Welcoming Hostess, but was told room servicing would be limited due to staff shortage. Excellent breakfast. Boating equipment was in poor shape. Many items were unusable. Lawn chairs and outdoor gathering areas were very good. Disappointed with refrigerator size in room. Nice bottle of wine in room. Too many requests for tips, which I feel is inappropriate at an expensive establishment.

We felt very "welcomed" when we arrived. Very friendly reception. We relaxed with a complimentary cold beverage in the parlor area and got our first view of the lake before going to our room. Our room on the third floor was comfortable and had a great view of the lake thru the new growth on the trees. The toilet/shower room was small and the sink was in the bedroom area, but it all worked for us. After a short drive to downtown Lee and a super dinner, we went back to the Inn to get a couple of the brownies for dessert. If the weather had been a little warmer, we would have sat on the lake shore in one of the many chairs to enjoy the sunset. In the morning, breakfast was exceptional - a choice of entrees, sides, juice, fresh pastry, fresh fruit. The server, the cook, the front desk attendant, all checked on us to be sure everything was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

This place exceeded expectations. It is directly on Lake Laurel and you can borrow kayaks and paddle boards whenever you want. It is also right next to a public beach, if you want to swim. The staff is very friendly and they keep you well fed with treats throughout your stay. While the breakfast wasn’t amazing it was solid and filling. Highly recommend!

I had the most amazing breakfast here. The staff provides a list of great local restaurants, trails, and activities to do for visitors. The property is located in a beautiful spot and they provided kayaks and paddle boards for guests to use, which were a huge plus to our stay. Will definitely stay here again when we visit Southern Berkshires area!

The Lakehouse Inn goes the extra mile to provide top-notch service. I was greeted with a hot cocktail and warm brownie upon arrival and it was so nice to take a moment to relax with a treat (after a long drive), while enjoying the beautiful lake views. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and they go above and beyond. The room was immaculate, cozy/comfortable, and had all the amenities you could ask for. The view was amazing and made for a very peaceful experience. The Lakehouse Inn really made an impression on me and I hope to come back!

First, I need to say that this was my first experience for this Inn. I want to be up front with my time there and ask that it reflects a limited time frame. The staff are terrific and the location of the Inn beautiful. Sadly the noise level was a challenge, especially with the people above me. I did speak with them to remind them of my location but …….. I found that the living room furniture too low for me. Soft furniture is something that I need to be aware of in the future. Getting out of it was a challenge. The bathroom was large and bright. I wasn’t sure if the floor was supposed to look the way it did or if it was in need of a good scouring. Sadly, I let It take away from the great bathroom decor for me. I opted to cut my stay short because of being exhausted from lack of sleep. I cancelled my last night stay in the Berkshires. As a result, I accepted the fact that I was forfeiting the cost of my last night stay at their “sister Inn”. I also knew that I would not have the option to re-schedule for another date time. My health is more important than my financial loss. My choice. It truly was a learning experience after not traveling for the last few years due to Covid.

I had the most beautiful king suite overlooking the lake with a balcony. The couch in the living area was the most comfortable and stylish couch I've ever experienced in a. hotel room. Very large suite with great amenities. Even though it was winter, I fixed myself a hot tea in the middle of the night from the Keurig coffee maker and sat on the deck and watched the moonlight on the lake while the waves splashed ashore. It was so peaceful. Next time, I will be booking this room for more than one night!

The Lakehouse Inn is really cute, right on a lake with wonderful waterfront spaces. The bathroom situation is more European--toilet and shower in the bathroom, sink outside. There was no tub, not a problem for me but good to be aware of. The morning breakfast was delicious! I was greeted with a white wine sangria. It's conveniently located for roaming around Stockbridge, Great Barrington, etc. Close to the Norman Rockwell museum, Hancock Shaker Village, Edith Wharton estate. Would absolutely stay again.

This is a lovely upgrade of an old house. Staff service was excellent, especially Kathleen and Juny and the elegant breakfasts. Location was good for exploring the Berkshires. Cold when we stayed, but the lakeshore grounds are enticing. Two caveats: the inn is set off just a little way from the Lenox-Lee road; we were near the front, and there was some limited traffic noise. Also, our queen room-with-lake view room, while beautifully appointed, was so small that the toilet in the converted closet was approximately three feet from the side of the bed, with just a sliding panel separating the spaces. I hope to go back, but would spring for a bigger room. Loved the lake and the luxury touches thoughtfully provided, including a bottle of wine in the room.

It was hard for two persons to find space to open their suitcase fully. The best thing about the end is the breakfast. A wide variety of items deliciously prepared. What I liked about the Lakehouse Inn was its staff, who were friendly, professional, and very accommodating to my special needs. Our room was facing the lake which gave a beautiful view. Their windows were exceptional in keeping the room quiet. We had a wonderful time.

