours! The bathroom was brand new by the looks of things too. The Eggs Benedict was lovely too. I’d definitely stay again when I’m back down this way.

This is a lovely hotel, with friendly staff. We needed a late check-in as we were travelling from a distance and this was arranged with no problems. We had a very nice bedroom.

When we got back from the wedding we had attended,about midnight,when we opened our room door it was like walking into a sauna,as re tall designer radiator, was at setting 5,the highest it could be. The room temperature was ok when we arrived about midday,but was stifling at night. A leak also developed in the bathroom,coming from the washbasin area. We called the duty manager who in fairness had a young lad out in no time,he checked & couldn’t find the leak,mopped up the pool of water off the floor,so we didn’t use the basin after that. Apologised that he couldn’t move us to another room as they were full. Stood at reception on day of departure for about 15 mins to hand key over,no one appeared,taxi arrived,had to leave key on reception desk

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Kirkstyle hotel! Charming and comfortable. Manager was very helpful and met us for a late check in due to flights delays. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the suite was large and comfortable for us as well. Breakfast was delicious and our server Rachel very helpful by answering all questions related to food (we are American and had not been to Scotland before). She also had a good sense of humor. Very fair price for room and breakfast included. Would definitely stay again!

We received a very warm welcome by the duty managers. They were very understanding when we requested a later check in as we were traveling all the way from Inverness. Nothing was a problem at all. We stayed for two nights and breakfast both mornings was amazing. Thoroughly recommend staying at this lovely hotel. We will definitely be back when we can.

Breakfast was delicious and our server Rachel very helpful by answering all questions related to food (we are American and had not been to Scotland before). She also had a good sense of humor. Very fair price for room and breakfast included. Would definitely stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Kirkstyle hotel! Charming and comfortable. Manager was very helpful and met us for a late check in due to flights delays. Everyone was very accommodating and helpful. Bed was comfortable and the suite was large and comfortable for us as well. Breakfast was delicious and our server Rachel very helpful by answering all questions related to food (we are American and had not been to Scotland before). She also had a good sense of humor. Nice hotel but no parking so you have to get lucky on the street outside. Wifi was not very good and at breakfast I asked for scrambled eggs on toast but was given a plate of over microwaved eggs, no toast which was odd. Room was nice however and quite location in the centre of town.

Great check in from courteous staff we arrived early than check in time as we were attending a nearby wedding staff were helpful leaving our cases in the room and giving us a place to change . We got back just after midnight and found the room clean with a comfy bed a good night's sleep later and the breakfast was great one of the best. Well done to all and it was a pleasure to stay there

Brilliantly clean room, nice and spacious. Lovely friendly staff. Modern bathrooms. Relaxed atmosphere and very peaceful. The town is really nice with lots of history. Stayed there to attend a wedding at the local Cornhill Castle which is literally just 10 minutes by cab. The Kirkstyle was so convenient. Breakfast was so generous in its portions and superbly cooked.

Staff were great and very friendly. Our room was spacious and the bed was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent also with a large buffet selection. Small negatives were the shower leaked at base of door and main ceiling was in poor condition. Neither had any effect on our stay at all though.

I stayed for one night before a wedding nearby. I had a warm welcome and the room was lovely! Spotless and modern with a view over the street. Secondary glazing meant I heard nothing and slept for 9 hours! The bathroom was brand new by the looks of things too. The Eggs Benedict was lovely too. I’d definitely stay again when I’m back down this way.

Really great stay for a family with small baby and dog. Room was clean and comfortable, and we were warmly welcomed. EV charger across the road in local carpark Would perhaps consider an increased selection at the continental breakfast.

Reception staff was helpful. Rooms were ok but would have been nice to open the windows. Appreciated having a fridge. Location was perfect. Nice coffee and sandwiches directly across from the hotel. Biggest drawback was available parking. There was none with the property. We needed an accessible spot for my dad and although there is parking right in front, it is time restricted . We had to park quite a distance and it is a busy high street. Breakfast was terrible. It was free but we chose to skip the second day.

Stayed one night when attending a wedding in the castle. Can only recommend on my visit. Looked after by Cathy from arrival until breakfast next morning. Had dinner at Crown hotel a few mins from hotel and 10% discount on food was applied for hotel guests. Mind flash the key fob to let them know before the bill is on table. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast was served and tea/ coffee top ups were no trouble if asked for. Recommend the Kirkstyle if staying in the area.