Service was warm and great. The property has a great view of the lake. Wish the room decor was nicer. There’s no lamp or indirect lighting in the bedroom (the ceiling light was glaring). The bed felt smaller than queen size and the sofa was small relative to the space.

Staff were overbearing, literally. Wanted us to sit down and speak to us about rules and waivers to simply stay at hotel after traveling all day to get there. Room was 86 degrees and stuffy upon arrival. We booked best room in hotel and sofas were horrible. A staff member watched us sit out on their deck for an hour and pretend to be on break. Very strange and never had an experience like this. Worst hotel experience in many years after staying at hundreds of hotels, inns and B&B’s.

The Inn is lovely. Friendly, welcoming and upbeat staff and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. The room was very comfortable. The lake is sweet and beautiful. Breakfast was DELISH! Great stay! I highly recommend!

This was a wonderful find for us! We were going to a concert at Tanglewood and were looking for something close by. We found the Lakehouse inn and were delighted with what a magical place it is. Right on a beautiful lake. Lots of small touches and amenities. Incredible breakfast looking out at the lake. Staff was lovely….greeted us with a mango Sangria on the porch. Only sad we didn’t stay longer to make use of the kayaks and paddle boards. 10 min drive to Tanglewood. It is on the main road, so a little road noise during the day but otherwise, what a treat! Will definitely stay again.

Went to the Berkshires to see the fall foliage. The inn was very nice. The staff were absolutely lovely. The breakfast was fantastic. Everyone was amazingly attentive. It's a great location minutes away from Lenox and Stockbridge. The staff recommended great restaurants and we had a wonderful experience at the Norman Rockwell Museum. Hoping to return.

A great location and beautiful setting on the lake. The breakfast include in our stay were excellent- easy to get to our many destinations- including Tanglewood and the Norman Rockwell Museum to name a few.

Felt a bit like summer camp with a long list of rules that i was told to follow. The welcome glass of wine was nice, but the $4 bottle of wine in the room was a bit disappointing. The breakfast wasn't all that much better with costco type pastries and what i think was a frozen quiche. Cute place, just not quite there for the cost.

We felt very "welcomed" when we arrived. Very friendly reception. We relaxed with a complimentary cold beverage in the parlor area and got our first view of the lake before going to our room. Our room on the third floor was comfortable and had a great view of the lake thru the new growth on the trees. The toilet/shower room was small and the sink was in the bedroom area, but it all worked for us. After a short drive to downtown Lee and a super dinner, we went back to the Inn to get a couple of the brownies for dessert. If the weather had been a little warmer, we would have sat on the lake shore in one of the many chairs to enjoy the sunset. In the morning, breakfast was exceptional - a choice of entrees, sides, juice, fresh pastry, fresh fruit. The server, the cook, the front desk attendant, all checked on us to be sure everything was perfect. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay!

This place exceeded expectations. It is directly on Lake Laurel and you can borrow kayaks and paddle boards whenever you want. It is also right next to a public beach, if you want to swim. The staff is very friendly and they keep you well fed with treats throughout your stay. While the breakfast wasn’t amazing it was solid and filling. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at the Lakehouse Inn. The service is excellent - they really take good care of you here, making you feel welcome. There is always a tasty snack and beverage available and the free breakfast is delicious. I don't usually sleep well away from home, but I slept great in the comfortable beds. I will definitely be back!

We stayed two nights celebrating our 25th anniversary. The room was lovely with a huge bathroom. The staff left us an anniversary card and a chilled bottle of Prosecco to help us celebrate. The daily complimentary Sangria, ice cream, brownies and most of all the breakfast were fantastic. Loved being on the lake and how conveinent the Inn is to all the area attractions. We definitely plan on coming back to stay again soon.

I was greeted with a hot cocktail and warm brownie upon arrival and it was so nice to take a moment to relax with a treat (after a long drive), while enjoying the beautiful lake views. The staff are all super friendly and welcoming and they go above and beyond. The room was immaculate, cozy/comfortable, and had all the amenities you could ask for. The view was amazing and made for a very peaceful experience. The Lakehouse Inn really made an impression on me and I hope to come back!

Lakehouse Inn was one of the best experience we had. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious. And the property was beautiful since it was right on the lake. Only one thing was a bit hard for us was that we were 4 people and the room said it accommodated 4. However we had a king size bed and a sofa bed but the sofa bed was quite small and only fit 1 person. I wish there was a double bed instead of a sofa bed to truly fit 4 people. Everything else was superb
